"Hmm?" Strelitzia was puzzled by the look on Ansem's face upon hearing her words, just then, the people gritted their teeth, clenched their fists and shouted out towards the podium: "...TRAITOR!" "HOW DARE YOU!" "YOU'VE BETRAYED THE THRONE!" "KILL THEM BOTH!" "WE WON'T STAND FOR THIS!" shouted out everyone, displeased by Strelitzia's answer towards Ansem's judgement, as the judge begins to speak up, saying the words: "...I must say, my dear Strelitzia, you have certainly shown us depth within your words but that's all they are, mere words, they have no substance or sustenance, they do not truly mean anything to the people here, why would they? as for your judgement upon Ansem, i must say...we are disappointed, VERY, disappointed, now it seems you have denied the throne for little Lowia to take up within the future, it seems we must find someone else to rule our people, someone that is not of the royal bloodline sadly but anyways, digressing...for siding with Ansem, you have chosen for yourself...DEATH! DEATH TO THOSE AND ALL WHO SIDE WITH YOU ON ANSEM'S SIDE! DO THE PEOPLE NOT AGREE!?" "HERE!" "DO WE NOT DESERVE JUSTICE!? ARE WE NOT THE PEOPLE THAT ANSEM "PROCLAIMED" THAT HE SWORE HE WOULD PROTECT!? HAS HE INSTEAD FAILED US AND TAKEN AWAY FROM US OUR LOVED ONES!?" "HERE!" This angered Ansem greatly upon discovering what they had planned to do with Lowia, the people shouted out in unison: "HERE HERE! HERE HERE!" "Ansem the "Wise"! here! you...shall...DI-!? GEEEH!?!?" suddenly the judge went quiet, as all of the royal council members that were corrupt politicians, snickering and sneering at Ansem's death saw who then next arrived on the seat of the podium, going pale blue, as pale blue can get, for now arriving on the scene was a very unexpected visitor of all people...it was...Egas, the royal adviser to former king Caim who Ansem used his name, as his secret identity to enter the city of Hollow Bastion, Egas was all in all technically the overall 2nd in command to Caim himself and that just like Ansem had tutored Klein, it was Egas who tutored Caim during their younger years...Egas arrived on the scene with Strelitzia saying to the both great and grand elder, as Ansem looked on in shock: "Welcome back home, wise elder one." said Strelitzia, Egas raised his hand, took Strelitzia's and kissed it, saying to her the words in reply: "No my dear Strelitzia, it is i who should thank you, thank you again, for summoning me, this, is a matter...that cannot and WILL NOT be ignored by me!" said Egas, eyeballing all the members of the royal council, causing them to fear Egas greatly, as the wise elder replied towards Ansem, meeting him for the very 1st time: "...It is, Ansem, is it not? Ansem Hart...you used to work for the old company that supported the city called ENCOM, did you not?" said Egas, Ansem was struggling to phrase his words properly in front of the great man, saying to him: "Y-Yes, lord Egas..." said Ansem, Egas started to laugh whilst stroking his long white beard, patting Ansem on the head and saying to him: "Now now, don't get anxious around me, trust me, i am on your side, i know...i know everything, including what the royal council which I had created has been plotting!" said Egas, pointing towards the royal council, as they sat in their seats up above the judge's below, previously acting all high and mighty, Egas reveals the truth of why he is here: "...My dear citizens of Hollow Bastion...although you have been shameful in your appearances during this court, just know now...that it wasn't entirely your fault, unfortunately, my apprentices...the royal council and the judge, have all been deceiving you! using you all for their own manipulative ends..." said Egas, the people started to mumble among themselves, wondering what Egas could possibly mean, Egas whilst waiting for everyone to calm down and get their acts together gently rubbed the sleeping Lowia's head, as he had then revealed the sinister truth behind the royal council, he told everyone the words: "...My people, citizens of Hollow Bastion...you have been, deceived! deceived, by the very "royal" council that was suppose to support the king, to support the prince, to support lady Strelitzia and her daughter Lowia, to support all friends and people of the kingdom of Hollow Bastion itself! for you see, they have been using the scholar Ansem here's research, the research into Darkness...to satisfy their very own warped and twisted evil ends!" said Egas, shocking everyone greatly, as Strelitzia remained calm whilst Ansem listened on, both flabbergasted but honestly, most of all, especially...horrified, to have learned that the council that is supposed to be protecting the kingdom was using his research into the Darkness of the Human Heart to help satisfy their own selfish agendas, Egas proceeded to reveal more of the shocking truth: "...I am, ashamed and guilt ridden, i looked at them, as though, they were my own children but instead, they had betrayed me and were using knowledge that didn't belong to them to tamper with the Hearts of everyone here, for you see, my people, me and my apprentices, as you may or may not remember were once loyal wizards to king Caim Bastion, my dear friend before he had decided to withhold the practicing and teachings of magic and instead form all of the wizards into his trusted royal council, fearing that there were those among my children that would grow ambitious and power hungry, attempting to seize power for themselves by stealing the throne from the king once the time was right and sadly, my friend, his instincts...turned out to be true but even more saddening...is that, not only one of my children would try to usurp the throne but instead, ALL of my children! they had become blinded by the Darkness within their Hearts and that Darkness has corrupted them and would have nearly corrupted everyone here, as well, had i not used my Light based magic to restore your Memories, your "Lost Memories" back into "True Memories", observe! the man in the back row!" said Egas, as everyone looked around in the back rows to see who was Egas talking about, only for a young man to raise his hand into the air and reveal himself, saying to everyone the words: "Its-its true, my dear fellows! the council...THE COUNCIL HAS BETRAYED US! THEY HAVE ENLISTED THE JUDGE TO DO THEIR DIRTY WORK AND SENTENCE ANSEM TO DEATH! they intended to use him, as a scapegoat and then after his death, they had planned to murder Strelitzia and take away Lowia so that a successor from the royal bloodline would not succeed the royal throne! their promise of the monarchy being restored one day was all a lie! a big fat lie! our most trusted advisers...THEY HAVE BETRAYED US!" said the young man, everyone, especially including Ansem were all shocked to hear this outraged turn of events, Egas then explained how they rigged the trial: "Although they are my most highly trained apprentices skilled in the arts, they had never dabbled with Darkness before and were afraid that it would consume their whole beings if they were to try and use that to further their plans and then it was my scholar friend here whose research came to "Light", they found out about how he has been studying a living being's beating Heart and how both Light and Darkness are born within, they looked within the Dark sections and had learned all they needed to know about how to corrupt a Heart, filling the stands before both the trial began and the people had arrived here, they spread powder mixed with Darkness according to Ansem's research and upon breathing the air, would everyone take in the Dark, foul, putrid air and that would intensify the already negative feelings that people were holding for Ansem due to his part in both prince Klein and king Caim's deaths, as well, as the deaths of the scientists that many here held strongly deep within their Hearts and had loved with all of their Hearts, your emotions...your true feelings of the Heart both in and of itself...my apprentices...THEY HAD TOYED WITH YOUR INNOCENT HEARTS, AS THOUGH THEY WERE MERE BOTTLES ON SHELVES AND ALSO, THEY HAD THE GALL TO USE MY FRIEND, KING CAIM'S DAUGHTER IN LAW, PRINCE KLEIN'S WIFE STRELITZIA AND THEIR DAUGHTER LOWIA, AS WELL, AS THE DEATHS OF THE SCIENTISTS WORKING TO HELP BETTER OUR COMMUNITY AND NOT TO MENTION, ABOVE EVERYONE ELSE...the man who was so very dedicated the most in wanting to help our people with his research, the man that cared about his friends so very much that he cast himself into exile and was willing to die in repentance for what he believed was the greatest and most ultimate sin of all, the very same man that is on trial here, the man named Ansem...THEY HAD PLANNED TO USE HIS RESEARCH FOR THEIR VERY OWN POWER MAD ENDS AND WERE EVEN PLANNING TO WRITE HIM OFF, AS A SCAPEGOAT, TO FUEL YOUR HATREDS AND DARKNESSES SO THAT IT WOULD MAKE IT FURTHER EASY TO MANIPULATE YOU ALL AND GAIN YOUR TRUST SO VERY QUICKLY, ONCE AFTER ANSEM WAS EXECUTED, THEY INTENDED TO DECLARE A DICTATORSHIP UPON OUR FAIR WORLD OF HOLLOW BASTION! TAXES! EXTORTIONS! AMONG OTHER REPREHENSIBLE CRIMES AND THEY WOULD PLAN TO THREATEN THOSE WHO WOULD GO AGAINST THEM BY SUMMONING THE HEARTLESS BEING THAT HAD STOLEN THE HEARTS OF OUR DEARLY BELOVED! SAYING THAT IF WE DID NOT FOLLOW THEIR EXAMPLE OF WHAT THEY CALL A PURE AND BRIGHT LIGHT WOULD THE MONSTER RETURN AND THREATEN US ALL, EVEN LONG AFTER ANSEM'S DEATH! ...so many deaths...so many Hearts lost...Caim's...prince Klein's...the scientists'...Strelitzia's...Ansem's...and now, not only their Hearts but the Hearts of ALL our people...IS THIS NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU!? MY APPRENTICES!?!? i say to you now...NO-MORE...LIGHT! I WILL BIND YOU IN THESE THREADS OF LIGHT AND SHOW THE DEMONS EMITTING FROM YOUR HEARTS, FOR ALL TO SEE!!!!" shouted out Egas lastly, as finally, he stomped his staff into the ground and from it, he created golden thread bindings made of Light and had used them to ensnare both the judge and Egas' corrupted five apprentices that make up the royal council and from the magical powers of these threads, did the Light within them show-cast great, mighty, powerful and especially Dark shadows both behind and above the judge and the royal council, very shockingly and especially very horrifying what everyone saw, Ansem most of all...were the shadows wriggling and it was then, that a second later, these shadows' true forms were shown, they were the exact same forms, as the Heartless that had ruined everything that one day a year ago! Ansem...could say naught a word, as he looked on, deep into the shadows' glowing yellow eyes and could see nothing except malice and Darkness of the worst kinds if not the very worst, Egas, sadly now knew, that his apprentices, although still in Human form were slowly but very surely turning into Heartless beings themselves, they had given in their Hearts...to Darkness. " ...Coming your way Noct! " ...Leaving this all up to you Noct! " ...Don't get careless Noct! " ...Yeah, i know guys, i know... " ...Prompto...Ignis...Gladiolus... " ...Guys, i'm...i'm sorry... " "GUAH!?!?" suddenly, like a fly on a windshield, something crashes into the Gummi Ship on its way towards Olympus Coliseum, Sora, Donald and Goofy are both befuddled and dumbfounded, as to what appeared on the front window of the Gummi Ship and WHAT do they find? ...a black haired young man sticking his tongue on the windscreen whilst in agony, Sora says upon this sort of predicament the words: "...Uh...well, that's new, huh guys?" said Sora with both Donald and Goofy nodding their heads in union. suddenly, the following words appear in Caps Lock onscreen: ...FINAL FANTASY XV... ...X KINGDOM HEARTS III Prologus... ...Numen Astrum Quaero... in turn followed by a message in smaller letters: "The Divine Star Search...begins." afterwards, a trailer plays that says: "Noctis, Lucis, Caelum, the true king of kings, has entered our World and during his time here, must he find his way back to his own, aiding him are Sora, Donald and Goofy, upon meeting each other do they team up with one another after hearing Noctis' story, Sora and co, not finding it within themselves to simply abandon their new friend, decide to help the one true king get back to his own World and not too far away from the Gummi Ship, do they spot an entirely new World, seemingly populated with life, hoping that this is the World Noctis comes from, the four travel there with vim and vigor, as Noctis is all to eager to return back to his friends, his family, his...but then, upon arriving..." game-play bits are then shown of Sora, Donald and Goofy fighting alongside Noct on his home-world of Eos against Heartless that resemble the local variety of the monsters that live in Noct's World that he normally combats against during his adventure in Final Fantasy XV, cutscenes are then shown with Sora and the others meeting Noct's companions, however... Prompto: "Huh? who's Noct? i don't know anyone by that name." Noctis: "H-Huh!? your joking, right Prompto? if so, this isn't funny! come on man, don't you remember me-" Gladiolus: "Hey, ease up on the kid, otherwise, i might have to get ruff with you." Noctis: "Gladio not you too! oi! Iggy! say something!" Ignis: "Iggy? i sure hope you are not referring to me of all people." Noctis: "Why wouldn't why!? your Iggy! Ignis Stupeo Scientia!" Ignis: "!? Where did you hear that name from!? are you--" ???: "Come, come now, calm down young Ignis, its clear to me that the boy has heard of you and has done his research, he is merely, an enthusiastic fan, is all, hehe." YOU'RE--" just then, appearing out of the Regalia, the