I'd love to see Sora and Kairi end up as a couple and end KHIII with a classic Disney kiss. However, givewn Nomura's strange Japanese logic, and modern-day Disney's urge to promote Independent, strong women without a prince to fall in love with, Kairi is pretty much the Epitome of the damsel in distress, hence they are already starting to transform her form the sweet Girl she is into a warrior woman using a sword. I bet my ass that Kairi will end up like Elsa and further promote Disney's feminine propagandas. But I'd love a classic kiss.

no way i play I the game for fun and for the store. I surely won't spend hours jus to get 1 digital badge. the only incentive for me to do extra quests is a secret movie. but in general I would prefer to have kingdom hearts as a movie series akin to the pirates of the caribbean series. would look better in graphics, would be cheaper, easier to animate/program and would be more convincing in telling the story but most importantly, it wouldn't take them 10 years to finish one new chapter!

The game wasn't in production since 2010. That's just what some site (game trailers? ING?) assumed. If the game was in production for three years by last year, why would they have made up a trailer and several gameplay demos that do not, I repeat, do NOT reflect any gameplay but are pre rendered movie clips in order to showcase what the team WANTS the game to look like. They started last year and they only announced it to shut fans up. They only had half-speed production because of the HD reMIXES and they certainly will remake 3D which will put another hold on that project. And as they are choosing the worlds, creating the costumes and interfaces now, they can't even showcase anything. the game by now is literally a sheet of paper full of scribblings and ideas. Face the facts, this game will not be finished anytime soon. Same here. That's why they put so much effort in appealing to a new generation. The people who grew up playing the original games dislike 3D and the Spin-offs because of the different paths the stories take. and also, I don't think they sell many copied targeting now to be college students / young adults entering their first jobs, who do not have money aplenty and literally NO time and space for video games... I'm happy to get the HD Remakes, I couldn't care less about Days or re:coded, though. I love the possibility to replay Sora's story from KH1 via CoM to KH2 but for me the story ends there. I'm tired of every cough a person makes being taken as another loophole for Xehanort who wasn't even there in the beginning. BbS is fun for a change but the gameplay is tiring as well. KHIII for me comes 10 years too late. By then I'll be almost graduating from college with no money or time to spare.

If it only were a bit more creative in terms of style and animation. I'm bored by those play-doh/gummi- like figures running in front of dazzling explosions since meet the robinsons... I mean, this movie could have been great in 2D animation

Yeah but with Disney the problem is that they don't differentiate between two fundamentally different topics. On the one hand, classic Disney was focused on family entertainment and classic hand drawn animation ART. Therefore the older movies are tailored more toward a broader audience of younger and more mature viewers and artists alike. Modern-day disney just tries to release one flick after the other regardless of their quality as their target audience has become a tween/kid audience. They just cut all mature content to secure a G/PG rating and try to convey modern life lessons in each movie. Seriously, I can't remember seeing a single movie made purely for entertainment and art rather than avoiding every teeny tiny bit that could be seen as remotely offensive, immoral or politically incorrect. - I DO NOT SUPPORT OFFENSIVE OR RACIST content at all, but I do not try to hide the instances seeing as offensive in modern context in the old original context they belong in. I mean, come on! Frozen could have been a great movie if -they didn't have the urge to make it CGI 3D -they cut some childish moments -they stuck to a classic fairy tale ending -they didn't succumb their urge to make it a feminist beak in movies -they didn't include some modernly awkward slapstick humor in classical context... like what they did with the Maleficent movie. OK as a standalone but they frickin tried to convey that the original was a lie! And all their modern HD releases destroying the original feels of the classic animation movies due to smearing noise reduction just to make it appeal to kids nowadays. I would be totally fine if they split into two separate companies. Modern "Disney" making cheap movies for kids. and a classic "WALT Disney company" focused in the faithful heritage of 2D animation and the classic animated canon Seriously, ever since they cut Walt Disney from their logos they are speeding toward some immoral greedy policy I don't remember seeing in Disney as a kid.

Nomura got megalomania from FFXV. He should have stepped down years ago. I bet they'll come up with more $cows to milk. Next year will be 3D HD for sure. Even if it's just as a downloadable game, and the HD ReMIXes for PS4. Then they'll wrap up Chi in 2016 for Japan and 2017 will be re:CHI as another downloadable. some more portable shit for 2018 and in 2020 KHIII. but no-one will care anymore because people don't have infinite money and patience. And BTW, WHO seriously doubts Frozen will be in KHIII? Disney is going crazy about this shitty movie. They are even going to have a broadway musical, Once upon a time (yeah right if this was not Disney's choice!?), Sing-along movie [bUT NO 3D release in the US, WTF???????] all tis screams: we don't care about quality anymore, we just want money Too bad 21st cent. Disney, just as modern Square Enix, has turned out to be just a money-hungry company. It's hard to remember they made great movies before they decided to flood the market with cheap 3D crap and SHUT DOWN THEIR FRICKING 2D DEPARTMENT! And if you ask now what this has to do with KHIII, Disney is strongly involved in it and they're gonna make sure Frozen is in it and it does not include any mature scenes, no blood, no kisses and so on...

