  1. I've always enjoyed having you as the host Rikunobody, and it would be awesome and an honor to be a player in your RPs once again! Also: welcome back! I hope life has been treating you well since your disappearance from the forums!
  2. [Yen Sid's Tower] Four eased his finger off the trigger as Tanner reassured the Guardian that it would be 'impossible' to kill him. Not really taking the idea of invincibility at face value and more than willing to test the claim, he lowered the rifle ever so lightly so that the energy barrel of the weapon was aimed at the stranger's feet. His face was still resting on the rear stock of the rifle, still pointing in the same direction as it was for an immediate redraw. "Anyway... Waffles." Four was slightly disturbed at the stranger knowing the name given to him by Kairi, but was quick to keep it under control. Was Kairi blabbing about me and her accidental naming of me after my decommissioning? "I am Tanner Natoosh Tempus. I wouldn't call me a friend, but that's because we don't know each other yet." "Fair enough. Go on." "I'm sure you're wondering why I'm here. Well, my job is to nudge history in one way or another. I've done it since me and my sister first discovered the mystical Kingdom Hearts, well before the first Keyblade was forged. Anyway, enough about my immortality, what ZaZick is doing, and what he has done to the worlds, is appalling. Now, normally I'm not actually allowed to interfere directly, and push for one outcome or the other, but..." Four's gaze hardened as his finger touched the trigger again. "I did that for a few reasons, I wanted to break up my little speech. Too much in one place can be harder to comprehend. Anyway, I'm not allowed to push for one future over another, but ZaZick offended me personally by imprisoning my sister. You have to understand that, when you've been alive as long as we have you learn not to get too attached to people, because watching them die becomes too painful. My sister is the only person I know who I wont end up outliving. So, I'm going to get her back, which means I'm going to help you. Anyways, this sphere... shows a destroyed future, which will happen if you fail. I'm entrusting Kya to this, because you others I don't know yet." As Tanner took his first step towards Kya, Four broke away from his combative posture and assumed a more relaxed stance as he lowered his rifle, cradling it in his arms. If the stranger trusted Kya, and Kya is an identified ally in this mission, well maybe this guy isn't so bad after all... "I've never met you before..." Kya responded to Tanner. Well, that's awkward. Not my problem though... "So," Four spoke, "how do you intend to help? Or is that orb the help you were referring to?" It was now that he noticed Yen Sid in the room. "Commandant..." he said, acknowledging the presence of his superior, "it's been a while, sir."
  3. [Yen Sid's Tower] Four had braced himself on the wall right next to the door, rifle in hand and was just about to commence a breaching maneuver into the room when Gaku relayed his observation. "Two figures. The older one with the beard I would assume is Yen Sid and some adult. Talking about prophecies or some sort. I do sense powerful magic inside there, but nothing of harm. I assume they are already expecting us, so go knock on the door." He decided not to execute property damage, and instead pushed open the door with a swiftness that was almost the same thing as breaching it. The guardian rushed inside, back hugging the closest wall as he drew his rifle and side stepped towards the right. All it took was a moment for him to target Tanner as his rifle was already trained on the stranger, who was a little too close to Yen Sid for his own comfort. "Identify yourself immediately!" Four barked, hoping that he was just overreacting and not actually needing to fight anyone.
  4. [Traverse Town] Luna nodded quietly at Indy's response to her question. It made a lot of sense, allowing her to relax a little as she continued her investigation. The layer of dust on the furniture gave her all the evidence she needed to confirm Indy's remark; if there was any recent activity, it would have been obvious. She was careful not to disturb the place, only leaning in to get a closer inspection of things when needed rather than moving anything around. After careful inspection of the area, she was just about to announce 'all clear' when the sounds of spawning nobodies caught her immediate attention. So much for no activity... she thought to herself as she turned to face the new threats. She was quick to assess the area and the situation; there were plenty of tables and chairs around the place that could be turned over to make some cover or thrown as a weapon. But, she noticed, it could pose a fire risk to everyone in the area and the building itself. They were smart to attack us here. This may be outdoors, but it looks like fire magic can't be used here without having it hurt us as well. Just as she completed her line of thought, Indy's fire spell screamed past her, undoing her entire line of thought. Wanting to take the battle to the wide open area in the middle of First District, she made a point to use the environment to her advantage as a barstool flew towards a nearby berserker, followed by her own keyblade as she attacked it with a strike raid.