royal car for the royal bloodline of Lucis and those belonging to it is none other...then Ardyn Izunia! who Prompto, Gladiolus and Ignis all bow down to, with the latter lastly saying the words: "Of course, your majesty..." said Ignis, greatly shocking and especially horrifying Noctis, as Sora, Donald and Goofy look on, dumbfounded by the turn of events, more game-play bits are shown, including a two man combo involving both Sora and Noctis working together, fighting against all of the Heartless surrounding them, they are then seen running through the giant wild-lands of Eos surrounding the barren area located near the garage pit stop Hammerhead, as another cutscene is shown: Noctis: "Let me guess, Cindy, you don't remember me either..." Cindy: "Hmm...nope, can't say that i do, although, you look real cute for a handsome cutie pie like yourself." Noctis blushes a bit with Sora playfully elbowing him in the rib, as Noct tries to get Sora to knock it off, leaving both Donald and Goofy to simply laugh happily at the turn of events, Cindy next replies with the following words, offering Noctis a bit of advice: "I wouldn't worry too much though, things that usually get lost always come running back in the end, am i right? or am i right?" said Cindy, as she gives a playful wink, Noctis looking bashful, as Sora listens on before beating on his chest with his fist, saying in reply towards Cindy's comment: Sora: "Uh-huh! you got it! even when we lose some of our most precious and cherished Memories, in the end, they will always come back, so long, as we remember them, right Noct?" said Sora, Noctis was surprised by Sora's comment before pausing for a moment and then nodding his head in agreement, saying towards Sora: "...Yeah, your right, Sora, thanks..." the last few bits of game-play are shown, showing Sora wielding a Keyblade based on the shape of Noctis' Engine Blade with the Regalia, as its Keychain, using this Keyblade, Sora performs attacks similar and identical to that of Noctis' teleportation techniques until finally, he transforms his Keyblade into a invisible like crystal clear sword surrounded by 12 other weapons of different kinds that he ultimately unleashes devastating combos upon a giant Heartless with modeled after the FFXV version of Leviathan, having flooded the entire area in surrounding water, the last cutscene is shown with Sora being confronted by Ardyn, saying to the former: Ardyn: "So, you wish to help the hapless king return to his dirtied throne of emptiness? you are best finding yourself a new friend, my dear boy." Sora: "Shut up! Noct's my friend! i'll never abandon him! he would never abandon and forget us so why would we forget him? your a liar and a phony! give Noct's friends their Hearts back!" ???: "...But what if they don't want their Hearts back? what if, they are simply, better off?" Sora turns around to see a man in a Black Coat, the trailer ends there with the title: Final Fantasy XV X Kingdom Hearts III Prologus: Numen Astrum Quaero. followed by a tagline: "Hunting for Memories...is never easy." a last bit of footage shows Sora, Donald and Goofy driving alongside Noct in his Regalia around the wastelands surrounding Hammerhead with the king of kings at the helm of his proud and mighty majestic vehicle's steering wheel. Sora lastly says onscreen: "Hey hey! Noct! can i drive yet!?" said Sora with Noctis lastly replying with the words: "Umm...you don't have a license yet, do you?" the trailer ends. Yen Sid is about to speak to Riku on what must be done next to continue walking the Road to Dawn and help restore the Chain of Memories of Sora's Heart, Yen Sid reveals to Riku that although he has lost the right of the title of the Keyblade wielder of the Realm of Light, Riku still possesses the power to wield a Keyblade, this shocks Riku a little, as he thought that when Sora obtained Riku's Keyblade when the latter fell into Darkness did he lose the power to wield the Keyblade for good, however, this is not the case, Yen Sid reveals that because not only does Riku possess a strong Heart but is now starting to gain control of the Darkness within him, very slowly but surely is the Keyblade's power returning to him and that once Riku has fully gained control of the Darkness within him at last will his Keyblade completely manifest finally and it will take on the both form and shape of Riku's powers by then which Yen Sid does not know how the transformation process will turn out for unlike every other being that has wielded Darkness in their entire lifetimes that Yen Sid has ever known, Riku is a different case entirely, unlike mentioned Keyblade wielders that Yen Sid speaks about more or less that lost themselves to Darkness and in turn had lost the Keyblade, unlike them, Riku has been going through a stage of transformation so to be speak in a way, first, he gave into the Darkness and had lost the Keyblade but now, he is confronting the Darkness that is trying to take control of Riku, battling it at every single turn and little by little, fragments of Light are starting to appear within Riku's Heart and from those fragments, is the Keyblade's power being reborn inside of Riku, instead of regaining his old Keyblade from Sora, he's forging, as a term of speaking an all brand new one, one that will be modeled after the future Riku once he has mastered his Darkness, Yen Sid reveals that just before arriving at the mysterious tower, he could sense that a new fragment of Light had appeared within the World and that he could sense it emitting from Riku, as to why, he cannot say, Riku remains silent until suddenly, a visual image of Olette appears inside his mind and he smiles at this, discovering and believing that the new fragment of Light born within his Heart was thanks to Olette, of how she encouraged and spurred on Riku despite their just meeting one another and their very short time together spent with each other, as Riku chuckles at this slightly and Yen Sid smiles, sensing that Riku has realized how the new fragment of Light came into existence, it is then that Yen Sid informs more of Riku's growing new Keyblade powers, he reveals that although his weapon, the sword Soul Eater is a weapon of Darkness and that it was crafted using that very same Darkness that molds it, it can be used, as a template to forge Riku's new Keyblade into physical matter, Yen Sid explains that just, as much Light attracts Darkness, Darkness too in turn attracts Light and that by using this connection, Riku can summon forth a brand new weapon, one of his very own making that neither belongs to both the Light or the Dark and yet still exists in-between in both, a Keyblade from the Realm of Light but with the powers of Darkness, a Keyblade...of Twilight, as Yen so calls it, it is then upon hearing Yen Sid's words that Riku recalls what he had said to Olette just before they said their respective goodbyes: "I'll return...to the Light of Twilight." Although Riku had meant many different things when he said that to Olette entirely, he never would have guessed nor could believe that this could be a work of karma and that now, things were supposedly looking up for Riku, after a long while of torment and fighting the Darkness, Riku believes that now, finally, he can achieve the redemption he is aiming for and especially help Sora, by creating the new Keyblade Riku is building inside of his Heart and with it, Light the way down towards the Road to Dawn, however, Riku knows also not to be hasty and that there was more Yen Sid had to say to Riku about creating his new Keyblade, Yen Sid says to Riku that the manifestation of the Seeker of Darkness still lurks buried deep inside of Riku and, as long, as the Seeker's powers try to tempt him into giving into them, Riku will never be rid of the corrupting influence that Darkness holds within, in order to create more fragments of Light and forge the new Keyblade, Riku must first rid himself of that which stands in the way of the Road to Dawn, namely, the Dark Mode, the representation of the powers given to Riku by the Seeker of Darkness during the time he fought Sora and his friends at Hollow Bastion, the Dark Mode makes up a part if not a whole of the Seeker's complete hold over Riku and you see, once Riku has learned to unlearn the Dark Mode will this make it more one step at a time easier into walking down Riku's chosen path, to forge the Keyblade of Twilight, Yen Sid informs Riku that he must learn to balance Darkness, keeping the Darkness that is non corrupting and getting rid of the corruptible elements of the Dark, that is one of Riku's new tasks on his journey, although this is a journey that Riku must eventually make on his own, it will not hurt having helping guidance at the beginning of his quest, as just then, appearing on the scene was Mickey, having finished changed, Yen Sid recognizes Mickey's outfit and the latter reveals that it is the treaty outfit he used to wear when visiting a certain old friend of his from another World, Riku wonders, as to who the king's friend might be since king Mickey mentioned his outfit was a treaty outfit after all, meaning, that means Mickey came into contact with the ruler of another World with the idea of peace in mind but digressing, Riku and Mickey both stood tall before master Yen Sid, as he was now about to assign to them their mission. Receiving word from the stars, Yen Sid reveals that he knows it will take about a year's time at best for Sora to completely recover, during this time, the Organization will try to hunt down Sora and prevent him from awaking, knowing that he will most certainly interfere with their plans and thus, it is up to both Riku and the king to keep Sora, Donald and Goofy safe out of the enemy's hands until it has come for the time of their awakening and when they do awaken, by that time, everything shall be prepared and Riku and Mickey alongside their friends will finally be able to strike back against Organization XIII and their Nobodies, for now, it is best to avoid contact with them but at the very same time, Riku and Mickey must always keep their eyes and ears on the lookout for the Organization's members, they will never know if the Organization may very well possibly be spying on them and thus, to return them that favour, Riku and Mickey will be doing snooping around first before they can, here is what Riku and Mickey must do first before anything else, it has been reported that Organization XIII has been spotted at Hollow Bastion, although the castle and the city are now back in the control of the people, led by Leon and his friends, the city's defenses against the forces of Darkness is still pretty weakened, Leon and everyone else are doing all they can to keep up defending the town from the occasional local Heartless attacks but, because they are so few in number despite the strength in the small numbers that they have, Organization XIII may decide to attack Hollow Bastion and take the World for themselves, just like Maleficent did years prior when the World first fell into Darkness, Riku and Mickey's first mission is, as follows, they must go to Hollow Bastion, find out what they can and especially help Leon and the others, if they see a member of the Organization, they must not confront unless provoked, afterwards, they must decide then if they will split up or travel together across other Worlds, researching up on the Organization's activities, Worlds namely with Nobodies spotted within them, Yen Sid says to both Riku and the Mouse King the words: "May your Heart be your guiding Key." As Yen Sid places his hand upon his Heart, Mickey doing the same and returning Yen Sid's words: "May your Heart be your guiding Key." said Mickey, Riku was a bit confused by what the phrase meant both in and of itself but nevertheless, he and the king were now off, setting forth on their quest together, to combat Organization XIII and keep Sora safe out of harm's way from their evil clutches, to start off their adventure, they first leave the mysterious tower... Mickey proclaims that both he and Riku sure have their work cut out for them but that it is no good worrying about it, as for only worrying will make things dull and when dull things happen, the mood goes sour, Riku laughs a little upon hearing Mickey's words, realizing Mickey was trying to go somewhere with his words, only to fail and jumble them up instead, it is just then, however...Riku sees Mickey caught in stopped motion speaking, he sees that all around time has frozen and that appearing before Riku was none other then Jet! Jet said to Riku the words: "So, now you know about your new Keyblade, hmph! like that's going to do you any good, you should just stick with what you already have and use it to the best of your ability, only then can you-WHOA!?" suddenly, Jet was interrupted, as Riku summoned the Soul Eater and tried to attack Jet with it, Jet comically reacts in hysteria, saying to Riku: "Whoa! whoa! WHOOAAA!!! are you krazy man!? you could have chopped my head off then and there! seriously, you have anger management issues! ..." said Jet, Riku replied: "Turn everything back to the way it was, right now! i won't miss a second time." said Riku with confidence, however, Jet rebuked this, saying towards Riku: "Ha! yeah-right! you think your so high and mighty now just because you know that your getting a Keyblade for your birthday, well, guess what? sorry to break it to you, but...I'M NOT GOING TO LEAVE YOU THAT EASILY!!!!" shouted out Jet, just then, he shockingly summoned a variation of Riku's Soul Eater sword and proceeded to fight against him with it, thus their battle began. Jet began the