Who is the Hooded Person on the KHUX 2nd Anniversary artwork?
I don't get how it could be Strelitzia's Nobody. Her heart was not lost to darkness. She was struck down just like what happened to Master Eraqus. There's no darkness. She fades away into the light with her heart going somewhere (perhaps to Kingdom Hearts or somewhere else). Her heart was not shown to be enveloped in darkness and transform into a Heartless, so no Nobody. It's very unlikely to be Luxu. Luxu went off to accomplish the role given to him. There's no reason for him to be here with these new Union leaders, unless he wants to pick one of them as his apprentice and pass down the Keyblade to them. That would be a very big revelation. But why though? On another note, it doesn't seem to be Luxu based on the artwork. He's also not associated with any flower before, unlike Strelitzia and Lauriam/Marluxia and even the Master of Masters himself (he held a dandelion in KHχBC and in KH2.8 box art). The person doesn't look to be like the Master or a foreteller. Any foreteller also doesn't need to wear a black coat. It's either Strelitzia herself (either before her "death" or after a possible resurrection) or a new character. By consistency, these are all the new Union leaders and the only person revealed so far who is related to them (except for the Master, Ava and the Player) is Strelitzia. So it's her or someone new (or old who's never appeared in KHUχ before).

How Long Will Union X Be?
The Union χ logo appears at the end of Quest 730 after the introduction of all five new Union leaders. This is just the intro and beginning. Note that I'm referring to Union χ, excluding Unchained χ. Unchained χ has either ended or approaching its end.

Who else would you like to see make a surprise appearance in KH Union X?
We don't talk about the logic of time travel in fiction because time travel is technically impossible. When I mean time travel, I know time travel by utilising time dilation (by strong gravitational force or by travelling at close to the speed of light and such) is possible. However, in fiction like in KH, time travel is in the form of transporting yourself from one point in time to another point in an instant. That causes a lot of problems with cause and effect as well as other problems. Therefore, no point in using the argument that time travel is problematic in fiction. It's fiction, after all. As for the explanation of how people like Ventus and Lauriam existing from the "age of fairy tales" until the present time, the means of time travel is just your assumption. It doesn't necessarily have to be time travel. There are ways to make someone retain their physical appearance for a long period of time, in fiction. Union Cross is still unexplained. The relation of Sleeping Worlds to this is just a theory. Reincarnation is never implied in KH (other than people reincarnating as Nobodies and vice versa) so it'a also a theory, albeit an unlikely one (though I'm not dismissing the possibility). These are no concepts, just plain theories made by fans. Even if they are, I don't really seem them as renowned for being problematic in other franchises majorly (excluding time travel, refer to my above explanation). I don't think this is "made exceptionally difficult without need it to be that way." In fact, I don't find any of this as being difficult at all. There are questions of hows and whys, but they are in no way "difficult". This is not about accepting things blindly. This is accepting the flow of the story. There's also no stereotype. We are completely oblivious to Ventus and Lauriam/Marluxia's past. I don't see any problem with them popping up here. There's no incoherence or any retcon. You seem to be misunderstood. This is the beginning of Union χ. Unchained χ has either ended or approaching its end. Quest 661 is the first quest after the transition to Union χ (in the JP ver). In between Quest 661 and Quest 730, there are different types of quests. From what I observed in the JP ver since the transition, quests that are released either by 5 or 10 quests each time are quests in Daybreak Town (not necessarily relating to Union Cross directly); and quests that are released by 15 quests each time are quests visiting other worlds. Since Union χ, there are a total of 40 Daybreak Town quests and 30 outer world quests (only two outer worlds so far). And mind you, if you're saying quests about other worlds are fillers, you might as well say the same to all the other KH games. You're contradicting yourself. You said you don't want any more appearances and yet you also said that Nomura wants to wrap up the stories of most of the characters in KH3 but it's hard to do when some of the characters' backstories are missing. How do you wrap up the stories when the backstories are missing? That's exactly your point, right? Then why complain about the appearances of existing characters in KHUχ? The backstories are why they're here. Like I said before, we don't know anything about Ventus and Lauriam/Marluxia's past. How do you know Union χ will not be finished by the release of KH3? Another assumption. I'm not saying that we should have many characters or even everyone to appear in KHUχ. That makes no sense. What has happened so far, is coherent. So I expect coherence in the future no matter whether another person appears again or not. I don't mind. This whole thing is just a stereotypical hate on mobile games. It has nothing to do with all of your irrelevant arguments. It's a mobile game; you don't play the game or watch the playthrough consistently; some existing character appears and you guys make a big fuss out of it by saying "no more, please." That's why you're giving all of these excuses.

