I make the effort to study if only so I can justify my laziness afterwards.

I'm kind of leaning toward this as well. I mean, I never go out, but it's becoming very rare for me to see this person as well.

If you don't fit in, there's no need to force yourself.

The problem is I feel obliged to since we moved to a very strange area with no friends or family for a job. I want to get to know people and fit in, but I'm so different from everyone else and very few opportunities arise to even try striking up a conversation with these people. Isolation is tough, but trying to fit in with a crowd isn't easy or enjoyable, either.

Aww, thanks, Lea. : ) I'll take everything I can get! I'm hoping to wind up near the coast as well, as I love the beach. Something so amazing about waking up to the sound of waves and seagulls.

I'd try finishing Tales of Symphonia. As much fun as playing old games are, i'd rather dedicate time to something new and expanding your horizons with games.