battle by doing a jump back-flip towards the stair entrance of the mysterious tower, he charges up a Dark Fire Orb attack and shoots it from the tip of his sword straight at Riku, Riku manages to dodge and uses Slide Roll against Jet, he hits Jet a few times with a barrage of small leveled attacks before an invisible force prevented Riku from continuing his full on frontal assault, it was then that Jet used an unavoidable Zantetsuken attack on Riku, dropping his HP to 1 point exactly, Riku was getting greatly fatigued at this point and found himself starting to give into Darkness yet again, during the fight, Jet taunts Riku, saying to him the words: "That's right! use it! use the Dark! COME AT ME!" shouted Jet, Riku was trying to not let his emotions get the better of him and hold the Darkness in check, Jet proceeded to teleport all around Riku, shooting smaller versions of his Dark Fire Orb attack straight at him, although still at 1 HP point exactly, Riku wasn't instantly defeated like he normally should be and instead, he performed a aerial recovery to catch his balance, Riku used a normal Fire attack against Jet, knocking him back, Riku followed this with a normal Thunder attack that paralysed Jet for just a moment, allowing Riku to hit him with a normal Blizzard attack aimed at point blank range, the attack froze Jet and Riku had used this chance to perform Cure on himself, afterwards, Jet broke free of his icy shell and had then said towards Riku: "Giving up already? come on! i thought YOU were stronger then that!" said Jet, it was then that a cinematic moment themed battle took place between both him and Riku, Jet started off by using his Zantetsuken technique again, however, this time, Riku had copied him, they both used the very same technique one after another, always missing each other until finally, they both collided into one another left and right, Riku on the left and Jet on the right, it was then that a reaction command button sequence had then appeared and Riku had to press enough times in order to knock Jet fully back and knock his weapon straight out of his hands, thus winning the battle soon afterwards with a few small barrage attacks again, as Jet lastly said towards Riku at the end of the fight: "Heh, your good..." said Jet, the battle had ended and a huge Light enveloped the whole screen, as the battle ended Riku performed a victory pose and saw that Jet was sinking into Darkness swallowing him up from within the ground, Riku tried to save Jet but to no avail, as Jet lastly mocks Riku before disappearing, saying to him the words: "At this rate, you'll NEVER defeat Ansem, NEVER..." said Jet and with that, he completely disappears into Darkness below, Riku both powerless and helpless to have saved him, it was then that the time flow restored back to normal just before Mickey had started speaking, however, shockingly, before Mickey could have a chance to even speak at all, Riku felt his Heart aching and his knees had dropped to the floor, Mickey tried to help Riku up and ask him what was wrong but he replied that it was nothing, nothing, at all...although, Mickey knew that Riku was lying and although he thought to himself to take Riku back inside the tower to have Yen Sid check up on Riku, knowing how stubborn the white haired youth is, Mickey decided against it begrudgingly, waiting for Riku to recover instead and until it was time for his call to head out once the Heart aching had stopped, Riku inside felt his Heart ache and had wondered to himself what was this sensation he was feeling inside of his Heart? to him, it smelt foul, putrid, it smelt exactly...like the Darkness of Ansem that had once possessed Riku, even though Riku had locked away Ansem in a corner of Riku's Heart, how come Riku was feeling this? how come he was feeling...Ansem's presence once more? was it because of his younger look a like that Riku had just faced a moment ago? no...Riku felt that wasn't the case but rather it was something else if not entirely, Riku recalls what he had said to himself before arriving at the mysterious tower, only now in Ansem's voice, saying: "Everything fades...into black..." said Ansem's voice, Riku back in reality had then realized, even though there were small shards of Light forming within his Heart, the fact of the matter was that his Darkness was still ever present and ever larger then the Light within and until Riku has learned over time to fight and finally defeat the Darkness, Ansem's Darkness, for good, it would still haunt him and so now, before even thinking of obtaining the Keyblade of Twilight, Riku must first learn to balance both the Darkness and the Light within his Heart, in order to form true Twilight itself... After a small time of recuperating, Riku finally felt the Heart ache stop and both he and Mickey proceeded to head onward, the method of transportation being a Gummi Ship Mickey has secretly been keeping by his side called the "S.S Minnie", showing that he still thinks of his beloved queen elsewhere, Riku was happy at this thought, as he then recalled visual images of both Sora and Kairi inside his mind and of the time that he spent with them, just once more...just one more time, does Riku wish to be with his friends again. Elsewhere, Namine and DiZ are seen working on recovering Sora's Memories and have recovered at least 5% percent of them, they were the Memories of the spars Sora used to have with the other islanders his age, Tidus, Wakka and Selphie. Yeah, Radiance is born reveals how Radiant Garden got its name, also, i still plan to shock you with Klein's true identity, here is the new chapter :], ahem: The people were all shocked to see their fair lady Strelitzia take to the standing but none more so then both Ansem and the judge, especially the former, the latter says to Strelitzia: "Q-Queen Strelitzia! what are you doing here!? what are you-!?" just then however, Strelitzia raised one finger up and said to the judge the words: "Shush! i am NOT your queen, nor am i your fair lady, i am none of those things, i am merely myself, no more, no less, i was born with the name Strelitzia and that is all, i do not possess some grand title or some other, i am just me and that is all." said Strelitzia to the judge, as the people within the stands around the center began to converse among themselves, the judge then replied towards Strelitzia: "Y-Yes but, lady-i-i mean, Strelitzia...this man, this-this monster! he has RUINED all of our lives!! including yours!!! all for the sake of his taboo and demonic research! please! Strelitzia! with your blessing, i can finally put an end to the accursed demon standing here on trial, no more, no more will the people and especially their children, yours included Strelitzia, your daughter, the princess Lowia, no longer will she have nightmares of the monster told to her in her bedtime stories! finally! we can-" "SHUT UP! SHUT-UP!!!!" shouted out Strelitzia from the top of her very lungs, in turn from the bottom of her very Heart, causing everyone to be both scared and terrified by Strelitzia, especially the judge who is taken aback and falls off his pedestal, he gets back up and Strelitzia begins to calm down first by breathing before moving towards Ansem with the guards forming a defensive X stance with their pole-arms between the two, trying to advise Strelitzia to stay away from Ansem but to no avail, as she forces their weapons away and goes up to Ansem, she says to him: "...Hello Ansem, long time no see." said Strelitzia, as Ansem replied: "S-S-Strelitzia, why? ..." said Ansem, Strelitzia quietly and happily tells Ansem to shush before nodding her head to someone in the background, as that person in the background then appears, shockingly revealing carrying Lowia, Strelitzia and Klein's baby daughter, it was a handmaiden that was personally assigned to Strelitzia by the royal council and, as told by her mistress, the handmaiden passes Lowia to Strelitzia who holds her precious flower, as Strelitzia calls her within her arms and shows her to Ansem, saying to the man on trial: "Look, Lowia, this is him, this-is your godfather." Ansem was not just shocked upon hearing what Strelitzia had just said, it was though his life had ended for a moment only to come back alive in that exact moment, everyone also heard what Strelitzia said, especially the judge, mortified by what he had just heard, as Ansem in shock says to Strelitzia the words: "S-STRELITZIA! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?!?" shouted Ansem before Strelitzia tells him to shush, replying to him: "What? did you go tone-deaf Ansem? hehe, you heard me, i said-" said Strelitzia, as Ansem finished her sentence: "Godfather...i'm-" said Ansem, Strelitzia once again replies: "That's right, godfather." said Strelitzia, suddenly, Lowia had opened her eyes and upon seeing Ansem, she started to giggle and coo, she playfully pulled on Ansem's beard albeit causing him to hurt a little but Ansem didn't mind, for, as soon, as he looked into Lowia's eyes, it was though for a moment and a moment only that all the hatred, all the Darkness, the torment, the suffering, pain, anguish, everything that Ansem suffered from...simply, in that one single moment...had vanished, Ansem...was seen smiling, as tears of joy ran down his face and he could not stop them even if he wanted to, through Lowia, Ansem was reminded of all the happy times that he, Strelitzia and Klein had all shared together and that for the very 1st time in a very long, long time...Ansem had started smiling and from that smile, Light was beaming forth from his Heart, if only a little, nevertheless, Ansem felt something, he felt, as although, he had gotten his life back but then remembering the realization of the current reality, he proceeded to ask Strelitzia why, only to be stopped, as she reveals to Ansem a truth that he has never known: "...I never blamed you, you know? for what happened, for Klein's death...its true, i lost the man that i loved that day a year ago but even so, i knew, i knew...that it wasn't your fault Ansem, if anything...it was mine." said Strelitzia, Ansem was horrified by her saying this, saying to her himself: "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING STRELITZIA!? I WAS THE ONE! IT WAS ME! BECAUSE OF ME! KLEIN-" just then, Lowia started crying before Strelitzia cradled her and started singing a lullaby to her, she says to Ansem after managing to calm Lowia down: "No Ansem, it wasn't your fault, if anything, it was mine and i won't say "that it was my fault for listening to you in the first place", that's not the truth of it Ansem...we were all to blame that day, its a shared responsibility, i share my half of the blame and you have been sharing your blame for what you believed was your part in everything, what you believed technically was everything and Klein, he too was to blame for his own part, as well, although he was nicknamed "Brain", he sure wasn't really thinking with it that day huh...Ansem, i know what your going to say next, that "You shouldn't speak of your husband like that, it was all my fault, because of me, you lost everything, even your daughter here" but to be perfectly honest Ansem, what happened that day, it was all of our fault because do you know why? because, we all shared hubris and Darkness that day, even hubris in Darkness, as well you could say, on that day, when you made the experiment to study the unusual Light within my Heart, i have to tell you both honestly and sincerely, my Heart, back then, it too was caught up in Darkness, just like everyone else, despite supposedly possessing a Heart that is suppose to have no Darkness whatsoever in it and only Light itself, i could tell...i could feel it, that my Heart, was emitting Darkness from it and it was through that Dark, that the being from the shadows appeared and stole everyone's Hearts, it went after everyone who was specifically emitting Darkness from within their Hearts, Ansem, that day, i counted all of us included in the experiment and there was no mistaking it...it was us, ALL, of us, we all summoned and brought forth the Heartless and by doing so, innocents were lost to its Darkness, among them Klein, i guess Ansem you could say, after all the research that you have been doing up to now that even with a Heart of pure Light that both me and now Lowia supposedly have...Darkness is the true essence of the Heart, correct? so that means...everything...even back when i was working, as your assistant, all of it, all of the blood, sweat and tears we poured into research, ultimately, the research itself...none of it meant a thing and in the very end, Darkness took our Hearts and stole from us what we held most precious to us, for me it was Klein, as my husband, Lowia who wasn't born yet lost Klein, her father that she will never know and you Ansem, you lost your hope in things, in life and of the Heart, the fellow scientists...we have all, each and every single one of us have lost that part of us that is irreplaceable and can never, EVER be replaced, in the end, Darkness had won...but you know what Ansem? to be honest, i haven't given up fighting, i haven't given up fighting for the Light in not just mine but the Light within everybody else's Hearts, i'm still fighting, fighting so that one day, the Darkness will be defeated and when that day finally comes, it will give back what it stole from us within the warm Light that we all bathe in in the rays of the sun everyday, even if we grow old by that point and they haven't, still, i will never admit defeat and i pray that one day, Klein will come back to me, to Lowia, to you and to everyone else, not