  5. I GOT LABS AND EXAMS THIS WEEK SO MAYBE I CAN POST SOON?!
  6. [Twilight Town] Lumina had finally made it into town after following the makeshift trail she had paved for herself from earlier. Her fox-like ears twitched to and fro as she enjoyed the ambient sounds of the town, picking up the random conversations from the inhabitants that called this beautiful place home. The scents and dazzling sights of the nearby shops caught her attention, but held short of giving in to her impulse as she remembered about Noise and why she invited her out in the first place. She turned to face her assistant with a warm smile. "Well here we are, Noise," she gently told her, "Do you have any idea where we should start?" Lumina had a very generic idea on where to start looking for clues for someone who has forgotten their identity, but was hoping that Noise had an innate sense on where to go. As she looked around to take in the sights just a little bit more, a strange figure in the distance caught her attention. Lumina stared for a bit, then dismissed the robed person as just another stranger as she returned her gaze towards her servant. The idea of finally giving Noise the chance to find out her true identity and return her to where she belongs was both a terrifying and an exciting idea for Lumina. She eagerly awaited for their adventure to start, albeit wary of the stranger in the distance.
  7. [Yen Sid's Tower] Four sighed heavily after Kya told him what had happened on the tram. He looked over to Zion who was standing right next to her, and looked at the trinket. It was already disturbing to now know that a lieutenant had been encountered, but what really got his attention was the condition of the trinket. A stain of red, a chip off a shell and Zion's mournful expression was more than enough for him to jump to a grim and dark conclusion... He stayed respectfully quiet for a while as he stared at the trinket, letting the new information sink in. Thank the light the lens isn't on right now. She'd hate me if it was. But... Zion has apparently faced them before. So, this isn't an entirely new encounter. Just as he was about to open his mouth to attempt comforting Zion, Jacob's voice in the distance caught his attention. "Guys!" the boy exclaimed, "Something's happening up there. We should probably take a look." "Oh crap." were the words that escaped his lips as he started walking past the two girls and towards the tower doors. "We need to move in, now. Maybe a lieutenant is in there?" The idea wasn't too far fetched, and his subconscious agreed as his arms instinctively moved to ready his rifle, which was now cradled in his arms and ready for action. Can't seem to get a break on this assignment. Lets hope Yen Sid is ok and we're not too late... He went inside the tower and walked up the staircase. Years of stealth training had made his footsteps dead quiet without much thought from him, and Four was able to make good time heading up the staircase with his rifle at the ready, fully expecting trouble.
  8. So while you're gonna be relaxing, ALL OUR CHARACTERS ARE GONNA BE DED
  9. [Outside Yen Sid's Tower] "Ow! Son of a... Oh, it's just you. You know, you should really watch where you're going..." Four took Violet's hand and managed to pull himself back onto his feet. "I'm sorry," he said, "I'll be sure to be more careful next time." He was completely serious and took Violet's accusation at face value, despite Kya saying otherwise. "You ran into him." "I think she's right." He interjected, "I shouldn't have stood in front of that door." Dusting off the dirt on his outfit, he followed Kya's gaze towards Zion and noticed both her worrying gaze and Zion's somber demeanor. "Hey Kya... What happened on the tram? I wasn't able to see much through the windows and my scope. Mind filling me in?"
  10. [Traverse Town] Luna's acute sense of hearing allowed her to notice that the ship's engine were slowly idling until she was pretty sure they were just on standby. "I think we've landed." she announced to the group, and the disembarking students confirmed her suspicions. She followed them, and soon found herself in the First District of Traverse Town. What immediately struck her as odd was the emptiness of the place. There were no people to be seen, and that alone made Luna on edge. "Wait...Paki. You know what this means? We'll get to see Nana again...We'll see Nana one more time! To see Nana again...Heh." "Seeing that woman after 3 years. I wouldn't mind." "Something's not right here..." Luna quietly remarked to anyone who cared to listen to her. "Where is everybody?" Emphasizing her point, the unmistakable sound of her keyblade being summoned echoed the district as she gripped the weapon firmly. Spotting the cafe, she promptly made her way over to start an investigation, looking for signs of recent activity and trying to figure out why it the district was so... empty.
  11. Creating enemies is solely a host responsibility. Players aren't allowed to create enemies unless allowed by the host.
