*character justice. Gotta say, I'm loving what I played so far. Apart from a few cringes like Rex's battle quotes (goddamn Rex, when you pick up potions ffs) I think the voice acting is a lot better than what I expected it to be. And the battle system is phenomenal.

The first 20 hours feels like the beginning in a Xenoblade game! Got 4 hours in release night (incessantly pressing A on the day one download copy to get it to work lol). First impressions is of course cringy dialogue, Rex's voice, the Monado, Rex's clothes, and wow, this world is damn big. Rex is a character that still has some growing on me to do. I like that I see basically a fusion of Reyn and Shulk in his personality, and I think the trailers didn't do his char...

He'll be badass soon enough. He has the potential to become one of my favorite characters if done right. Ironic how much I like this kid. I'm not really into farm stuff.

I like RP's where there's some freedom in player actions. Structured, sure but I'd like to be able to feel a part of making the story. I'm not fond of one main character, rather there's a story to tell for everyone. Especially being able to have downtime and understand each character's motivations. I tried and failed in my Gifted RP at letting the players feel like a part of the story even though it was my main goal because the beginning was far too structured. I hope to reboot something like that over the summer or winter breaks I have. I also prefer original stories. It feels to me like it gives room for more creativity and doesn't alienate me because the series isn't foreign and niche to me.