just Klein but everyone else who was lost that day, we must fight for the Darkness that keeps our Light in check, only then will we defeat that Darkness finally and reclaim the Light that i speak of it stole from us, our Hearts will guide us, they will be the Key, remember what we first said to each other before beginning our work together Ansem? it was-" "May our Hearts be our guiding Key." "May our Hearts be our guiding Key..." said both Strelitzia and Ansem in unison respectively, as Strelitzia lastly says to Ansem the words: "...Ansem...never give up hope, never give up on your dreams, your wishes, for the future of Hollow Bastion, continue your research so that the Light, may it have a fighting chance, let us fight together once more, for ourselves and for Klein's sake, heh, that Brainiac, honestly, i can still picture him wearing that hat of his, the very 1st time that we met and you know, like i said before, if he returns, no, WHEN he returns after we save him from the Darkness, i may be an old lady by then and he will still be a young man but you know what? i'll still be happy either way, knowing that i got my "Brain" back and even if he doesn't want to be with me, as an old woman, i'll accept that for i can only pray in my Heart that we will be reunited at least and that's all that i can ever hope and/or ask for, for that is what Light truly is in a sense, pray, hope, all the things that make us Humans endure and strive to go on living and eventually find happiness along the way BECAUSE we endured so very much after so very long, Light...cannot be fully described, only that it can be found deep within and that is what makes a Heart, your Heart, my Heart, all of our Hearts...we all have Light, just, as much, as we have Darkness but both go in tandem one after the other, whether be the Darkness first or second or the Light vice versa, either way, as long, as we hold true to our prayers and never give up on our hopes, Light will be easy to find and our Hearts, our Hearts will be lit shine, shining so bright, that a garden full of flowers, of all kinds of flowers will bloom in beauty, kindness and what makes up both beauty and kindness? radiance, radiance is the word i would use to describe what Light is within a person's Heart when it is full of aspirations, dreams and wishes for the future both far away and near to us, it is the word i will use now to describe both your research Ansem and how you feel about it, so don't give up, never give up, let your research shine and bring forth a Light no one in all of Hollow Bastion has ever seen before, let radiance fill the garden that is the kingdom and let it be known, that our Light, the people, the children are here, we are all here, speaking and singing out our Light, let Darkness know...Radiance, is born..." said Strelitzia, as she looked at her beloved daughter Lowia sleeping quietly and calmly within her arms, as suddenly, Ansem upon hearing Strelitzia's words gets an idea running through his head, he lastly thinks to himself the words: "...Radiance...garden...a Radiant, Garden..." thought Ansem, as with that single thought alone, he would pave out the future for what would become the foundation of the future Hollow Bastion...the Radiant Garden. "Everything fades...into black..." these were the words Riku said whilst riding on the train leading to the mysterious tower with king Mickey and it would be here that Riku would meet with the king's mentor Yen Sid about what it is both Riku and Mickey must do next in order to secure safety for the Realm of Light from the forces of Darkness, yes...it would be here, that the next chapter in Riku's story, Riku's Reverse/Rebirth...would begin. Verse III: Nobodies, at all... Arriving at the mysterious tower, Riku and Mickey board off the train to see it disappear behind them, as Riku unveils his Black Coat's hood to see both the train magically vanish into thin air and the splendor that is the mysterious tower right in front of him, Mickey then reveals to Riku that it was here that Mickey's journey had first begun, over a decade ago, he sensed that the Worlds were in danger from the forces of Darkness and thus, without his master's permission, Mickey set off on a quest across the Worlds, trying to save them from Darkness, Mickey summons his Keyblade Star Seeker and whilst looking at it, he reflects on past Memories, as Riku ponders what is Mickey reflecting on, Mickey decides to dis-summon the Star Seeker and tell Riku that they must press on if they want to meet the master, just then, a giant Heartless Darkside appears in front of the tower, trying to grab it and bring it come crushing down, in order to protect the tower, Riku and Mickey summon their respective weapons and begin to fight the Darkside, all the while fighting the Heartless Shadows that were emerging around the Darkside, trying to prevent the two heroes from stopping the Darkside destroying the tower, in the end however, Riku and the mouse king emerge victorious, as both the Darkside and all the Shadows are destroyed but in their place appeared countless upon countless of Heartless Neoshadows, just, as they were about to pounce on the fatigued duo, suddenly, clouds opened up within the misty sky surrounding the mysterious tower, shining down a bright column of Light that blinded Riku and had destroyed all of the Neoshadows within an instance, just before one of them could attack both Riku and Mickey, after getting back up upon catching their breaths, Mickey is very glad and happy to tell Riku that this was the work of his master Yen Sid who now knows that the two are here to meet with him and that he is expecting the both of them, Riku is a bit unsure however upon meeting with Yen Sid, wondering if a being of Darkness like him even has the right to meet such a great person? As Riku and Mickey climbed the tower, they eventually had reached Yen Sid's study, where here, Mickey reports to his master in a bowing and respectful manner, Riku following Mickey's example, Yen Sid is seen looking out one of the windows of his study before turning his attention to both Mickey and Riku, Yen Sid silently tells the two to raise their heads with a wave of his hand, as he sits down upon his chair before asking Mickey the status report of what is going within the Worlds, Mickey reveals to Yen Sid that it is just, as he suspected and that the Heartless were stealing the Hearts of the Worlds in order to form Kingdom Hearts so that they could use its Door to Darkness to open up the way to the Realm of Darkness, connecting it to the Realm of Light, thus allowing the Heartless to invade the latter from the former, fortunately, it was thanks to the combined efforts of Mickey's friend Riku here, Mickey's closest friends and vassals Donald and Goofy and the Keyblade wielder of the Realm of Light, Riku's friend Sora that they were able to seal up the door and close Kingdom Hearts, thereby stopping the Heartless from achieving their ultimate objective, Yen Sid nods his head upon hearing all this before beginning to speak to Riku, asking him a question, Riku wonders what Yen Sid is about to ask before the master of the mysterious tower asks Riku if he is the individual that the stars had told Yen Sid was the one who gave his Heart into Darkness previously? Riku is hesitant and ashamed to answer Yen Sid but still nevertheless answers, as he nods his head and says that he is the one who gave into Darkness not too very long ago, Mickey is concerned for Riku and wonders how Yen Sid will treat the situation concerning Riku, Yen Sid is quiet and thinks to himself before revealing to Riku a certain truth that Riku himself already knows, originally, it was Riku who was meant to be the original owner of the Keyblade of the Realm of Light but because Riku had already given into Darkness by then, the Keyblade forsake him and again at Hollow Bastion when Riku's Darkness kept growing stronger, it was only when Riku was possessed by the Seeker of Darkness that Riku had then started to realize the true dangers of tampering with powers belonging to Darkness and thus Yen Sid wonders, has Riku truly learned from his past mistakes? or is his Heart merely covering up those mistakes by walking down a path that Riku believes will give him self redemption if not redemption by the hands of others? Riku cannot answer Yen Sid's question, as he knows naught the answer, Mickey tries to defend Riku saying that he went through a lot trying to combat the Darkness and that it was at a certain castle in the Realm Between that Riku fought the Seeker once more and this time had won victory against him, Yen Sid merely eyeballs Mickey, silencing him, Yen Sid answers Mickey's words by saying that whilst it is true that Riku bested the Seeker of Darkness and this time had prevailed, that still does not excuse Riku of his past actions and that the Dark shadow of both the Seeker and the Darkness overall still lingers behind and above Riku, unless Riku himself can truly come to grips with Darkness, especially even after defeating the Seeker which Yen Sid senses a hesitance within Riku about concerning the Darkness, Riku will never be free of the Dark shadows that haunt him and in the worst case scenario, the Seeker of Darkness will revive, stronger then ever, take over Riku's body once more and send his Heart back to the side of the Realm of Darkness yet again, this time Mickey will not be able to help Riku and even worse, Mickey may even be forced to destroy Riku's body possessed by the Seeker, preventing Riku's Heart from ever again gaining access to and living within the Realm of Light, even though Riku was hearing all of this in front of him and despite clutching a fist against the words, Riku let go of his clutched fist and knew better that Yen Sid was giving Riku sound advice on what to do next and what should happen if Riku were to fail in the next part of his walking the Road to Dawn, Riku acknowledges Yen Sid's advice and thanks the wise master for showing Riku foresight on the path that he walks, Yen Sid is happy to hear Riku's acknowledgement of his situation despite how dire it seems but knows that if Riku continues walking the current path that he is and never giving up on it, Riku will surely one day transform Darkness into Light and that would make Riku a unique existence in and of itself, Mickey merely sighs about how well the talk was just handled, however, Yen Sid has not finished speaking for there is much, much more that he has to reveal to both Riku and Mickey, as this concerns the fate of all Worlds once more... Yen Sid reveals to both Riku and Mickey that whilst indeed due to the effort of them, Donald, Goofy and the boy who is Riku's friend named Sora, the Keyblade wielder of the Realm of Light have the Worlds been saved from the threat of the Heartless, a new threat has already manifested, one that Riku and the king have already encountered back in Twilight Town, they are the Nobodies, the white creatures that the two fought beforehand, they are beings that neither lurk in either Darkness or Light but rather, they are the beings that live in the middle, they are the Twilight, incarnations of both Dusk and Dawn and although they may seem benevolent, they are not, for they have more malicious ideals in mind for the future not too far away from now, during the last crisis when the Heartless attacked the Worlds, the Nobodies were few in number and they were planning for the time when their Dark counterparts, the Heartless would surely meet their ends at both the hands of the two Keyblade wielders of the Realms of both Light and Dark respectively, Sora and king Mickey, now that the Heartless have indeed been vanquished and their masters overthrown from positions both in and of power, the situation is now vice versa, it is the Nobodies that are more in number and the Heartless that are the less fewer...Riku is shocked and horrified to learn of this but Yen Sid still continues to speak, revealing certain truths that Riku and the king must learn about, he reveals that the Nobodies didn't do anything at all during the last crisis was because they were acting in accordance to the wills of their secret masters, those that wear Black Coats to conceal themselves from both Darkness and Light, Yen Sid mentions that Riku has probably met them before, they are the ones that call themselves the Organization, the real full name of their group being called Organization XIII, the number refers to how many people make up the Organization itself, the Organization's members themselves are in actual truth Nobodies that although they look and act exactly like Humans, they...are completely devoid of emotion and they don't have Hearts at all whatsoever, unlike the Heartless that can at least capture Hearts, the Organization and lesser Nobodies do not possess this ability and lament the fact, Organization XIII is desperately trying to hunt down and seek to capture Hearts for their nefarious purposes and they will stop at nothing to achieve their ultimate objectives, even if that means hurting innocent people in the process, this angers Riku greatly which both king Mickey and Yen Sid notice but nevertheless, the latter continues speaking, revealing the origins of the Nobodies, as Riku already knows, the Heartless are beings born from the Darkness within each and every single person's Heart and that upon immediately being created, they obtain an instantaneous and gluttonous hunger that can never, ever be fulfilled and that is to seek out and obtain further Hearts, thus creating more Darkness for more Heartless to be spawned from, however, what both Riku and his friend Sora