It was pleasing to see a new trailer showing us more of the gameplay, yet there was very, very little revealed about the plot in any way, shape, or form. We also have not seen any direct mentions of any Disney-based worlds so far, which makes it seem like the game itself shall only take place in Quadratum, like how "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is exclusively set in Midgar. Cutscenes do not count as visitable worlds, and Sora's Keyblade in the gameplay footage is the only plausible hint toward any new worlds for the series (unless that is a coincidence or a piece of content that shall be scrapped prior to release).
The logo for the series' 25TH Anniversary suggests the game shall be released sometime in 2027, so I sincerely hope we see a Disney-inspired world soon!!

The instant I heard about this trailer mentioned by the Novice Network in Final Fantasy XIV, I knew I had to view it. Looks like I shall have to preorder this game (and the next Final Fantasy VII title) twice!!

I was very shocked but also relieved to see the 2nd KH4 trailer show at the recent Nintendo Direct.
Hopefully this means we'll get another trailer sometime this year, with a Late 2027 release window.

I must've watched this trailer dozens of time at this point and felt any hype from it sadly. Quadratum is just very underwhelming as I feel they're capable of making something so much more compelling with it being an original named world. I get that it's supposed to be a copy/paste of Shibuya, but I feel like it's focusing too much on realism and doesn't have the KH style/soul to it. I'm hoping that other worlds look and feel more stylized and unique.

On a more positive note, I'm excited to see the roles Vali, Sigurd, Strelitzia, and Luxord play into the story. I wasn't surprised to see Xehanort back, but I wonder what his role will be here. I'm still optimistic for the game as a whole and will eagerly await the reveal of any other world in future trailers.

It was pretty exciting when I saw it! I was like omg and when I saw it did seem pretty amazing but my reaction was a lot more calm then most of the people who were freaking out over it. But I remember when I saw the screen shots those were pretty amazing too! Hopefully we see something at d23 2026 if they show anything there I will die!!!

It was between great and alright. Great that Square Enix showed Kingdom Hearts IV in a surprising way. Alright with what the footage showed (especially with the gameplay).

Hello Keyblade wielders! It's been a while since I've been on this website. But now I'm here because I just watch the brand new KH4 trailer on the Nintendo Direct 6.9.2026 stream! I was very surprised because I wasn't expecting any new Kingdom Hearts news lol. But now that they did I was very excited to watch some new stuff in the trailer. But the one thing that really got my attention was Sora's new Fire-Water Keyblade in the trailer, along with some brand new attacks/abilities. In the new trailer you can see that Sora's new keyblade is a mixture between fire and water.

I tried to get the best quality when I took this screenshot so sorry if it's blurry. But in this moment you can see Sora's new Fire-Water and I can't help to that maybe this new keyblade is based from Pixar's Elemental. Plus, the new abilities for this keyblade is potentially a reference to Ember and Wade from the movie. Lava Slash is obviously Ember, but Flowing Edge does sounds like a water ability because Wade's personality because I remember when Pixar's Elemental was first announced both the director and the film's original synopsis had describe Wade as "Describe as a go-with-the-flow guy." I know the example is not much, but the word "flowing" does sound very water like. So I have theory that Pixar's Elemental is potentially one of the new worlds in Kingdom Hearts 4. Personally I would love that because I find Elemental one of the good original Pixar films they made. And I think the Elemental's visual and characters would fit right in the world of Kingdom Hearts. And I think Ember and Wade would make great party members to Sora. So anyway that's the most interesting part in the new trailer for me. So what you think? You think Pixar's Elemental has potential to be in Kingdom Hearts 4? Or you guys have other interesting theories of what could Sora's new Fire-Water keyblade be based from? Later and May Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key!

That is an intriguing point. Personally, I would love to see "Robin Hood (1973)", "Pocahontas (1995)", "Coco (2017)", "Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001)", and "Zootopia (2016)" appear in Kingdom Hearts at some point, yet "Elemental (2023)" would be one of my close seconds to that list. Hopefully, we shall have some confirmation soon about Disney-based worlds in the game since pretty much all we have received thus far is the same world.

Due to this lack of details, I am starting to get the impression that "'Kingdom Hearts IV'" shall be the series finale. = (

I've pointed this out in the past, but after two year-long time skips since KH1, it's likely that Sora is at least 16 years old! As a result, he could learn to drive, which is terrifying. Imagine those clown shoes trying to hit the brakes.

Considering that people are keen on this theory, is it just me that I find another way to interpret it? While I prefer the MoM to be a new character, I don't really mind if he is somehow connected with Demyx in any shape or form. See, Demyx is a Nobody, but we don't know his real name or his original counterpart yet. Because what if Demyx's connection with the MoM is just as similar to Roxas being a Nobody to Sora but looks like somebody else like Ventus?

Ventus made a connection with Sora's heart when he was just a little boy and created a Nobody through Roxas who somehow looks like Ventus. Sora became a Heartless but thanks to Kairi he managed to regain his original form. Creating a scenario where Sora and Roxas can both coexist as their own beings. What if the MoM similar to Sora, he made a connection to somebody else's heart (Edym) and later created a Nobody through Demyx? The MoM mentioned that he had friends and allies who participated in the Keyblade War when he was just a young boy who later lost their lives against the 13 Darknesses. What if one of them is Edym? The MoM's lost friend.

Because the question now is what really happened to the Keyblade War that the MoM participated in? Other than losing his friends in the darkness.

(I discovered this some time back, and I now realized it hasn't been shared on here yet.)
So, it turns out Charles Kimbrough passed away on Wednesday, January 11TH, 2023, at the age of 86.
He was the voice of the gargoyle, Victor, in Disney's "'The Hunchback of Notré Dame (1996)'", Disney's "'The Hunchback of Notré Dame II (2002)'", and "'Kingdom Hearts 3D:  Dream, Drop, Distance'".  He also voiced the male Rainbow Face dinosaur in "'The Land Before Time VII:  The Stone of Cold Fire (2000)'", alongside voicing various backdrop characters in the Studio Ghibli animated film, "'Whisper of The Heart (1995)'".  He played lots of other characters over the years, too.
    He shall be missed . . . .

I would like to know how The Radiant Garden became the "City of Light".  Who established it?  Could Ansem The Wise be related to one of the Dandelions from "'Kingdom Hearts X Union Cross'"?  How did all those "Final Fantasy" characters end up there?  Plus, why does Merlin live there?  How did the Reconstruction Committee restore the place back to its original state nearly identically in about a year after KH2's conclusion?
