I find it a little silly. If you take the time to really READ the article, you see it's not something to flip out over. Believer me, I'm just as frustrated as you and everyone else is. It say It's just a lighting engine. You're overreacting again. It's still using DirectX 11 for the graphics engine, and using the same gameplay. Is pre-rendered lighting all it takes for you to snap? More importantly, do you really think a lot of people will skip out on the game because a trailer used pre-rendered lighting?

I'm glad you enjoyed it. My expectations were to high. It took me an hour and a half to get there, and an hour and a half of waiting in line, just to play for 2 minutes. 2 minutes of me getting my ass handed to me. Then they were like "Thanks for playing, back of the line". Firetruck that.