do not know is that the Heartless are in actual fact, not complete beings, you see, originally the Heartless were once Humans with both Hearts and Bodies, if the Heartless are the half of the Human that gets separated and ends up with the half of the Heart...what about, the half that is the Body? Riku then realizes what Yen Sid is trying to point out, indeed, it is the Nobodies that become the half of the Human that is the Body when a Human either is captured by the Darkness or willingly gives themselves to it, as Riku has more or less seen in the forms of both "Ansem" and Maleficent, one could say that the Nobodies are the "Light and angelic" versions of the more "Dark and demonic" Heartless, even though the former in truth actually stand in the Twilight and nevertheless represent the Darkness that both is and of the Human Body, although Nobodies are indeed the Human Body after it is consumed by Darkness, they take on monstrous forms to affirm their status that their bodies have succumbed to Darkness, however, if their previous Human forms had strong senses of willpower, they are allowed to retain those Human forms based on the Memories of what they once had of those forms, this is only in the case of Organization XIII, they are the pure example of Nobodies that still look like and appear Human even after becoming Nobodies but still, they are all in the very same context empty shells with no emotions that Yen Sid says are one day destined to return to the Darkness, this is where Yen Sid reveals what he believes to be the ultimate objective of the Organization to both Riku and Mickey, he believes that in order to divert from their destined paths of eventually returning to Darkness, the Organization will attempt to seek out Kingdom Hearts in some sort of form and/or way and they will stop at nothing until they have obtained the Heart of all Worlds, thus the Worlds now face a second universal crisis, one very much more dangerous then the last, to be sure... Yen Sid now reveals the parts that both Riku and the king must play in order to avert Organization XIII from obtaining their endgame, according to what the stars have told him, Yen Sid has received crucial and vital information for both Riku and Mickey before they begin their quest, according to what Yen Sid has heard, he deduces to both Riku and his apprentice that apparently, the Organization has lost at least over 6 of its members, thanks to the efforts of both Riku and Sora combined and now, the Organization has lost over half of its battle strength, leaving only 7 members left remaining standing, however, the wise master informs Riku and Mickey that they must remain vigilant for these last 7 members of Organization XIII may very well prove to be both the strongest and deadliest of them all, Riku ponders for a moment in silence before then speaking up, asking if a man named Xemnas is one of those 7 and if so, is he truly the leader of the Organization? Yen Sid goes silent before making his reply, he says to Riku that he cannot say for sure, only that if that were the case to indeed be true, Riku must be on-guard at all times, for the Organization are nothing like what he has faced beforehand in the past, even when confronting the Seeker of Darkness, the Organization will prove to be difficult enemies to handle, maybe at either the Seeker's level or most probably beyond that, plus there are the lesser Nobodies that Organization XIII command and the Heartless to take into account, as well, Riku and Mickey must look out at all times for enemies that could appear from just about everywhere, Riku and Mickey acknowledge Yen Sid's advice before he then reveals to them that before explaining on what their parts will be during their quest, he says to the two that they will need more suitable travelling clothes endured for combat, although they have the Black Coats the Organization wear to shield themselves from the Darkness, Yen Sid believes that for a new journey, they must start with a fresh clean state of mind and also in Riku's case, he may have not noticed due to the Darkness surrounding him and his ever confronting battles with it but Riku is starting to mature physically and he is outgrowing his clothes he set out with from the Destiny Islands when the first universal crisis started, Riku is a bit embarrassed to have not noticed that whilst Mickey merely chuckles at Riku upon learning this, Yen Sid points to the door next to his study that there, Riku and Mickey will find Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, the three good faeries that will design for Riku and Mickey garments according to their customized visualizations but more importantly are especially well designed for combat, as Riku heads on in first, Yen Sid stops Mickey, wanting to discuss a certain important matter with him, as Mickey wonders what Yen Sid could possibly want to ask, it is then that Mickey realizes what Yen Sid is referring to and shows a stern expression upon Mickey's face, preparing to tell Yen Sid everything about what happened during Mickey's part in the Heartless invasion of the Worlds, as Riku meets and socializes with the three faeries and they help design garments according to Riku's wishes and designs, Mickey tells Yen Sid the truth and nothing but the truth, he summons the Keyblade he found in the Realm of Darkness, the Kingdom Key D, otherwise known, as the Light Seeker, using the Keyblade of Darkness, Mickey, representing the Realm's Keyblade wielder alongside Riku's best friend Sora, wielding the Kingdom Key and representing the Realm of Light, as its Keyblade wielder, together, Mickey and Sora closed on both sides of the Door to Darkness Kingdom Hearts, preventing the Heartless invasion at its source from spreading both once and for all and whilst in the Dark Realm, Mickey confirms what Yen Sid suspected to be true and found "that certain person", if that so to be being the case, Yen Sid informs Mickey to never tell Riku or even Sora for that matter of his finding and that if they were to learn before they were ready to do anything, the results would be disastrous, Mickey agrees, knowing what is best but asks Yen Sid a question that he found out from "that certain person", apparently, another "certain person" that Mickey knows bequeathed to Riku when he was a boy the power to one day wield the Keyblade and that Mickey found his Keyblade of Darkness on the World that was consumed by the Darkness, the Destiny Islands, that both Riku and Sora come from, Riku was originally meant to receive the Keyblade of Light there before the World was consumed but at that very moment, his Heart gave into Darkness and his Keyblade passed onto Sora instead, what Mickey is basically trying to get to the crux of everything is that how was Sora even able to wield the Keyblade when he never performed the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony unlike Riku who did? the "certain person" Mickey met back in the Realm of Darkness most definitely informed him that Sora didn't undergo the ceremony and yet why? why was he able to wield the Keyblade? Mickey kept it at the back of his mind during the crisis, knowing that there were more important things at stake during that time but now that he has the chance to ask his master Yen Sid, is Sora some kind of special existence? Yen Sid quietly strokes his beard, as he thinks on this, he says to Mickey that there is a possible theory, as to why Sora has the Keyblade, however, until more evidence is found, Yen Sid cannot say unless certain for sure, for now, all they know is what they can currently go on by, knowing that Organization XIII deserve more attention here then both anything and everything else currently present and for now, Mickey better get ready getting dressed, as Riku then appears in his new clothes, designed accustomed to his thoughts, Mickey heads on in the next room after making comments about Riku's cool look, as both he and Yen Sid then discuss what Riku must do next to continue walking the Road to Dawn, for there is a certain matter Yen Sid wishes to speak with Riku about, one of important attending to... Its true that the World is indeed called Hollow Bastion but even both Klein and his father Caim had agreed that they had wanted to change the World's name to something better, since the name sounded awfully dreadful to both them and the citizens.

" We will now bring to court the one who brought to death our beloved prince Klein and his father the king Caim, the defiler, the one who robbed so many of their precious families, all in the sake of and for his tabooed research, it is him! the accursed one! the one whose name we all speak both with and in anger! his name...Ansem!" said a man standing at a podium, as brought forth to the trial standing was seen Ansem, chained by his hands and neck, brought forth by the guards towards the standing, as everyone booed and accursed him with Ansem being unemotionally fazed by all of them, instead enduring their hurtful comments whilst looking dead eyed exactly like a fish, as Ansem was brought forth, the judge started to speak of the crimes that Ansem had committed, saying to everyone the words: " This man...although proclaiming what he was doing in the past was for the benefit of Hollow Bastion, began working on research that would have endangered our lives yet regardless continued onward with it anyways and by doing so, he had caused the deaths of so many innocent scientists, their lives lost to a monster with no name of unspeakable manner and nature, this monster had attacked without warning and from its assault, did we lose the lives of 13 people exactly, included among them, the life of our beloved prince Klein Bastion, this traitor to our holy city was given an exile pardon by our equally beloved king Caim Bastion, on account of service to the prince beforehand, however, the prince's death was too much of a burden to toil and thus, a toll was paid, in exchange for this...madman's research, the toll had costed not only prince Klein's life but also, the life of the king Caim, our royal Bastion bloodline had never been so ashamed and greatly shaken like this before, fortunately, we have an heir in the prince's daughter, princess Lowia and hopefully when she has come of proper age will she take up the royal throne and restore our city to its natural peaceful state in the years to come, in the meantime, our royal council is doing all it can to keep the peace of Hollow Bastion, having guards stop villains from committing heinous acts within the city walls but even then, do we all suffer and who do we have to thank for this? this supposed "Human" in flesh, Ansem! the "Wise!" yes...WISE ENOUGH TO DRAG OUR BELOVED HOLLOW BASTION DOWN UNDER AND ALMOST COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DESTROYING IT! i say to you, my people, since we are kind and generous folk, should we allow evil to prosper within our World? i say to you, should we let this evil existence continue to live anymore then it already has? most probably planning for another way to destroy us? ...no...WE SHOULD NOT! EVIL MUST BE DESTROYED! we must crush evil before its seed at the root sprouts forth and most probably summons with it more of those monsters that this evildoer had brought forth and had killed our very kind and gentle loving people with! what do the people say? what do the people agree? say your piece! "I'LL KILL YOU ANSEM!" shouted out the people of Hollow Bastion, their hatred ever-growing for the spite they hold against Ansem, Ansem however, despite recognizing this could say naught a thing for what could possibly change? he knew he could not help Hollow Bastion's people if they were not willing to let go of their Darkness and to be quite honest, Ansem didn't expect them to, he knew that he would be forever hated by the people and that the people would never, EVER forgive him for what he has wrought, Ansem was then just about to receive his sentence, his ultimate penalty: "...Now then...i have been looking forward to this for a long time, Ansem, the "Wise" and now, i will decree upon you that which you oh so deserve, by the will of myself, by the will of the royal council and especially, by the will of all the people within Hollow Bastion, including that of her grace queen Strelitzia and the future queen Lowia, i sentenced thee, Ansem, to-" "THAT-IS-ENOUGH!!!" suddenly, shouted out from the top of a person's lungs, a woman's voice, everyone was then very shocked and surprised to see who had then appeared on the scene, as Ansem, recognizing the voice had a little Light return to his eyes, he turned around and saw someone he never expected to see... "What are you doing? idiot, i'm trying to get you two out of this mess!" said Land after getting his mouth out from Raven's hand before whispering to him and Sky also doing the very same says to Raven "I don't want anyone getting into trouble on my behalf!" said Sky, Land replied towards Sky "Ugh, will you shut up already half-pint!? you're already making things worse!" said Land, Sea merely sighed at what was going on in front of both her and Nallan before proceeding to interrupt the two boys' argument by saying to the police officer Malcolm "...Here, this is a signed letter from the Keysword masters at the Distant Outskirts, us three apprentices must always hand out this letter to those with authority in other Worlds, please excuse the boys, they are just being idiots, as boys usually are." said Sea, as Land lastly says towards Sea the words "What was that Sea!? i'll-" said Land before deciding to click his mouth, knowing that Sea was trying to get everything under control.