Who else would you like to see make a surprise appearance in KH Union X?
I have no opinion on this. Whatever Nomura envisions the story to be, I accept it. KHUχ is part of the story just like any other KH title and it's a fact. What we've seen so far is literally just the intro of Union χ. Notice the game logo appears after the end of Quest 730. This is just the beginning. Of course there're gonna be questions.

I'm not sure what to do rn, basically stuck.
Orichalcum can only be obtained through story quests. You can also get one by equipping only Magic Medals in Proud Quest: Power LV 45 if you haven't done so. If you can get no more Orichalcum, then you can only rely on your Medals now.
-
I'm not sure what to do rn, basically stuck.
Hmm... With the current Medals in the game, it should be easy to beat Cerberus. Can you list down Tier 3 and above Medals that you have? Only Tier 3 and above. If there are guilted Medals, write down the guilt percentage. You don't have to take screenshots, just list them down. And since it's against Cerberus, you're using Three Wishes, right? What's the Keyblade level?

Unknown/Xemnas sampled Sora's memories to create Xion?
There's no direct mention or any statement but it's heavily implied when you piece things up together. I'm surprised as to how this is new to many of you here though since I thought this is the general idea. The process of creating Xion has definitely something to do with Sora. Sora's leaked memories of Kairi would not find themselves in a puppet (Xion) without a reason. Roxas possesses some of Sora's memories but the memories Xion absorbed were not directly from Roxas. I'll deal with what Xion absorbed from Roxas later on. When Vexen created Riku Replica, he had to gather data by fighting the real Riku (note that Vexen was already working on Riku Replica as mentioned in his Secret Report titled "Research Entry 326" and he needed to fight Riku to complete the Replica). As Xion is also a Replica, the procedure should also be the same. Xion was created before some of the members of the Organization were sent to Castle Oblivion. The only Organization member who has interacted with Sora before he was introduced to C.O. by Marluxia was none other than Xemnas himself. This is the proof that Xemnas collected the data for the No. i project. Whether Xemnas collected the data by phasing through Sora or by fighting him (or maybe even both), it remains unclear. We have seen evidence that collecting data or memories from a certain someone does not necessarily have to be phasing through that person (a lot of instances in KHRe:CoM) and can also be done through battles. The quotes that showed up on the black screen when Xemnas was phasing through Sora were mostly about Kairi but not all of them. Hence, there's no confirmation on this. So for the No. i project, Xemnas gathered the data from Sora for Vexen to finish the Replica. Xion was born in C.O. (implying that Vexen was based in C.O. even before they began the C.O. plan) and Saïx brought her to the Organization as Number XIV. Among the members, only Xemnas, Vexen, and Saïx (possibly Xigbar as well but it's a little unlikely) knew of Xion's true identity until it was revealed later to everyone. Axel killed Vexen partly because he couldn't risk the Replica Program from falling into the traitors' hands as stated in one of his Secret Reports, but he hadn't known that Xion was also part of the Program yet until he found out the truth about both Xion and Naminé after going through the late Vexen's research. Last but not least, I want to clear the misconception on who is Xion a Replica of. She's not a Replica of Sora but a Replica of Roxas. This has been stated by those who knew the truth about Xion including Axel, specifically in the Secret Reports. So that means the No. i project was already underway after Roxas was born and Sora's data was required to finish the project. The original purpose of Xion was to duplicate Roxas's powers and also absorbing them so that the Organization has another Keyblade wielder but ultimately, they only needed one of them so either Xion absorbs Roxas or Roxas absorbs Xion. However, Xion was beginning to form an identity of her own, thus preventing the hero of the Keyblade (Sora) from awakening by absorbing Sora's memories (and in turn, his powers) through Roxas, the Nobody of the hero. This was an unexpected side effect but was also beneficial to the Organization by keeping Sora asleep while having his power belong to them. This was also noticed by Naminé. All of this information can be found in the movie Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and the Secret Reports which are actually very important.