  12. [Twilight Town] Four would be lying if he said that he didn't enjoy having Zion sitting on his lap. Unfortunately for him though, Zion got back up, but that's besides the point. More importantly, he was on assignment, and the gummi ship updating him on a new situation was a sad reminder that he won't be able to appreciate certain joys completely until he was done with his service, if he's lucky enough to survive to see the end of it. The sad train to Depressionville was thankfully delayed as Zion placed her hands against his cheeks. Four's thoughts halted completely as he looked into her golden eyes, wondering what she was doing. His heart fluttered at the sight of the beautiful face that completely filled his view and caught his attention. As she gently tilted his head down ever so slightly to kiss him on the forehead, he felt his cheeks getting just a little warmer and could have sworn that his heart skipped a beat. "Z-Zion," he stammered, "what... was that fo-" Before he could complete his sentence, he felt her warm, soft lips pressing against his own, and it was at that moment that he blanked out completely. Cherishing the moment, he too took a soft breath in, and as their lips parted, gently released it. "Woah..." he softly breathed, his mind unable to process what had just happened. It wasn't a sensation of fireworks going off in his head, but rather the sensation of having his entire mind turning off then turning back on again. His heart begged for more, but with his head finally back up and running, was able to quickly liquidate such feelings. "...I got it." she finally replied, "Enjoy your breakfast...it's the most important meal of the day." She walked off, and was soon on her way to wherever she was needed, leaving Four back in the restaurant, definitely dumbstruck, possibly love-struck, and a hearty dish of piping hot steak freshly served on his table. His tacpad vibrated again, and Four was quick to check out the small screen on his left forearm. The images being relayed to him showed the tram with some familiar and unfamiliar occupants, and Zion apparently teleporting inside it. Pressing a few buttons at the bottom of the screen, he was able to have the Overwatch targeting optics zoom out just enough to identify what line the tram was. That's the line that leads to Yen Sid. This is worse than I thought. He flagged down the waitress and told her that he has to cut his time short, giving her explicit directions to donate his dish to any local orphanage of her choice within the hour, and munny to cover the meal plus a courtesy tip to 'incentivize' her to carry out his request. And with that, Four was out of the restaurant and started bolting towards a nearby rooftop. Once he was on top of one, he started running in the general direction of the tram and glanced at his forearm. The ship had located him and superimposed a dot on his location relative to the surroundings being seen by the optics, and Four was quick to notice certain rooftops that would give him the ability to intercept the tram. It wasn't long before he landed on one, where he quickly dropped prone and assembled his rifle. It was practically an instantaneous action; he had it dowm to muscle memory, and all he had to do was plug the barrel of one into the buttstock of the other and smack the scopes together. A quick movement with his arm was all it took to arm and configure the rifle into the sniper shot, and he quickly sighted the tram through the scope. He saw Zion through the windows, along with Harmony, Jake, Violet, Kya, and an unknown person that everyone was looking at. Connecting the dots, Four set the crosshairs right on Victoria, but waited. Since there was no active engagement, and from his point of view no imminent threats of a fight, he had no choice but to wait until someone made the first move. He watched as the stranger tossed something towards Zion and disappeared into a portal. Damn. Got away. He had just managed to see Zion pick it up before the tram's window angled away from him, forcing him to unlock his sights. Thinking that it would be proper to meet everyone over at Yen Sid's tower, Four called his gummi ship over to his location. At the Clock Tower, The Overwatch quietly removed itself from its perch, its active stealth concealing itself from the denizens of Twilight Town below. It was only after his seeing himself on the tacpad that Four was able to discern its location next to him and walked up the boarding ramp. After manning the cockpit, he flew the invisible ship over towards Yen Sid's tower and landed next to it, disabling the ship's stealth only after clearing away from Twilight Town. Once it landed, he exited the craft, and patient waited near the boarding ramp until the tram arrived. He didn't have to wait for long, and when the tram arrived, Four walked over until he was standing a relatively safe distance from the doors. When it opened, instead of having its occupants slowly walking out, Four was met with a face full of Violet as the girl ran out and steamrolled him and a solid "oomph!" escaping from his mouth. Face up and on the ground, he was slightly dazed due to the impact, but also surprised at the amount of energy the blonde girl seemed to have. Well... She's a rather precious ball of sunshine. And thinking about our situation now, we're gonna need it... [His restraining lens is off, so his 'appearance' has changed. Aside from now wearing a trenchcoat, where the lens used to be, his left eye is exposed now. Iris is a glowing neon blue, contrasting his ghastly grey right eye. Can be commented on ]