"!?!? S-sorry...i didn't mean to do that, honest." said Sky, upset that he revealed something that Raven didn't want to show off, Land scoffs at Sky and says to him "HA! now whose's going to want to be your friend huh!?" said Land, painfully mocking Sky before getting slapped across the face again by Sea, concerned for both Sky and Raven, wondering how this will affect their friendship... "!?!? N-nothing! nothing at all officer!" said Sky, as he casually walked in front of Raven from Malcolm's view before whispering to Raven "...I'm sorry, i'm sorry for what i did to you just now, please...let me make this up to you, as my repentance." Sky then walked up to Malcolm and had said to him "...There's been trouble here in the plaza and i...i was the one who caused it, please, don't take it out on any of my friends here officer, i'm the one who caused trouble here, if someone has to been taken in, let it be me and me alone, they had nothing to do with it, please..." said Sky, getting on his hands and knees, begging Malcolm to overlook the others' involvement in what happened before Malcolm had arrived to the area, Land was silent for a moment upon seeing this but then spoke up and said the words "...Oi, officer, he's lying, he's not the one who caused trouble around here, i am...i'm the one you want, you let these guys go and i'll walk away with you gladly." said Land, shocking both Sky and Sea greatly, though the latter upon seeing Land's determination to avoid everyone else getting into trouble despite him being the one who started trouble in the first place started to smile a little, to see that some of the real Land started to appear on the surface.

"R-Raven...your...okay! i'm-i'm so...glad!" said Sky, suddenly waking up without warning and noticing Raven standing before him, Sky comically proceeds to ball his eyes out full of tears, happy that Raven survived the previous attacks made upon him and hug him without warning, also comically get snot all over Raven's shirt whilst hugging him, Land merely replies "...Seriously?" as he cannot believe what is going on right in front of him, Sea looks on appearing unfazed by everything but without anyone noticing, including herself for that matter, she starts to show a slight smile emitting from her mouth, showing that inside her Heart, she was both glad and happy that Sky was now healed and that he appeared more perky from what she could tell of him, this being the 1st time Sea has met Sky after all.

"W-wha!? ...ahem, a-anyways...yeah, i can help heal him, its nothing serious...all this idiot here did was knock him out with a "Light Blast", its the signature technique that we Keysword wielders use to fend off those with malicious intents, only those that are either good natured and good Hearted can use the Light Blast, its not something only Keysword wielders can use but anyways, what i'm trying to get at is that even though he's a hot headed and tempered idiot right here, Land basically has a good nature or good Heart...somewhere in there, you can't judge a book TOO MUCH by its cover." said Sea, at first she was taken aback by Raven's comment about being called beautiful but regardless, she continued talking about what mattered most and revealed that she can heal Sky whilst also revealing that Land was a sort of Anti Hero, despite his seeming villainous nature, he has to some extent buried deep within him at least some kindness, Land merely replies to this with a "...Tch!" upon hearing Sea call him a "good guy", even though he confronted both Sky and Raven the way that he did, at any rate, as for Sky, Sea begun healing him... Inside Sky, he was falling deep, deep below into Darkness, it seemed that the Darkness itself was without end and just when it seemed all hope was lost for Sky, suddenly, he heard a voice and from that voice appeared a platform, it bore both Sky and his Keysword, the Way to the Dawn on it, as pictures, next to Sky's head were four empty circles, however, one was starting to be filled up with Light, slowly but surely, Sky had slowly opened his eyes to notice this before then landing on the platform and it was then that the voice spoke out to him once more, saying "...Do you seek power? or wisdom? maybe even courage? choose your choice and make your proclamation." said the voice, Sky didn't under at all what the voice had meant before suddenly, three giant pedestals surrounded Sky and on each one of them they had contained a different kind of weapon, on the pedestal containing the word power was a sword, on the pedestal containing the word wisdom was a rod and on the pedestal containing the word courage was a shield, it was from these three weapons that Sky had to choose for himself, he went up to the pedestal of courage and had chosen the shield, as his choice of weapon, the voice reappeared once more telling him the words "...You have signed the contract, now one last thing remains...what will you give up in equal exchange?" in other-words, Sky had to give up one of the other weapons' strength if he had wanted to receive his current weapon's strength, he proceeded to choose the sword to give up, as a power, believing that it only had the power to do harm rather then good, the voice seemed pleased with Sky's decisions and had proceeded to summon away the pedestals before showing one of the four empty circles surrounding Sky's face picture on the platform, revealing a picture of Raven's face, this was to symbolize that Sky had at least formed some sort of form of bond with Raven and seeing Raven's face on the platform made Sky smile a little, it was then however, that this was suddenly cut short by the appearance of a both strange and mysterious hooded man dressed in a all white coat, Sky had summoned his Keysword whilst wielding the shield he had chosen just moments ago alongside the Keysword, confronting the hooded figure, the figure spoke and had revealed that the voice from moments ago had actually belonged to this figure, this figure revealed its name, as simply the letter "X" and that X would serve to become Sky's guide during his forthcoming journey, what Sky understood from this was little to all unknown, he was just puzzled by the fact that someone else other then Sky himself was here in the Darkness, however, X corrected Sky, informing him that he was not lost in Darkness but rather Light and that he had yet to face the "true" Darkness that was yet to appear, just then, Sky felt an ominous presence behind him, he turned around and looked and suddenly saw the giant face of a mechanical like being with silver hair, pointy ears and golden eyes, Sky was shocked horrified by its appearance, as he then opened up his eyes back in the real World to discover the people surrounding him and that Sea herself especially was healing him.

"...Gah...shut up...all of you..." said Land towards both Raven and Nallan, after suffering a quick defeat at the hands of the former, it was just then that another mysterious voice shouted out, saying "That's enough! Land!" said the voice, belonging to a young woman who identified the young man, as Land of whom in return identifies the young woman, as "...Sea." said Land. Sea proceeded to take a deep breath and bow down in apology towards both Raven and Nallan, especially the former, saying to him the words "I am terribly, TERRIBLY sorry! for the way my fellow apprentice and friend was acting towards both you and the other younger person, you see, he didn't mean anything by it, its just in his nature to be like that, he's very rude and thinks of himself very highly, highly ARROGANT if you ask me, right Land?" said Sea, Land replied towards Sea "...Shut up, i don't need your help, or your protection, i was just testing out the newbie and from the looks of him, he ain't got much life in him left, heh." said Land, Sea proceeded to smack him across the face without warning, though he appeared unemotionally fazed, Sea lastly said towards Raven "...Please, may i look at him? i promise...i won't do any harm, he's brave, he stuck up for you twice without warning, even though he could have been badly hurt, you two must have been good friends for a long time if he was willing to go THIS far..." said Sea, talking about Sky and wondering about his relationship with Raven, not knowing that Sky and Raven had only met just today.

