    Then explain why we see human babies with their parents? They do time skips in Disney movies to allow babies to be born without showing anything that would scar the kids.

    I don't see why not. Not only that, but since Nobodies can grow new hearts and become full people, I see no reason why the baby wouldn't have a heart. Even if Larxene hadn't grown a heart back at that point, the traits a child inherits from their parents is DNA-based, and I don't see why becoming a Nobody would change your DNA.

    This will (hopefully) be the last post about me showing my dad the KH games. We're going in release order, and we'll be ready for KH2 before 2.5 comes out. Should I show him the original English KH2 now and show him the Final Mix exclusive cutscenes (and the Lingering Will battle) when 2.5 gets here, or should we just put our viewing on hold until 2.5 comes out so he can see KH2FM as it's meant to be seen? I'd rather not use the English patched version of KH2FM, it has too many hiccups.

    I'm planning to go in release order (I went in chronological order and missed all kinds of references and such), but I want to show him KH2FM in English, which isn't happening until December (I'm not fond of the English patch), so I'm thinking of Days coming first so that we don't have quite as long to wait between games. We'll be done with KH1FM sometime this week, and Re: CoM won't take too awfully long because we're skipping a lot of gameplay. He's not into the gameplay as much as the story, and I find most of the general world battles in Re: CoM boring to watch... It took a bit, but after a few years of him not getting why I like it so much I started showing him a walkthrough of KH1FM. Took him a little while to get into it, but we just finished the first visit to Hollow Bastion. AND he made a KH reference yesterday without me even saying anything. He's hooked. ^^

    I posted earlier about showing my dad walkthroughs of the games, and I was wondering whether I should show him the HD version of Days first or wait for 2.5's KH2, then show him Days. I know that Days has spoilers for KH2, but my dad already knows some of them, like what a Nobody is and how one is formed, the existence of Organization XIII, and that Roxas is Sora's Nobody. That said, I think the only big spoiler that leaves is that the "Ansem" we see in KH2 is actually Riku. Considering how strongly hinted at that is in the game (and the fact that when I watched Days with no knowledge of KH2, I was SHOCKED when I first saw Riku-Ansem), I'm seriously considering showing him Days before KH2. Are there any other points of KH2 that get spoiled in Days?

    I went through the games chronologically (BBS was my first game), so I saw Days before II, and while it DID make more sense to me, I was kind of bummed that I spoiled so many big reveals for KH2 (Roxas' identity, "Ansem" actually being Riku, etc).

    After a few years of my dad not understanding my love of Kingdom Hearts, I started showing him a walkthrough of KHFM (thank you, 1.5), and guess what? He's hooked! He's not always super-interested in the gameplay, but he's gotten into the story! We're about 2/3 of the way through KHFM, should finish some time in the next week. Then it's on to 1.5's Re: CoM, where we will be skipping a lot of gameplay because even I find the general battle within the card worlds to be boring to watch. Assuming we finish KHFM and Re: CoM before December 2 (which seems likely), what should my next step be? Should I show him 358/2, which has been HD-ified (I found a video that has both the HD cutscenes and all scenes from the original that got left out of 1.5), or should I go in release order and show him the not-always-great English patch of KH2FM before 358/2? Or should we just take a break from KH and wait for 2.5, watch KH2FM in HD, and then watch 358/2?

    BBS was my first exposure to KH. I saw animated banner ads on a website I used to be on and thought that it looked interesting, so I decided to do some research and see if I wanted to spend my very restricted (at that time) internet access watching a walkthrough. I found the Kingdom Hearts wiki, and I was CONFUSED AS HECK. I had no idea what half of what I was reading meant! I decided to try looking at character pages instead in the hoped that they would make more sense. I saw Master Xehanort's page and thought it was cool that he's voiced by Leonard Nimoy. Then I went to Master Eraqus' page. I was starting to figure a few things out by this point and, being a major Star Wars fan, decided he was the Jedi Master type character. Then I saw the voice actor and went "HOLY CRAP, THEY GOT MARK HAMILL TO VOICE A GOOD GUY!?!?!? MUST SEE!!!" And yes, that is literally not only how I started watching BBS, but how my introduction to the KH fandom occurred. Thank you, Mark Hamill.

    I think the filled thrones was a mistake my Nomura (more on that later). After his fight with Riku, while MX was monologuing, Young Xehanort was in one of the thrones. Also, all the Xehanorts returned to their own time after DDD, and since Sora was to become the 13th, YMX is the 12th at most. There are times in DDD where Nomura goofed with the number of Organization members on screen. Remember the scene where Xigbar shoots a circle of arrowgun bolts around Sora and they all turn into Organization members? If you count, 12 bolts hit the ground around Sora. 12 shots, plus Xigbar himself, would make 13. However, this can't be right because the Organization only had 12 members at that point.

    This is a post from a Marvel-in-KH thread that I started awhile back: Personally, I could see this working. Put the MX in the place of Thanos/The Other and have the Organization/the Heartless/the Nobodies in the place of the Chitauri. It wouldn't be the first time we had a KH character take the place of a canonical character and break the plot of the film!

    I feel like Sora's armor would somewhat resemble Xion's final form from Days, and his helmet might resemble Vanitas' mask. Riku's armor might be reminiscent of his Dark Mode bodysuit... or we might even see the return of the suit instead of armor, considering that both ReCoM and DDD have plot points about Riku taking control of his darkness and using it for good. and considering that Vanitas' bodysuit was similar, maybe Riku will be the one with a Vanitas-type helmet. I'm really not sure about Kairi's. I will say that I hope they don't just recycle the TAV trio's armor. I want everyone's armor to be unique!

    I'd be glad if they put Oswald in, as long as it made sense in the plot and wasn't just a case of "Hey, let's put Oswald in and make the fans happy!"

    Yeah, and they left the crosshairs for Xigbar's sniper scope instead of turning it into three circles, which really took me by surprise... not that I'm complaining in the slightest. ^^

    All I know for certain is that Nomura has stated that there is a plot connection between Chi and the other games, and there are five Chi characters whom some believe may become (or may already be) vessels for Xehanort.

    I'm most interested to see what gives with Terra. I've heard multiple theories about where he is, his current state of existence, and how he'll return, and I find a fair number of them plausible, in addition to my own personal theory. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Nomura managed to surprise us with Terra. Either way, he's my favorite character and I'm ready to see him again.

    If the MX we saw in KH3D wasn't Terra's body being shaped by MX's heart, my theory is that Terra is one of the six hooded vessels whose face we never saw. Mickey: "There's me and Riku and Sora, and my three missing friends..." MX: "But Sora and another on your list belong to me now." A line earlier in the same cutscene makes it quite clear that Mickey's "three missing friends" are Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. As for "another on [the] list," Sora's already been mentioned, Mickey and Riku clearly don't belong to MX, and we know where Aqua and Ventus are. This just leaves Terra. YMX said that his mission from MX was to gather different versions of himself throughout time, so there's no reason why Master Xehanort, Terra-Xehanort, and Xemnas can't all be there at the same time. Also, Nomura has hinted that there's a plot connection between Kingdom Hearts Chi and the other games, and there's a theory that points to five Chi characters who might be future (or current) vessels for Xehanort. If this IS true, that still leaves the identity of one of the hooded Xehanorts from DDD in question. My primary theory is that Terra is one of the hooded Xehanorts, though I can also see the theory of Terra's body taking MX's form being true.

    It's basically the only truly happy memory Roxas has... sitting on the clock tower eating ice cream with his friends. Everything else is either just mission work or angst.
