It's kind of implied Kairi wanted to fight in KH1, but Sora and Riku were like "plz don't u will die, just run/stay here". Which is true lol. But anyway, yeah, you're right. We don't how how her character might develop. It just feels kind of unnecessary when we have Kairi & Xion. I'm also worried it would make the three too similar. That aside, I actually think she might have the ability. She's the nobody of a Keyblade wielder, who got what was needed to make her physical form, from another Keyblade wielder. So, I think Namine has a good chance. If a puppet made from Sora's memories could, why not a nobody who took a (if small) piece of him? Another thing in her favor is that Lea managed to, and Strelitzia (a character with similarities to Namine) was obviously a wielder, even though we don't see it. I think if she absolutely had to, maybe she would try. I do wonder what Keyblade would appear if that happened. She's her own person now, so probably her own? But Xion still has the Kingdom Key somehow, so maybe not.

Since I'm Australian, I read Myde as my-duh (with a soft "duh"). Google translate (English side, obviously) says it the same way I do. I think it sounds nice as a name, tbh. I'm going to hope it's that one, but they will probably make it "Dyme" dyme & ludor or myde & ludor

One of the things I like about the 358/2 days manga, is it actually kind of shows how replicas are made. I know it's not canon, but perhaps Shiro receives input like the novel writer does. Here (and in KH3) they look like dolls, that become human with a heart, I guess? But this.. looks more like full on human cloning lol not disturbing at all. That would fit what vexen said about being "more human", tho did...did saix just look at a naked 14 year old since it's kairi's 14 year old body oh god

^I'm all of this, and that to me it felt like fangirl pandering. That would explain certain plot decisions. I don't hate that Lea got a Keyblade, I like him, but it was obvious fan-service. Dude was originally going to be killed off "for good" (though, that probably wouldn't have lasted). Kairi was probably always going to get one, since it was planned before KH2 in order to be in KH2. Yeah, they took a while to get to her training, but she received it in 2. Why couldn't we have Kairi and Lea training in this game instead? I'm probably wrong, and just being salty, but that was feeling the game gave me 6/7 years ago thattoenjjoythisgameyoumustbeasorikufan

Being essentially the baby of two keyblade wielders (three if you believe Ventus loaned her the blonde, lol), i think it's possible, but you also probably have to want to. Namine just isn't a fighter. And that's not a bad thing. Not all the female characters need to fight. Then again, she was going to throw hands at Saix with Kairi, lol Yes? Every keyblade wielder has a reason. Sora was forced into it and then wanted to because it allows him to help others. Strelitiza was forced into it. Xion was forced into it. Ventus was forced into it, probably. Terra & Aqua were raised as wielders. Kairi wanted/wants to aid Sora and Riku and the fight at large. Lea wanted to for the same reason and get his friends back. Riku looked up to Terra. etc,etc
