  1. This one is actually really tricky. Cecil and Ashe are probably my two favorite heroes, and Kefka and Kuja would be my two favorite villains. Picking an absolute favorite of them would be hard, because then I would be able to think of reasons why I might like another slightly better, but it would probably be in the general range of these four.
  2. It's actually part of an instrument. You can use it as a reed while playing woodwinds, so that you can get a tasty snack while producing music. It is, in fact, not my real name.
  3. After four years on this site come January 19, it occurred to me that never once have I done an Ask Me Anything, in spite of the trend popping up every now and again. So, now's your chance: ask Dave anything, and I might just answer.
  4. So they can take the train to the beach.
  5. Bill's probably bad at games and doesn't like other people being better than him. Bill can get 360 no scoped.
  6. As much as I'm not willing to defend the magic of popping hearts back into nobies, I kind of think that Vexen might have been in the know all along. We kind of got a hint in 358 Days that Vexen was more important to Xemnas than some of the others, since Xemnas does confess that "Losing Vexen was not part of the plan."
  7. http://www.novacrystallis.com/2015/12/kitase-and-nomura-explain-why-final-fantasy-vii-remake-is-a-multi-part-series/ Final Fantasy VII Remake is a multi-part series. Please tell us more about this decision. Kitase: “The idea that a remake of Final Fantasy VII would not fit into a single release was there from the very beginning. We still can’t share more information about its multiple parts, but please look forward to future announcements.” Nomura: “If we dedicated our time to a single release, parts of it would become summarized. We’d have to cut some parts, and additional parts would come in few, so rather than remake the game as a full volume, we decided to do multiple parts.
  8. Except that the episodic thing with VII, and apparently with what was planned with Versus XIII, seems to be endorsed by him.
  9. The difference being, of course, that Mad Max did it well, delivering on what was expected from the genre while over delivering on several other fronts, including story, characters, the action itself and the momentum with which it was presented, and visuals, while XIII, as it were, did not.
  10. I think the Paper Mario series generally has an non convoluted plot (collect seven stars and beat the boss) while still delivering a nice and satisfying plot.
  11. For nostalgia and nostalgia alone, I think Donkey Kong Country. That was the game I played the most as a kid, and meant a lot to me.
  12. According to the PS4 awards, Dark Souls 3 is the most anticipated game of 2016. http://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/gaming/634233/PS4-Dark-Souls-3-Horizon-Zero-Dawn-No-Mans-Sky-Witcher-3-Fans-Awards-Vote
  13. It's a tie between V and VI. I think V had the best use of the job system in all the games, but I also liked how VI made the jobs unique to the characters, as well as how using Espers made how you leveled up more strategic.
  14. Watching Someone Play Videogames "Oh, crap, I thought that would kill you."
  15. Brock Lesnar makes everything at least 20% worse.

  16. Let it truly be said that the legend will never die: someone made an AI PvP character for people to challenge, who is apparently a complete wrecking crew. Bow down to the King. http://kotaku.com/someone-spent-10-months-reverse-engineering-dark-souls-1752974876 It looks like he's double handing the Gold Tracer for the weapon, but outside of the sack, I can't really tell what his armor loadout is.
  17. Bless him for all that he gave us, from Hans Gruber to Professor Snape.
  18. It would be so absurd that I couldn't help but laugh at it. Square's bizarre fascination with Lighting would have gone to levels of madness if they thought that she could somehow add to VII, of all games.
  19. You thought that was honey?
  20. Lady Maria vs. Artorias.

I'm inclined to say before, just so he would have both arms working.

ohhh tough choice.... god knows they can both hold their own. Well i DID have more trouble against Maria, plus her blood + fire attacks were a spectacle to behold. i feel like her speed would work in her favor. im gonna say Maria... for now.. maybe..

If Artorias knew how to parry, which he might if he has his arm back, he might be able to have her on edge. I do think Maria has the edge on speed, it would just be a matter of whether or not she could totally stunlock Artorias from getting his shots in.

  21. I would have the winnings delivered to me in assortments of bills, which I would then wall paper my house with, so that I might constantly be surrounded by Prime Ministers (and the Queen).
  22. Twenty years of Koffing and Muk! Here's to twenty more!
  23. Would anyone be interested in a Dark Souls RP?

Not sure about plot just yet: I wanted to see if people were interested before I got too invested.

I haven't done a roleplay in a long time, but this might get me back into them c:
