    I would have been so happy if Shu just died in Guilty Crown. Seems like a more fitting ending to die together with Inori.

    Actually I would have to say with what Shu represents in the story, his fate was fitting.

    I admit it's fitting, it's just not the ending I'm happy with.

    I do agree it would have been a happier ending if he died. Though, I almost want to write an essay worth of information explaining why Shu isn't necessarily a savior of the human race, but still was the perfect person for the role he had in the story.

    Also, Monty Oum said that he wants the characters to age as fast as the viewers so wouldn't waiting until the summer mean that a huge time skip needs to be incorporated?