Response to Kotaku article (KH2)
I'm not sure the intent of the article but I totally disagree with the statement "Sora's fervour for Riku far outweighs his fervour for Kairi." Sora cares for both Riku and Kairi equally. They are both his best friends. The author is taking things out of context. Kairi was saved and she returned to the islands at the end of KH1. Sora promised to return and he didn't have to worry about her anymore. Ever since they closed the Door to Darkness, Sora and his gang were looking for Riku and King Mickey and that's their sole mission (until they found out more about Organization XIII and Kairi's kidnap). Before Sora met Riku-Ansem, he had no solid confirmation on the whereabouts and the condition of Riku. Mickey refused to relay any information due to a promise he made with Riku. Saïx taunted Sora not to "end up like Riku." Then, Sora and the gang received some clues left by Riku but they didn't know it was him. Sora found out that it was Riku in the black coat at The Land of Dragons but due to Xigbar's presence there also in a black coat, there's no proper assurance. Roxas later on informed Sora that he defeated Riku, making Sora doubt Riku's condition even though Donald and Goofy told Sora that it was just a trick. As for Kairi, Sora thought that she's safe back on the islands but he's told that she appeared in Twilight Town before being taken away again. After learning from Saïx that he had Kairi, Sora showed Saïx how important Kairi was to him by performing dogeza, a form of high degree prostration in Japan. When Saïx had the confirmation that Sora really did care for her and he refused to let Sora see Kairi, Sora immediately got furious. Finally, at The World That Never Was, Sora found that Kairi's safe and was fighting Heartless. This made him to stop worrying about her. They had a brief reunion and a hug and that's enough. Again, before meeting Riku-Ansem, Sora has never found and met Riku formally and has no assurance on his safety and whereabouts. After "Ansem" apparently helped Kairi, Sora even forwent all his anger and hatred towards "Ansem" and thanked him for saving Kairi. This again shows the importance of Kairi to Sora. Then, Sora discovered Riku's identity and has finally found him after all this time and wept that he looked everywhere for him. That's the reason why Sora was weeping. It's not because of "Sora's fervour for Riku far outweighs his fervour for Kairi." It's not because Riku is more important than Kairi to Sora. Sora was still looking everywhere for Riku ever since the end of KH1 while Kairi was already saved. It's only that in midway, Kairi appeared to be in trouble and this actually further distressed Sora. Kairi IS the fire that feeds Sora's anger. Saïx has proven that. But I'm not saying that there's a clear romance between them. Perhaps there is but it's not explicit enough. Nonetheless, Sora's care for Kairi is equivalent to Riku. The article emphasises on bromance and friendship, which is good since Kingdom Hearts is all about the power of friendship and the connection one makes to defeat the darkness. It also mentions the relationship between Axel/Lea and Roxas. However, it seems that the author is trying to bring down the romance between a male and a female in favour of bromance, with a biased view to attempt to overwrite Sora and Kairi's relationship with Sora and Riku's bromance. That, I cannot allow.

