  1. Glad they're paying closer attention to the competitive community.
  2. For some reason, I never really cared for the Scenes in a Hat segments in this show. I always preferred full-on skits over one-liners, especially between Collin and Ryan. Sound Effects, Whose Line, Helping Hands, Party Quirks, etc. were among my favorites.
  3. Man... I wish I had friends who liked Smash
  4. Even if Yoko's not in charge of this re-orchestration, the music still comes from.her. I'll just be ecstatic to hear it with live instruments.
  5. Agreed
  6. Apparently there's still new content they want to show that they weren't able to squeeze into the digital event.
  7. Did I read that part about the 2.5 soundtrack correctly? Hallelujah!
  8. I would think Kingdom Hearts II's soundtrack would be entitled to a re-orechstration since it used the same built-in tone generator as the first game. Anyway, I'll be patient. It's a fairly insignificant detail compared to the game's other updated content but I'm hopeful for at least some news in the near future.
  9. Can we just get confirmation that Yoko Shimomura is remastering the music for II.5? Is that so much to ask?
  10. Really? December? Ah well. At least they're finally acknowledging its existence after months of needless silence. Hopefully we'll learn more at E3.
  11. I read this as "Marluxia is graduating" for some reason
  12. Characters, by far. I kind of stopped caring for the overall story after playing BBS. That's not to say I don't completely follow it... but it's just become so convoluted that the only thing keeping me emotionally invested are the characters. Also, the music in this series is consistently phenomenal. Can't wait to hear the (hopefully) remastered soundtrack for 2.5
  13. Finally! Now... if only I could read it
  14. Didn't they bring back the original theme song for the current season?
  15. Last person I would expect to get Kingdom Hearts news from. ANY Kingdom Hearts news.
  16. I'm almost afraid to post now.
  17. I would think so. I would be a little surprised if they don't already have the fine points mapped out for the story and such. Still, it's fun to speculate.
  18. I suppose it really depends on the game, the mood and setting, characters, etc. I prefer visuals that can either compliment the story or make the gameplay experience more enticing. There has to be some kind of balance, by my standards. As far as Zelda U is concerned, I'm counting on a visually pleasing experience. Not necessarily for the sake of eye-candy, but simply because... well... it can! It won't take away from any of the game's other elements. In fact, many of the quality games I've purchased for the Wii U are so fun because they cater to the imagination with such colorfully enriching environments while still retaining so much classic charm and replay value. Again, it's all about balance for me. I feel that each area of a game's development (graphics, story, gameplay mechanics, etc.) should be utilized to their full potential, whenever possible.
  19. I'm talking in terms of atmosphere. It's where visuals usually play a huge hand.
  20. Of course story is important, but why shouldn't Zelda U take full advantage of the Wii U's graphics? Visuals are what help make modern games feel so cinematic and lifelike, which only serves to boost the atmosphere of the world to be explored. Pair that with a solid story and you end up with something spectacular and memorable.
  21. I asked about the release date, just to be a wise guy. Then again, after this long, it might be a perfectly acceptable question.
  22. It's not impossible. Would be a pleasant surprise, that's for sure. I didn't care for the replacement VAs at all.
  23. Agreed. We'd better get a goldmine of gameplay footage at E3.
  24. Kingdom Hearts 2014 Recap... so far: Nada