After leaving DiZ behind and continuing onward with King Mickey, dusk started to turn into daylight and, as Riku felt the daylight upon his skin, he felt almost, as though he was being boiled by the rays of the sun, he then recalled the last words that the Seeker of Darkness, Ansem, had mentioned to Riku at the climax of their final battle, he said that he bestowed upon Riku his Dark powers and that, as long, as Riku had them, he would never truly be free of the Dark, nor the Seeker for that matter, in an attempt to first find a way to get rid of Ansem's influence over Riku's Heart to better help Sora, Namine telepathically instructs Riku that he should go with Mickey to the World that lays in the center of the Realm Between, the World of Twilight Town, it is here that both Light and Darkness meet and mix with one another and if by going to Twilight Town and bathing in the mixture of Light and Darkness, the Twilight would better help Riku, at the very least solve one step towards his problems then so be it, he and Mickey journeyed to Twilight Town. It was here in the World of Twilight that Riku and Mickey had both got a glimpse of the enemy that they would be confronting in the not too far away future, they were known, as the Nobodies and they namely appeared in the forms of Dusks, empty shells of Human beings' bodies that no longer resemble their respective Human counterparts' physical forms, Riku and Mickey saw the Nobodies engaging in a conflict with the Heartless, the Twilight beings' more Dark sided counterparts, the ones that Riku felt a strong affinity with, the Heartless acted like beasts, only using raw instinct to guide them in battle against their enemies and towards the Hearts that they ever so seek to capture, however, Nobodies that do not possess the ability to claim Hearts yet can think and plan for themselves show that they have a much better advantage against the mindless Heartless, although the Heartless were more in quantity, the Nobodies were vice versa, showing that they had more quality that made them shine within the Twilight Light of the town, after disposing of Shadows belonging to the Heartless, the Dusks had turned their attention towards both Riku and the king, decided to make them their next prey. Riku and Mickey however prepared themselves against these new foes of theirs, summoning their respective weapons, for Riku it was the sword Soul Eater and for Mickey it was the Keyblade Star Seeker, Riku and Mickey fought side by side against the Dusks and had eventually managed to win the battle, however, at the very end of the fight, Riku could sense the Dark figure lurking within his Heart's presence and had realized both then and there that Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness, was not so easily vanquished, Mickey worried for Riku's safety but Riku assured Mickey that he was fine and that the Mouse King shouldn't trouble himself over Riku, however, Mickey rebukes that, saying that it is because that he cares about Riku that he worries for him, Riku is shocked and then recalls a slight Memory within his Heart of how he once fought Sora at Hollow Bastion and of how he was saved by Mickey's friends both Donald and Goofy who in their own rights and Sora's vice versa all became with one another's friends...after recalling Goofy protecting Sora from a Darkness based attack of Riku's when he was corrupted by the Darkness beforehand, he now realizes upon seeing Mickey and sensing his concern for Riku that the two are slowly but very surely building a bond similar to that of Sora, Donald and Goofy's. Riku was...glad, glad to know that someone was still looking out for him, even after all that has happened currently up to this point, however, now was not the time to digress and both he and the king had to push on forwards, in order to seek answers that would help them both defeat Ansem finally once and for all and help Sora regain his proper Chain of Memories within his Heart after losing the links that make up the chain thanks to the machinations of an evil organization that had plotted to use both Sora and Riku for their own diabolical benefits, to learn and know more about the Nobodies and the organization that had tried to manipulate Riku, Mickey decides that it was time for Riku to meet one wiser then Mickey himself and that was his master Yen Sid, the mysterious sorcerer, it turns out that the sorcerer's mysterious tower and this town of Twilight were somehow interlinked with one another and that in order to find out more about what this certain interlink was, Riku and Mickey both split up, as Riku made his way towards the train station of Twilight Town, it was here that he was attacked by more Nobodies, only for them to be suddenly dispatched by a both strange and mysterious individual that Riku does not recognize, his name is Jet and that he has come to help Riku but what sort of help does he intend to offer? Riku at this point was questioning himself but was determined to continue pushing forward despite his internal struggles, not just with the Darkness and its Seeker but also...with himself, as well, Riku's journey...had only just begun. Verse II: Jet and Pitch Black. Well, well, WELL...it looks like, you still got some fight left in you. said Jet towards Riku, as he replied: Who are you? where did you come from? what are you-HUH!?!? just then, Riku took a good closer look at Jet and very shockingly, he resembled a younger Ansem, Riku with Soul Eater in hand proceeded to confront Jet, asking him: ARE YOU...ANSEM!?!? said Riku, shouting out towards Jet, Jet merely picked out dandruff from his ear whilst listening to Riku before then replying with the words: ...Maaan, you are SO annoying! honestly, i don't even understand WHY i was handed to you! said Jet, Riku was then perplexed by Jet's words, asking him again: Huh? handed? what are you-geh!? said Riku, as he then noticed what looked like a doorway to the innermost Darkness open up in front of him and appearing from it was another young Ansem look a like, although he was a bit older then Jet and he proceeded to say to him: ...Jet, let's go, too many of those husks are crawling about. said the other Ansem look a like, as Jet then identified the slightly older look a like, as Pitch, saying to him in reply: I believe the term your looking for Pitch is actually Dusks, not Husks...tch, sigh...whatever, fine... said Jet, as he rubbed the back of his head whilst Pitch merely crossed his arms, Riku didn't understand anything of what was going on at all and before he could stop both Jet and Pitch from leaving, the former raised his hand upwards to Riku, catching him off guard and saying towards him: Hey, Riku was it? grow stronger for us, we'll need you at full capacity and strength, that is...if you want to master the true Darkness within you. said Jet before he and Pitch then left without Riku being able to stop them in time, as he said to himself the words: Ah, wait! ...the true...Darkness? what does he mean? i already...fought and defeated Ansem...i know however, that...i can still feel his presence within my Heart, still... said Riku, wondering if the question of the true Darkness and Ansem were both one in the very same. Sunset started to fall and Mickey reunited with Riku at the station, it was here that the two went over what they had learned from being separated, as Mickey reveals he didn't see too much of anything in particular detail, only that the white creatures were roaming the town like uncontrollable flies and when it had met their fancy, they would pounce and strike on the Hearts of those that are merely just innocent people involved in no way whatsoever to what was really going on within the shadows, Mickey had used his original Keyblade from the Realm of Light, the Star Seeker to strike them down and then straight afterwards disappear from people's eye-view, however...he couldn't still feel help but be bothered by the white creatures and was hoping that once upon finding master Yen Sid would all of both his and Riku's questions be answered, Riku, although bothered by everything had then seen a ice cream vendor not too far away from the train station just about ready to close up shop, acting on instinct, he went to the vendor and bought himself and Mickey Twilight Town's local delicacy of ice cream, Sea Salt flavoured ice cream, Riku then pointed towards Twilight Town's train station clock tower and it was there that both he and Mickey had decided to eat ice cream whilst watching the moon within the distance of Twilight Town starting to arise, as the sun started to fell into the great beyond below. Mickey and Riku both had made their equal comments about the Sea Salt Ice Cream, as Mickey upon eating it felt it was salty but sweet but when Riku tasted it, he though that it was outright disgusting, wondering who would even want to eat, better yet, come up with a flavour for a ice cream such, as this? Mickey laughed at Riku trying to crack a joke but realized he was only pretending to joke, in order to cover up his true concerns of what is truly bothering Riku, one point being especially, who were the two that resembled younger versions of the Seeker of Darkness that Riku had encountered and what did they want with him? Mickey tried to ease the slight tension a little by commenting about the moon not too far away from the view of the clock tower, he said to Riku that Twilight Town rarely ever turns to moonlight, even when it is nighttime, because of being a World that is more close to the Light then the Darkness, Twilight Town rarely ever has nightfall, even when it is time for people to sleep and thus, according to history, they built the clock tower to remind them when it was time to go to sleep and when to wake up, Riku then says to Mickey after pausing for a moment, replying to him by saying: ...Do you think, do you think the moon's presence is signified...by MY presence? ... said Riku, looking at everything despondently, Mickey was saddened that he had failed to cheer Riku up, instead apparently having only made things worse, it was then that Riku began to recall visual images of Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness inside of his mind whilst also recalling the physical appearances of both Jet and Pitch resembling Ansem, finally, a third unknown visual image popped into his mind, it was of a person in a Black Coat the very same, as the Organization's and both Riku and Mickey's, this person very shockingly resembled yet another Ansem look a like, however, unlike both Jet and Pitch, this look a like had more fairer tanned skin then both them and the original Ansem, also, his hair was more spiked out, giving him his own appearance compared to that of the others. Riku lastly saw a Memory play inside his head, it was of two people in Black Coats by a Dark seaside talking to each other, one was younger then the other and he was trying to ask the taller person in the Black Coat what his name was, the taller person merely then got up from upon the rock he was sitting on and had then whispered something to the younger person that Riku had heard that he couldn't ever possibly forget and that was: SORA. Riku called out Sora's name, as he then nearly fell from sitting atop the clock tower, only to be saved by Mickey who managed to pull him back just in time, Mickey had asked Riku what was wrong and why did he especially call out Sora's name, Riku merely shrugged it off, saying that it was nothing and that both he and Mickey should now try to find places to sleep for the night because come first dawn tomorrow, the two will set out to finally meet Mickey's master Yen Sid, Mickey, although greatly concerned nevertheless complied and thus it was, nightfall had come to Twilight Town and the Dusk remnants of Dawn would follow not too far behind both Riku and the king, as they still continued journeying forth, ever seeking to find more answers. Light and Dark, back to back, Riku had wondered whilst sleeping inside of his dreams if this possibility was really true or not, could he really live alongside the Light with his Darkness in tune with it? Riku had awoken from where both he and Mickey were sleeping in a forest on the outskirts of Twilight Town and upon awaking, Mickey pointed towards Riku the location of a both strange and mysterious old mansion not too far away from them just nearby, Mickey laments that they weren't able to spot it before and if they did, they would have had a place to stay for the night previously, however...Riku corrects Mickey, revealing to him that it wasn't just pure coincidence that they couldn't find the mansion but rather, Darkness of some kind had been blocking their eyesight and their views went beyond that of the mansion, thus unable to see for what was truly there right in front of them... Riku and Mickey had decided to check the old mansion out and inside, the two met with Namine all of a sudden appearing before them within an all white room, it was here that she was communicating with them through an illusion of Light and that she wasn't there physically, instead, she had created a Memory recording of herself here in the mansion to await both Riku and Mickey's arrival to inform them of something whilst the real Namine and DiZ were currently working together to restore Sora's Chain of Memories. The Namine projection revealed to Riku that by now he must of received a vision, a vision of him seeing a man that looked identical to the one that lurks within Riku's Heart, Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness, Namine reveals that man that resembles Ansem to be known, as Xemnas and that he was the one responsible for everything that happened at Castle Oblivion...the place where Sora had lost all of his Memories. Namine also reveals to Riku that when his body was taken over by Ansem to be used to seek out the Door to Darkness that would lead him to the Heart of all Worlds, Kingdom Hearts, it was during this time that Sora had met Xemnas at the castle of Hollow Bastion where the evil fairy witch Maleficent had met her end, Sora confronted Xemnas in battle after being provoked and at first thinking that he had won against Xemnas, Xemnas however proved that he was only playacting with Sora in order to test his strength, the reason for this being is currently unknown, however...Namine suspects just one thing about Xemnas and that is just like Ansem haunts Riku, Xemnas will most likely try to haunt Sora within the not too far away future once Sora's Memories have been fully restored and even if Sora has grown stronger by then, it is most likely that he will still need the help of Riku and the others to confront and stop Xemnas. Xemnas had ordered his minions of the Organization to lure Sora to Castle Oblivion in the hopes of controlling him, to use his Keyblade for whatever sinister plots that the Organization have in mind, Namine knows naught about Xemnas' plans, only that there were rebels within the Organization that were plotting to use Xemnas' original plan to turn Sora against him and those loyal to Xemnas, Namine was to control Sora and let him loose like a hound on Xemnas by the Organization's traitors, however, it was thanks to the help of one of the supposed traitors that Sora broke free from both Namine and especially the traitors' control, allowing Sora to take down the traitorous leader and begin the restoration process of sleeping to restore the Chain of Memories inside his Heart, Namine lastly reveals that the process will take about a year long