Have you really waited 10 years for KH3?
I didn't watch your video but I get what you're trying to tell people here. But I would like to point out one thing. Some people have waited ten years for KH3. The question isn't "Have you really waited 10 years for KH3?" It's actually "Have you really wasted your time waiting 10 years for kH3?" KH3 was never announced nor confirmed until E3 2013. For those of you who've waited before that, you have no one to blame but yourself. Don't try to push the blame to Nomura or SE. The ending and secret ending to KH1 actually teased KHCoM and technically KH358/2 Days (not KH2 as the scene was shown as flashbacks). KHCoM was the one which teased KH2. The ending and secret ending to KH2 actually teased KHcoded, KHDDD, and KHBbS. KHDDD, KH0.2, and KHχBC were the ones which teased KH3. Not exactly teasers but prologues. So you see, none of the numbered titles teased the next numbered title. There are also no official sources which confirmed that it's in development before E3 2013. To wait for an unannounced numbered title when there are many other non-spin-offs, is just not right. To wait for an unannounced title, any title at all, and then complain that it's not coming out, is simply idiotic.

What if KH3 is rushed...
Then, you don't think there are any plotholes in KH3D. So it's just that Alan Smithee guy who thinks so. And I thought I was that poorly informed to the extent that I just learned now there are supposed plotholes in KH3D ever since 2012. Guess that guy was just trolling. Sorry, I just thought that when you agreed with him, you also meant that Nomura isn't a perfectionist. That's development-wise, and we have no idea what happened to it to actually form a conclusion. The one with the highest probability is because of Nomura's busy schedule. Look up on his works and you'll find a long list of his contributions. Nomura himself is a big and major asset to the company both as a designer and a director, and that's why he's being used in a lot of projects. Even FF7R was not expected by him to be the director. The company put him in that position. FFV13 was perfect, maybe not in terms of development and production, but in terms of concepts and all the things shown in the trailers.

What if KH3 is rushed...
No, I'm not new to that. I see hate in every single thing. But I'm new to people saying that KH3D is a "plothole colony." Do enlighten me. What are the major examples of the supposed plotholes in the game? The only thing I can think about is the whole time travel thing since it's something undiscovered, full with paradoxes, and may have never been possible in the first place. But that doesn't make it a plothole. If it was, you can say the same for every fiction that involves time travel. Anyhow, whatever the plotholes may be, whatever the hate is about, you're taking one example of a game out of so many games and titles directed by Nomura and use it as a counterargument that he's not a perfectionist. Plus, hating something is just a personal opinion and that doesn't outright make it a bad thing. Plotholes, however, I need to see proper statements on that. Moreover, Komali made a good point. FFV13 was perfect, until Tabata made it a mess, claiming that he tried "to ensure the project could remain as true as possible to its original visions" by having Nomura as a co-director for a while before he was transferred away to other projects. It's still decent though but it could've been much better especially as a main FF title. Of course, I'm not saying that Tabata is a bad director. CCFF7 and FFT-0 were great. But when he takes over an ongoing project, he tried too hard to mix in his own concepts and ideas.
-
What if KH3 is rushed...
What plothole colony? I didn't notice any plothole.
-
What if KH3 is rushed...
Nomura would never release a rushed game. It's freaking Nomura the perfectionist we're talking about here. He won't listen to anyone to rush him. By the way, we don't know exactly when the development started. Since it's officially announced at E3 2013, we'll just say that it started that year. It makes sense anyway since it was in an extremely early development and Nomura even said that they announced it too early..

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Announced For PS4
I have no idea why. Their names are just Spiritus (villain side) and Materia (hero side). Yup, it's a reboot. It's a PS4 port of the new Japanese arcade game (not actually new anymore since it has been around 2 years). It'll be a totally new story written by writer Kazushige Nojima (notable for Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XV (as original writer), Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts II).

Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII Remake to be launched in "the next three years or so"
I know this is a very late response to this. But I just have to make this comment because there are things you said which are misconceptions and are just based on rumours or opinions and such. First, saying that Nomura is an "incompetent director" is a very false statement. Let's list out his works as a director. Final Fantasy VI (1994) — Graphic director. I know this is not the role of a video game director but at least he's being in charge in leading something. His job turns out great, right? Kingdom Hearts / Final Mix (2002) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). His first role as a video game director and the beginning of his own amazing video game series (as well as other merchandises like figurines, OSTs, books, manga, light novels, etc). It was superb and you cannot deny that. Also one of the best PS2 titles. Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories (2004) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). The GBA title. One of the best GBA titles, actually. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children / Complete (2005, 2009) — As the director (and designer). A CGI film. Not a video game, yes, but still part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII and it was a very good job done. Last Order: Final Fantasy VII (2005) — As the supervising director. Concept drawings and images were under his right to accept or reject. The production was said to be in "jeopardy" as many had to be redrawn. Nonetheless, the OVA was positively received, only that some fans were displeased with certain changes made in the OVA. Note that Nomura was not the director. Kingdom Hearts II (2005) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). It was undeniably one of the best PS2 titles alongside the first game. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ (2007) — A package that contains both Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. A good remake of the GBA title and the best Final Mix title with a lot of additions. Kingdom Hearts coded (2008) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). A bit of a lackluster since it was Japan-exclusive and only on mobile phones (not smartphones) but it was critically praised. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (2009) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). Again, easily and undeniably one of the best DS titles if not the best. The top criticism from critical reviews is "confusing plot" and of course that's what going to happen to new players when you didn't even touch any of the previous games to even try to understand the story. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep / Final Mix (2010, 2011) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). Need I repeat myself again? One of the best PSP titles. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (2010) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). A great remake and perhaps weaker than the previous DS title but still one of the best DS titles. Final Fantasy Versus XIII (2006 – 2012) — As the ex-director (and designer and other stuff) and scrapped into Final Fantasy XV. Based on trailers and concept designs, it was very good and promising. Another sign of him being a great director. Now, we don't know what actually happened that the production never ended up completed so don't assume. It was said that Nomura worked with Tabata as a co-director until 2013 "so the project could remain as true to the original vision as possible," until he was assigned to other projects. Laughable. FFXV retained almost nothing other than characters and locations and other stuff. Even character designs by Nomura were changed. Yes, ALL of them. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (2012) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). One of the best 3DS titles, again. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX (2013) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). A great HD remaster collection for both fans and newcomers. Kingdom Hearts χ / Unchained χ / Union χ (2013 – ) — As a co-director alongside Tatsuya Kando. A great PC browser / smartphone title also for both fans and newcomers. The story is accessible by everyone without having to pay a single cent. Yes, you don't have to pay just for the story. Heck, even I, as a F2P player gets access to things and features more than the story and I'm loving it. My only complain is the same as everyone else: better management of the game for the international version. It was also well received by critics, actually. To me, it's one of the best if not the best smartphone title. The other smartphone titles bore me easily after a certain amount of time. But this, this stays with me ever since its launch until now. That's more than a year already. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX (2014) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). A great HD remaster collection for both fans and newcomers. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (2017) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). It's the first title (or collection) in the series to have the release date delayed and also the first to have a worldwide release month. An amazing collection with an HD remaster of a previous title alongside two other new titles. This time I won't say that it's one of the best PS4 titles since PS4 has a bunch of outstanding video game titles. But to me, it is. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX (2017) — As the director (and designer and other stuff). A port of the previous two ReMIXes and the perfect collection for both fans and newcomers alongside KH2.8. Due to this, all current KH titles except for the smartphone title exist in one single platform which brings extremely easy access to every player. Kingdom Hearts III (TBA) — As the director (and designer and other stuff), simultaneously with FF7R. Looking VERY promising. Final Fantasy VII Remake (TBA) — As the director (and designer), simultaneously with KH3. Looking VERY promising. That took quite a while. Anyhow, I've proven how Nomura is not an "incompetent director". Every single video game title (as well as the CGI film) directed by him did not turn out bad (not a single one of them) and contrarily, they all turned out either amazing or at least decent. Just because your "beloved" KH3 and FF7R took way longer than YOU expected (and in fact, KHIII and FF7R took around 4 years and 2 years only, respectively, as of now), that doesn't show even the slightest bit that Nomura is an "incompetent director". That's just all your assumptions and opinions. No facts. Zero. Oh and by the way, no one has said that KH3, FF7R, and the Marvel collaboration are going to be launched until at least 2020. It says "in the next three years or so." Read. Not a single one of them is given a release year and let's just leave it on that note. FFXV resulting in a game not achieving the standard of any previous main FF title is totally not the fault of Nomura. To be fair, it had 4 years of development (around 3 years without Nomura doing any work). Almost everything in FFV13 was scrapped. Every single significant thing was changed: game engine, platform (from PS3 to PS4), development team, director, etc. Those changes would result in a project being either totally restarted or totally scrapped. They chose the path of restart, and it got worse. Long development cycles don't always guarantee a good game. That's true. However, long development cycles don't always guarantee a bad game either. I don't have time right now to find proofs and I am very sure that there are such games out there. Nomura directing two of the biggest AAA titles of the company which are also two of the highest anticipated titles around the whole world which also means the extremely heavy burden carried by Nomura, is NOT his fault. Nomura didn't even know that the's the director of FF7R until an internal company video was shown. I actually agree with you that Nomura shouldn't direct the game and that the original Kitase should do the job, but I disagree that it'll turn out worse than FFXV. Nomura's projects would never turn out bad with his past projects and proofs listed above. He's a perfectionist, as shown by one example in Last Order. One of the most important things that I want to talk about here, is about Nomura's busy schedule. Look up on all his contributions and works. You'll find a long list of it. He's a major asset to the company as a character designer, concept designer, artist, etc. He's always being used in a project every second. That sort of explains the development of FFV13 but of course I'm not confirming it. Right now, it's much worse. Both KH3 and FF7R in his hands. His hands are now definitely full. You still wanna say that he's an "incompetent director?" Last but not least, KH2.9 is never going to be a thing because it has ALREADY been released. This shows how ignorant you are by basing things off opinions without proper and simple research and knowledge. You're being ignorant and stubborn, seriously. I've given facts and proofs. You, on the other hand, only give opinions. https://www.khwiki.com/2.9_-_The_First_Volume This does not serve as a response to just Dio Brando. This is a response to every single person out there, KH fan or not, who are giving needless and unnecessary hate on Nomura. I hope this actually clears up any misconception because misconceptions are everywhere now, especially when we're talking about the KH community.

