I went into the meeting excepting that I would have to nominate myself for chair. Not only did I get three nominations, but I also had no competition and they didn't even think I needed a co-chair. Total confidence booster.

It was great to see everyone again! I so want to see them all more often. I know I made the right choice. It made it a good day. Then I found out I made that Darling 4 and that made my day!

It feels like everyone else is enjoying being an adult while I'm trying to cling to childhood because adulthood sucks.

I think the Olympics are about unity. Sure, you want to have pride in your country, but the whole point is to realize that, on some level, we're all the same. We put our differences aside and take the time to see great athletes that come from all over the world, and that although we come from different backgrounds and places, we all come together for a common goal.

Blood work stinks. The worst part is listening to everyone talk about a sleepover you can't go to. It's like middle school all over again.