  13. [Twilight Town] Four had managed to find himself in the town's most prestigious steakhouse after a quick search on Moogle. After getting a seat and ordering the biggest steak dish with maple bacon on the side, Four patiently awaited for his 'breakfast' as the waitress who took his order went into the kitchen. The environment was luxurious to say the least with fully clothed tables, soft glowing lights and actual silverware. He breathed in the cool conditioned air and sighed in exhaustion; no matter how much he trains, every high intensity response will always leave him exhausted. It was cozy in the restaurant, and after a quick search of the place, he managed to find the daily newspaper in a stack near the bar. After returning to his seat, he skipped most of the pages that were in it, stopping to read only certain articles that either entertained him, or could be related to ZaZick and this whole ordeal. The very thought of sitting in a restaurant while supposedly being on assignment was an uncomfortable one for him, and the fact than an all powerful adversary could appear at anytime to end this supposed 'game' would be nerve wracking for most people except for Four, who considers it "an average Tuesday." A sizzle could be heard echoing in the kitchen, and shortly after, the sweet aroma of a steak being grilled over some mesquite wood filled his senses and the serving room. He had just finished folding and putting down the newspaper when a person out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. He looked over towards the entrance of the restaurant and was, for the second time ever, blown away by who he was looking at. There at the door, approaching him with a smile that seemed a little too forced, was Zion. Her short golden hair seemed to radiate its own light as it reflected the cozy glow of the lights that illuminated the room; almost as much as the golden eyes that were now looking directly at him. It starkly contrasted his neon blue left and the ghastly grey right eyes of his own, and he couldn't look away no matter how much he was subconsciously trying. It was obvious to her that he was staring, his mouth slightly agape as he took in the full beauty that was now standing right next to him. "...Hey...Cody." she whispered to him with a tinge of sadness, "...can I abuse a friend and sit around?" Her choice of words caught his attention, and because of it was able to thankfully break out of her almost hypnotic beauty. "Don't say that, Zion," he softly replied, "seeing you and being with you is more of a privilege, actually." As she came closer to sit on his lap, his heart started beating faster. It was now that Four was able to not only appreciate how beautiful she is, but also noticed that her eyes were a little puffed up and red; the telltale signs of crying. The pieces all came together as Zion now sat on his lap. She was light and toned, and feeling her warm body pressing up against him, his arms appeared to have a mind of its own as they tenderly hugged the girl that was conveniently sitting between them. Her silky golden hair had scented notes of honey as it gently caressed his face, and once again Four was under her spell. He had always viewed Zion as a friend of the Corps and sometimes as a security threat. But now that his restraining lens was off, he was able to let his heart feel whatever it wanted to and for first time ever, saw Zion not just as a friend... but as a girl. It was now that he finally realized: Zion really is a goddess. "Zion," he gently whispered into her ears from behind, "You seem sad. What's wrong?" Over at the clock tower, The Overwatch hovered above it. It wasn't really doing much of anything except serving as a very mobile electronics platform for its master, who was being stupefied by a goddess somewhere in the town. Its optical cloaking and stealth made it virtually invisible to everyone and everything except for its master, those who know of its existence, and anything unfortunate enough to fly into it. As Violet and Victoria made their heated exchanges in the tram headed towards Master Yen Sid, the scanning sensor on the Overwatch lit up: It had detected a spike in darkness aboard the tram. The ship sent an urgent message to its master, and awaited for his instruction... Back at the steak restaurant, Four's arm mounted tac-pad vibrated underneath his coat. He knew that it would only do that if the ship detected a threat while away, and would need to promptly respond. Shaking off his feelings for the moment, he playfully poked Zion on her belly. "Zion... Something bad is happening. C'mon, we need to go."
  14. If you want your characters to have some interaction with the others, you'll need to find a way to send them over to Twilight Town. That's where everyone is at right now.