Unable to defeat Lingering Will in KH2FM
Hmm... On second thought. Standard Mode seems fine. Just follow my advice and level Sora up to level 99 and unlock all possible abilities. If you still can't beat Lingering Will after all that, watch some video guides some have posted here like the ones by Everglow and Soraalam1.

Unable to defeat Lingering Will in KH2FM
What difficulty mode are you playing on? Seems like Proud Mode. If so, by looking at your skills in the video, I recommend you to play Standard Mode. If it's Standard Mode, then play Beginner Mode. No offense. The only thing I can tell you now is to get Sora to level 99 and unlock all abilities available including Growth abilities (abilities from Drive Forms). About the 1 HP, you need Second Chance as well. Second Chance: Ensures 1 HP remains after taking massive damage. (which means any damage dealt to you when you have more than 1 HP won't kill you) Once More: Ensures 1 HP remains after taking damage from a combo. (which means any damage dealt to you before you do Aerial Recovery won't kill you)

Where can I find quests from 555 to 586?
No need to ask him anything. Quest 586 introduced Castle of Dreams which was not in the original KHχ so he started to do a playthrough from there in the Japanese version of KHUχ. In the English (global) version, the latest quest is only Quest 555. So you'll need to wait for the official English version of KHUχ to cover up Quests 556 – 585. Everglow won't do that in the Japanese version as that part was already in the original KHχ.
