  1. I know I really laid it down on the Slenderman, but if you did my percentage thing for a human celebrity. Chances are you would find a very small percentage of people that are willing to kidnap the human celebrity, and possibly a small percentage that would kill those who they think wronged the celebrity. It is just a matter of obsession. And my little bit at the end of promoting basically celebrities instead of slenderman, was because I assume most of the extreme cases aren't put in situations where they are drawn to do horrible crimes. Though remember I am not doing scientific studies on this matters, just pulling the stuff from memory and the internet. Both of which could be faulty. In my opinion the talk I did CAN be good for debate, exploration, or forming ideas. But no one can no if it is true. And basically all talks that just pull stuff from memory and cases on the internet should be scrutinized or at least have flaws pointed out. Because if they are just forming ideas based on specific events, they can easily be mislead with their train of thoughts.
  2. A bit over a year ago, I payed attention to some sites that were flooded with roleplayers, people confused about potentially seeing paranormal happenings, and potential attention w****s. And oddly enough the talk about Slenderman was basically bigger than all other sections combined. There were most posts and threads relating to Slenderman than vampires, unicorns, werewolves, fairies(faeries), ghosts, dragons, and more all combined into one.... The I don't think the Slenderman is real or anything like that, though even if he isn't real he does have some power over people's imaginations. The more something resonates with people, the more it effects them. So if Slenderman is resonating with so many people, then yes you will have people who obsess and look up as many stories about him as possible (which probably many are put on CP). And some percentage of those will take a liking to a specific story or mythos for Slenderman, and then a small percentage of that percentage might become Slenderman worshipers. And probably a percentage of them think slenderman demands them to get blood for him.So in other words, don't degrade people obsess over Justin Bieber, boy bands, and movie stars, since it usually ends up with less murder.
  3. "Hey you must be Roxas, because when I'm around you I feel like I have a heart."
  4. I wasn't actually aiming it at you, I was aiming it at the last one in the OP. Sorry for not clarifying that.
  5. My reaction after that last pun...
  6. Since I grew up on collectathon platformers, KH1 was my favorite.Lets see:You had platforming everywhereMini puzzlesMini-games that were near seamlessly crafted into normal game play. (Though KH II did do that in the prologue)I like Sora the best in KH 1 I liked collecting the dalmatian puppies.I liked finding the trinity marks.KH1's story seemed less flawed than KHIIAnd nostalgia
  7. "How to be a functional human being."
  8. Will you keep enlightening us with topics just like this one?
  9. A teacher who wants to tell you that 0 = Donuts because it is shaped like one. 0_0How did I not notice that until you called it evil!?!?
  10. Hmm the Xbra and XBAAX do sound interesting... The bra might work because it is only one... Though the XBAAX has 2 as in a row and might be disqualified for that. But it is fun to say a few times. That being said... The Xbox Omega I stated would probably never exist, because omega is not a first letter... That sounds like a diet beverage. The Xbox Zero, the new revolutionary weight loss system!
  11. Also we need to find fake Kira and get her to stop crushing on real Kira.
  12. Shhhh, don't alert them I was misleading them with the talk of the Omega. When the Omega didn't come they would have all been norted.....
  13. That's what happens when you click a thread that has lies in the tags. Mission Accomplished. Edit: Either way, you all have been warned, beware the sign of the Xbox Alpha. BEWARE! For it heralds the coming of the Xbox Omega. That being said the Xbox Alpha will be a really nice system, but its success will bring the Omega.
  14. Microsoft hid it in plain sight, or at least a likely solution to all the hints they gave us.The first Xbox was simply called Xbox. And the first in the series is usually represented by the number one....The second Xbox was called the Xbox 360, and 360 degrees=1 revolution aka starting right where you left off.The third Xbox was called the Xbox One....It appears Microsoft is stuck in a never ending loop of 1s...but it might be more sinister than that. Did you ever wonder why they pushed so hard for Kinnect and requiring an internet connection to play games? Well I may have uncovered the truth....Their next system will be named the Xbox Alpha, and will be presented as a savior for the game industry, while using features adopted from the one.... This system will be mostly fine, but it will be opening people's heart to the Xboxes, making it as common as TVs...The final system (probably the one after the Alpha) will be the Xbox Omega, it will be presented as the end all and be all of all consoles... but most of all it shall be the anti-christ! We must down the Xbox before it can down us!
  15. We are doomed then, those in charge of naming the Xbox are allergic to the number 2.
  16. How did I miss the Rosing!?!? Oh well.
  17. And that's kind of the point of Narnia. To bring in those who may not like religion.
  18. I just thought it was an(a) (failed?) attempt to end racism.
  19. You do know that there are spoiler tags, right? Anyways I didn't think the ending of the Chronicles of Narnia was that dark. I mean yes what you said happened. Though I feel like it was supposed to be a slight bit of a bittersweet ending, though I do feel like the last book could have done with being longer. As others have said some of it is to build up tension, and some of it is to grow up with the kids. Because the older the kid is the more likely they are going to able to handle something "dark". And you can use a book getting "dark" to teach a lesson to those willing to listen.
  20. This reminds me of the first time I remember having an Advil liquid gel (a type of Ibuprofen... for some reason I think I had hypomania as a side effect to it. Though months later when I decided to take one for pain again, I didn't have that reaction. (though I did have an unusual reaction) And even more recently when I took it for pain, I had no noticeable side effects.
  21. I am pretty sure it was due to Walden Media changing their policies of what type of media to produce.(not all businesses act like businesses) But if you really want to know go use google and find it out.
  22. Not all the books have "this happens x years after the previous book" so it can be left up to speculation.Though part of the reason there isn't actually a 4th movie yet, is because Walden Media's rights to make CoN movies expired in 2011. And basically due to legal issues the next CoN film MIGHT not be released until 2018. That being said CoN: The Silver Chair's screenplay is getting written (if it isn't further along than that).
  23. I guess I am just a blasphemer then--as punishment I shall not drink coffee!
