The outfits were probably just a placeholder, it wouldn't be wise to bring back such major mechanics. Besides, why would they bring them back when even story-wise they are now useless?

I know that an actual game would be cool, but, guys, we have to be real: there's no way Nomura can make a full-fledged video game out of BBS V2 without further delaying development for Kingdom Hearts III. He himself stated that there won't be any new entry before Kingdom Hearts III, which leaves no room for many choices: Nomura will have to tell BBS V2 story in a possible Kingdom Hearts 3D HD ReMIX or in Kingdom Hearts III. Or better still in a CG film, but long time ago, unfortunately, he said he wouldn't make CG films for Kingdom Hearts, so we have to discard such possibility unless dear Nomura here changes his mind. A manga or, hell, a Novel, might just as well be worthy candidates.

Nomura stated that Kingdom Hearts III will be the final game of the Xehanort Saga, so of course, if there was a Birth by Sleep Vol.2, it couldn't come out after Kingdom Hearts III. I'm positive Nomura won't make a game out of BBS V2, however, I'm expecting him to include those events in a possible Kingdom Hearts 3D HD ReMIX or in Kingdom Hearts III, like someone else said already.

I think that you didn't really write an ending, lol. And sorry, but Phantom Blot would be pathetic as the main villain of the second Saga, and why would Maleficent be the main villain in a possible third one, when she's already the second principal after Xehanort and his vessels? I don't think Nomura would ever use "leftovers" as major foes for upcoming Sagas.

Square Enix cares a great, huge, gigantic deal. Perhaps most of top management cares solely for money, but the development team and Nomura himself care a shitload for Kingdom Hearts.- Disney cringes at the words "Kingdom Hearts".I don't know what are you driving at with this.- Everyone has to pay $400 for a new console to play it.Oh, right! So they have to make it a PS2/PS3 game just because you don't want to buy a PS4, of course! As if the same concept doesn't apply to other titles: one has to buy a PS4/XB1 for any other next-gen exclusive.