  17. [Twilight Town] Four was confused when Violet broke into a laugh, and was quick to look around to see if maybe he could spot the source of her entertainment. He would have been disappointed from not being able to find it, but thanks to the restraining lens, the guardian thought nothing of it as he returned his attention to the girls and patiently awaited for Violet to regain her composure. "Well... Now, we spend some time in town." She finally stated, "Gather supplies for the journey, and whatnot. You can... Do whatever, strange guy." "Thank you, Violet." was his reply as he now watched the others go about their business. There wasn't a hint of sarcasm in his voice whatsoever; in fact, some might argue that he actually sounded appreciative. Four took her statement at face value and, despite not actually taking orders from her, decided that she had a good point. Seeing Kya addressing Violet in a quiet tone, he was unable to hear what the two were talking about and dismissed his attention as he checked in on the others. Seeing Sasuke, he made a note about his ability to clone himself before another voice caught his attention. "I'm going to head to Master Yen Sid's tower." He heard Jake say, "He may know something about this ZaZick guy." As Jake made his way over to the tower, Four was quick to access his tactical pad and send a message to Yen Sid, warning him of an incoming visitor. As it turns out, the organization that Four has been affiliated with was directly commanded by none other than King Mickey and Yen Sid. It would be interesting to finally see his 'commandant' after so many years, and see the person who ultimately authorized his 'awakening' from stopga sleep. But before he would do that, the guardian needed to do some shopping first. Time is very unforgiving to food, and Four was pretty sure that the dried-foods in the gummi ship storage needed to be replaced anyways. Thankful that he disposed of all perishable foods before going into stopga sleep, Four disembarked his ship via the access hatch he popped out of and finally set foot on the solid ground. A few taps on the pad, and the gummi ship started to rise into the air once again as the optical cloaking kicked in. The ship started to 'disappear' from the nose first, and the usually loud engine noise was reduced until it sounded like someone was quietly blowing air through their lips. The ship finally hidden from civilian eyes, Four slapped his armored pauldron to disguise himself as one of the locals. The armor disappeared in a bright flash, and was replaced with Four's civilian clothing: a casual outfit with a trenchcoat to hide his secondary weapons holsters that were underneath it. After holstering the sub-rifles, Four gripped his restraining lens, and braced himself before removing it from its usual position over his left eye. The pain was sharp, feeling as if someone drove an icy dagger through his eye socket, twisted it, then removed the weapon. Fortunately for him though, the pain is instantaneous and short, allowing him to not scream in agony as he growled for a short while. It was a security measure for the thing, to discourage its user from removing it once it has been put on. But Four knew he would stick out like a monotone, professional sore thumb if he was to keep it on when venturing into a public place. After placing the lens inside one of his pockets, Four took a deep breath, and looked over at Violet and Kya. "I'll be in the market," he softly told the girls, a far cry from his usual tone, "so if any of you need me for any reason, you know where to find me." And with that, Four started making his way into Twilight Town, really wanting to get some ingredients to cook up his signature dish of a mean slab of steak, but only after stopping by a steakhouse restaurant first. Sure, he had technically slept for only eight hours and was supposed to eat breakfast, but given half a chance Four would definitely prefer a hearty slab of steak over some measly bacon and eggs dish for breakfast any day. But, since breakfast is the most important mean of the day, Four will have to compromise: He will have to order some bacon strips, along with a steak dish...
  18. Somehow I'm not surprised. I remember reading about the 'Bonus Army' protests of 1932. The government has always abused their veterans and always will.
  19. [The Overwatch.] Four was caught between his instinctive reaction to pull the trigger on the aircraft's weaponry and adherence to his organization's 'Protocols of Escalating Force' as Gaku made a mad dash towards his ship and thus, him. Quickly enacting an alternative solution to the extremely tense situation, he commanded the ship to break away as it banked hard to the side and increased output to its thrusters. As he did, a different set of alarms rang in the cockpit as sensors picked up the spawning invisibles. A few taps on the glass console was all it took for the defensive turret to pop up from the top center section of the ship with it's dual autocannons primed and ready to go. As Four glanced at the targeting screens, he was quick to notice Gaku focusing on the heartless before quickly grinding away towards the distant boat. The proximity sensors stopped blaring, telling him that everything was cleared. So we share a common adversary then. Four pulled on the controls once again as he commanded the turret to recede into the airframe, causing the ship to point up towards the sky once again as the ship accelerated forward. With Gaku being declared a 'neutral' party, Four shifted his attention back to protecting the boat as he once again made the ship fly in a defensive circle above the boat, the usual weaponry at the ready and more than eager to continue their onslaught of whatever its master declared a threat. Patrolling the area, the ship's sensors detected Lightning as she ascended towards the skies. The targeting optics zoomed in, and Four was quick to identify that she had originated from the boat and deemed her 'nonthreatening.' The whole situation cleared up, Four resumed his protection as the ship followed the boat below until it finally reached land. As Violet and Kya disembarked the boat, Four brought his gummi ship to land nearby. The engines quickly idled as Four stood up from the captain's seat and jumped, then gripped the access ladder above him as he started his climb towards the emergency hatch that he used not too long ago. From Violet and Kya's viewpoint, a small panel above the cockpit of the gummi ship flipped open like a tank hatch, and Four's armored helmet popped up like one of those whack-a-mole arcade games. His green visor looked at the two girl's direction, before a voice finally addressed the two. "What happens now?" he asked, completely unaware of their plans since he wasn't on the boat to hear what they had to say or where they were going to go.
  20. So what's the status of the boat? Is it still on destiny Islands or is it sailing away now?
  21. It pains me to hear that a tragedy has befallen you and your family. Even more so is the fact that this exact scenario is one of my biggest fears. My condolences on the passing of your father, and may you and your family remain strong during these trying times. May your father forever rest in peaceful slumber.