exactly at best for the Memories to fully return and during that time, Xemnas may try to find Sora and use him once more or maybe even worse, it is up to Riku and the king to stop that from happening, Riku, now having heard everything from Namine's projection agrees and that along with king Mickey, the two decide to leave the mansion in search of master Yen Sid, who could help better their attempts at helping Sora awaken from the sleep of exactly one whole year. Riku and Mickey journey towards the train station once more and it is this time around that they are attacked by another kind of Nobody altogether known, as a Twilight Thorn, the Twilight Thorn tries to destroy both Riku and Mickey but using the sheer brilliance of power, teamwork and friendship combined, Riku combining his Darkness with Mickey's Light were able to end the Twilight being, allowing them to continue forth onward...however, it was then that both strangely and mysteriously from out of nowhere, Jet had reappeared towards Riku, Mickey could not see him and Jet had begun speaking to Riku, saying to him the words: "...Such a shame, Twilight falls into nightfall...i mean really, what-a-shame..." said Jet, mocking the deceased Twilight Thorn, as Riku replied: "...Look, if your here to play mind games with me, i've had just about enough, Maleficent, Ansem, the Organization...you all say the exact same things to me about Darkness, well guess what? i...walk the road, to dawn...Darkness is neither my friend, nor is it my foe, only those lurking within the Darkness and creeping around inside of it are my true enemy, if you are one of those creeping around, save me the trouble...and let's fight here and now." said Riku, Jet merely clapped his hands, impressed by Riku's response, saying towards him the words: "Excellent! i expected nothing less from the hero of Darkness, still...you have a long way to go if you want to fight both Ansem and Xemnas, if you truly want to save Sora, unlock the untapped potential within and then...you can save your friend." said Jet, this cause Riku by surprised, wondering what exactly did Jet mean by that, suddenly, Jet had vanished into thin air, leaving naught a trace of him, it seems, as though he was encouraging Riku to fight both Ansem and Xemnas, even though Jet himself remarkably resembled the former, as Mickey asks what just happened with Riku all of a sudden, Riku reveals that he was merely...having a talk with the Darkness inside of him and that it was about time for both him and the king to continue pressing onward, who knows when more Heartless and those white creatures would start attacking once again, the king, although hesitant, complied with Riku's quest and so, the two had entered the train station, planning to depart to locations outside the town unknown within the Realm Between. At the train station, Riku and Mickey find the train that they are looking for by its unusual characteristics and just, as they are about to continue onward, Riku accidentally bumps into a young girl accompanied by two other boys, they introduce themselves to Riku whilst Mickey went on ahead of him, thereby the three not noticing the king's presence, having only just passed him and due to his short size, it is easy for a person to just miss him almost completely and entirely, digressing, the three youths friendly introduce themselves to Riku, their names are Olette, Pence and Hayner, although saying that all three of the youths friendly introduce themselves to Riku is a lie, Hayner appears to have a bit of an attitude around Riku, especially since he accidentally knocked down Olette, Riku apologizes for knocking down Olette and helps her up which causes her to blush in return before she and Pence friendly reveal their names to Riku whilst Hayner begrudgingly reveals his name in his own manner, upon seeing the three, Riku is instantly reminded of himself through Hayner, Sora through Pence and Kairi through Olette, he laughed at this a little which Hayner throught Riku was looking down on the three and thus, immediately picks a fight with him, which both Pence and Olette try to avoid, trying to talk Hayner out of it but to no avail, instead, Riku encourages and accepts Hayner's challenge, wanting to take him on and see for Riku himself what it's like to see "himself" through his own eyes... The two agree to have a fight outside the station with Riku asking how would the conditions of the duel be met? Hayner was confused by what Riku meant at first before deciding to toss him a bat of some kind, Pence revealed to Riku that what he was holding was called a Struggle bat and that everyone here in Twilight Town celebrate the sport that is known, as Struggle, the rules are simple, combatants must both wear Struggle suits with orbs attached to them, over 200 small orbs precisely and whoever uses their Struggle bat to knock off their opponent's orbs and claim either most of them before time runs out or all of them exactly will the winner be declared the victor of the Struggle, Pence however tells Riku that its best to give up now, since Hayner is considered the 2nd best Struggler in all of Twilight Town but Olette encourages Riku not to give in to Pence's words and upon holding both of his hands does Olette say that she will lend Riku her strength during this fight, Riku blushes slightly upon Olette holding his hands, immediately causing him to turn his hands away from Olette's, blushing slightly but strongly, as well which causes Olette to giggle, Hayner asks the two are they done having their lovers' moment and if both Riku and he are ready to Struggle? Comically, just before the fight starts...Riku has one question, just-one-question...why does he have to wear a ridiculous monkey suit with all of these orbs on him? even on-top of his head? he looks like an electric man gone to a dress up party just to get mocked at for, Hayner is confused by Riku's reaction, asking him if he has never seen Struggle before? Riku replies of course he hasn't! he's never been off the islands before-just then, Riku stopped talking before he could finish his sentence, remembering that the World balance must be kept in order and the Worlds must not know about one another's existence...Hayner overheard Riku say islands? what islands? there are no islands on the outskirts of here in Twilight Town, you must have been blinded by the sunset of the town too many times to remember, what kind of person are you? someone who loves the Light? just then, Riku went dead silent upon hearing Hayner's words, causing Olette to worry, as she has developed a sort of instant infatuation with Riku upon meeting him and socializing with him, Pence had then decided to declare the Struggle to begin and without warning, Hayner struck the first blow without Riku noticing, having been caught up in a daze by Hayner's comment a moment earlier, some of Riku's orbs were stolen from him, causing him to rethink and get his head back into the game and proceed to fight Hayner, as watching from above Twilight Town's clock tower right down below at the Struggle going on were both Jet and Pitch, the former eating Sea Salt Ice Cream whilst watching and commenting on the ice cream's taste, saying how disgustingly it tasted, the same comment Riku had made about the ice cream previously. Riku and Hayner fought on equal terms, as though Riku was clearly more powerful and superior in strength then Hayner was, he wanted a sort of fair fight with Hayner without unleashing Riku's true strength that could very well possibly hurt Hayner in the process, however, the latter had noticed this and had called out to Riku, saying the words: "Come on! is that all you got!? i thought you were stronger then THIS!" said Hayner, as he knocked back Riku and, as he tried to regain his balance after being shaken a bit by Hayner's attack, it was just then that Riku recalled something within his head, the words that Hayner just spoke to Riku...they were almost exactly the same, as Riku's that he used to say to Sora whenever they would spar with wooden swords on the Destiny Islands, Riku in his head in slow motion thought about this for a second, did this mean that Namine's restoration of Sora's Memories had finally begun? if so...Riku had no time to dawdle, despite wanting to see "himself" through Hayner, Riku realized that he must now press on, for Sora's sake and thus, he unleashed a bit of his true strength within and with one single horizontal strike aimed at Hayner did Riku proceed to knock him out and take all of his orbs that were laying around Hayner, as he laid knocked out cold on the ground for a few seconds, Pence and Olette looked on so shocked that the former's jaw dropped at seeing Hayner having been defeated just like that within a single instance, Olette saw Hayner laying on the ground before looking towards Riku, she could sense something in the air that was emitting all around Riku's body but couldn't quite tell what it was, nevertheless, despite all this, Pence after pausing for a moment had declared Riku the victor of the Struggle, Hayner woke up and Riku immediately apologized towards him, saying that he only used enough strength to win the Struggle against Hayner without having to completely knock him unconscious, Hayner upon hearing this was greatly and deeply annoyed with Riku, he tried to pick a physical fight with Riku, saying to him, wanting to know why did Riku hold back during the Struggle if Riku was THAT good!? Hayner declared that Riku was even better then Hayner's rival in Twilight Town named Seifer, the number one Struggler in all of the town, if Riku was that good, why did he hold back at all to begin with!? Hayner couldn't just understand whatsoever, as he was flabbergasted by Riku's decision to hold back his true strength at all, he grabbed Riku by his Black Coat's collar and had tried to punch Riku, feeling, as though, the white haired youth was looking down upon him, Pence managed to hold Hayner back however before he could slug Riku right in the face, Pence said to Hayner that Riku must of had his reasons for holding back but that Hayner didn't care about any excuses for he believes that when a Struggler enters the ring must they always use their 100% percent strength from the get go! no-exceptions! to Hayner, it would be seen, as a disgrace to the both fellow and respective Struggler that each other is facing within the Struggle itself and then what would be the point? what would be the point to Struggle at all!? after hearing Hayner's words and the both determination and conviction within them did Riku say to Pence that it was alright, to let Hayner go and let Riku himself be punched, after all, it was what Riku believes that he deserves for holding back against a respective opponent such, as Hayner himself, after hearing this, Hayner broke free of Pence's grip and proceeded to try and punch Riku straight within his face, only to stopped short however, as shocking Riku greatly, appearing in-between both him and Hayner was Olette! standing up for Riku, Hayner stopped short upon seeing that Olette was standing up for Riku, the question was why he asked her, Olette replied: "Hayner, i'm sure you must have felt frustrated in the past when Seifer purposely held back against you and you found out afterwards, especially when it came to last year's Struggle tournament but still...i think, that Riku is different! if he truly wanted to hold back against you, don't you think he would have done so throughout all of the match? right at the very end, Riku showed a bit of his true strength against you and to me, that proves that Riku wasn't looking down on you, rather, he had his reasons and that he was looking out for you! i know that you normally don't like that when people do those kind of things for you but nevertheless, i believe...i believe, in Riku!" said Olette, Riku quietly said her name and after hearing her words, Hayner pondered for a moment before deciding to come a begrudging judgement, he told Riku the words: "...Fine, listen up! Riku or whatever your name is, i...i truthfully and honestly don't like the stunt you pulled with me during the Struggle but...Olette is speaking up for you and if she is speaking up for you then fine, i'll relent, just this once, however, i expect to see you next time, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, heck, maybe not even in the next Struggle tournament but next time! next time we'll see each other in the ring and whoever loses has to buy ice cream for the winner, deal!?" said Hayner, making a sworn promise with Riku, upon hearing this, Riku after remaining silent for a few seconds proceeded to nod his head and shake Hayner's hand, also promising that they will one day meet each other within the real Struggle ring and when they do, neither will hold back their true strength, Riku agrees to this, pleasing both Pence and Olette, especially the latter. A few minutes later, Riku declares that he must leave now, as his train will be departing, as Riku is just about to leave, Olette goes up towards him, asking him when will he be back? Riku says that he honestly doesn't know, only that he knows that he will go where the Road to Dawn shall take him, Olette ponders about what Riku means when he says the Road to Dawn but nevertheless, she suddenly takes his hand and makes a pinky swear with him, saying to Riku: "...Okay, then once you have finished walking Dawn, you'll come back, to Twilight i mean?" said Olette, Riku was surprised by Olette's words, although he meant something else entirely when he was talking about the Road to Dawn, Olette mentioned that he would one day return to Twilight Town and when he heard her say return to Twilight, Riku then pondered about the bigger question concerning that word and the word Dawn, Riku had decided to return Olette's pinky swear and lastly say to her the words: "...Yeah, i'll return, i'll return...to the Light of Twilight." said Riku, as he and Olette traded their sworn pinky swear promise, the latter merely smiled, as Riku bashfully looked away from Olette's smile, causing her to giggle at his bashfulness, Olette then slowly let her pinky finger go of Riku's and, as Riku felt Olette's pinky leaving his, he suddenly recalled Memories of Kairi within his head, he saw Olette for a moment before she turned into Kairi and back into Olette again, she left to reunite with both Hayner and Pence and for a moment, just a single moment within time itself, Riku tried to reach out his hand towards Olette, as though he didn't want her to leave, however, by then, it was too late, she had left and Riku looked back at the palm of his hand, thinking to himself about how he was trying to reach out for the Light Olette was emitting from within her Heart, he formed a grip within his hand before deciding to put his Black Coat's hood on. Mickey was waiting for Riku inside the train station and had asked him where did he go all of a sudden before then shockingly noticing that Riku was streaming down a tear from his face underneath his hood, he proceeded to get on the train with Mickey worried about Riku, as the latter throughout the train ride kept his hood up, saying to himself how Olette reminded him of Kairi, of how they even look similar more or less and that most probably, he may...never see Olette again, Riku gritted his teeth whilst slightly crying, lastly saying to himself the words: "...Everything fades...into black..." said Riku, the train continued its course until eventually arriving at Yen Sid's mysterious tower.