To be honest I'm sick of this. By now I feel they should do KHIII without Nomura. I'm sick of his forced plot changes in order to bring back Characters just because they are popular. Xion would have been so much more popular as 'the one who actually died' and I still miss the 'heartless' Roxas. I bet some new director focusing on the games so far could do an awesome job just by trying to satisfy the fans and not by trying to incorporate zillions of new mechanics and graphics. If they just made KHIII in a somewhat better graphic than KHII and stayed true to wrapping the story up, it would be out by next year and be actually good. And, please, WHO really thought KHIII OR FFXV would be out before 2020? They even stated that they just made up some trailers not even connected to the games in order to shut up the whining fans.

It's great to have you on here, Jonathan ! I'm not very active here and I haven't even intruduced myself to this amazing community but it's honestly great to meet you WI is one nice place to be! You really don't need to worry about any learning disabilities, I worked with some kids struggling with LDs a few months back and they are undoubtedly awesome people! I'm very sorry for the difficulties you had to experience in your life. Never give up. I'm looking forward to having some interesting video game talks with you on here! And, again welcome!

Actually I was comparing it to movies. 1) movies in theaters have no subtitles because they assume that people who go to see the films in the US speak English. 2) movies on DVD include subtitles for the hearing impaired as optional feature. They don't assume everyone is deaf 3) it would only make sense to not include subtitles for the standard English version in English speaking areas but have optional subtitles for hearing impaired. 4) for countries whose language isn't english, it does make sense to include English captions. The only reason for those countries that do not get an own dub in their respective language is to include subtitles in those languages in order to enable the audiences to understand the story. It's comparable to Japanese movies with English subtitles then. 5) hence, my question: WHY would they include MANDATORY, not optional, subtitles for a game with ENlgish exclusive dub in an English speaking country? 6) for those who reiterate the 'not everyone speaks english theory" I meant the American Version for the US. Why have captions? Sure, not everyone here speaks English, a lot o people speak Spanish, and that's great, don't get me wrong, but in theaters they don't include captions either only for the unlikely event that ONE person not proficient enough PAYS for seeing an ENGLISH movie? 7) no hate, the best (and only) solution would be to have dubs in Japanese, Chinese, English, Spanish, French, German and Italian and Dutch all with optional captions.

Why do the cutscenees have subtitles in the first place? Wouldn't it be easier to just get rid of them or just leave the option to switch them off like 3D did? I mean, what's the point? It's not like you would want to keep the audio down when playing at home compared to portable games. And if you play a game IN ENGLISH with ENGLISH screen texts and explanations and ENGLISH voice acting, WHY would you need ENGLISH subtitles? I do understand they include it in languages that are not dubbed... And if you miss a part, you can rematch the scene from theater mode anyway... My point is, they could have saved so much time and effort just deleting the subtitles instead of bothering even upgrading the text to a new HD font.

Hmmmm..... Something tells me this has to do with time traveling. Otherwise there is no way we could experience the SAME stories over and over again with different people around. How could snow white have been awoken with a CHI wielder present, when for real Aqua was witness to the scene? I don't really like time traveling because, to me, it is a lame excuse for re-telling stories and altering why has been done. It not only diminishes the quality of everything that follows but also messes with the things we loved in the past. But I still love the design of CHI and I would love to see a translation because I'm stuck in the Japanese version. And a less rip-off focused version would be nice. I hate their having us pay after using up those AP. Anyway, by now I cannot really continue the game because I am somewhere below LV 40 and everything else is LV 500 or 999! I can't train and I cannot even buy strong cards. I really hope they decide to release a paid version for iOS devices with easier enemies, more relevant leveling up and no additional purchases.

Actually I meant that they included it as another selectable menu besides extra and credits. Like this: Extra: *KHII Wallpaper *BbS Wallpaper *Coded Wallpaper Credits: *Credits of 2.5 with scenes from DDD and Chi playing in small next to the scrolling text, maybe even a scene from the KHIII teaser Special: *DDD intro in HD with something like "available now" at the end; they wouldn't include the vid without a lil promotion

there won't be any surprised at e3. They'll tell us that 1) 2.5 will have an art book limited edition 2) 2.5 will be out in september in J and holiday season in NA 3) another teaser for KHIII that says "now in development" 4) awfully much talk about secrets not yet unveiled and we should "look forward to" in the near future I think even nintendo will do better with their performance and Pokemon Advanced Generation Remake. But I doubt that too cuz their remakes look too much altered even tom the box art and not faithful at all... Safest bet: Play Pokemon Emerald on the GBA and KH on PS2

This would be most embarrassing for them as they promoted it as coming in 2014 for so long. Then they stated in a recent article 2014 still. Besides, they said they are already done. I hate the vision of a finished product just waiting to be released for ages because it might sell better in christms time I seriously doubt they'll add anything secret like some were speculating. Sure, remastering the music in orchestral versions takes time and the pointless recoded movie as well. I do hope for a better port over and even smoother graphics. As they clearly took their time with the movie thing, I hope they treated KHII faithfully and BbS as well (hope they don't screw it up and include any bugs!!) Just some more menus to do and voila the game is ready to be released. I HOPE they are just holding it off to have some surprises at E3. Most likely it'll be out in september in Japan and in Novemebr in the States; unnecessarily delayed but yeah, holiday sales... and I'm sure they'll have another art book limited edition alongside the normal version.
