  1. @Weedanort That didn't cross my mind the first time I was weighing this out, but I wholeheartedly agree. I think the 2000s to mid 2010s was the sweet spot between outright telling you what to do and allowing you to figure it out on your own. After that, a lot more games started being a little too upfront about what you had to do. But back to the original topic, I definitely got a bit lost in Deep Jungle on my first time around. I could see players getting lost in both worlds. I didn't know that it was so infamous in that regard on socials as I don't use them anymore. When I did browse the KH Reddit in the past I saw a good bit of people have gripes with how the gameplay felt aged though. I wonder if those players jump into KH2 or just give up on the series when they hit that point. Speaking of aged gameplay, The worst part about the Platinum for Ps3 KH1 was the Gummi Ship blueprints. It took me years to go back and platinum due to that one trophy alone.
  2. I agree with @SoraDaxjer28 that most users would likely select Chain of Memories as it is probably very polarizing to jump from the gameplay of the rest of the series to that of this installment. I also found CoM fun and very enjoyable. Going for the platinum however was not enjoyable. Especially on Ps3, where they make you do the game 6 times (Fixed on Ps4) and level Sora and Riku to 99 for the platinum. (I gave up because it wasn't worth it, especially when better ports were out at the time I went back to try to achieve them) I think a more interesting topic would be which KH game was the most difficult to complete. Where the base game isn't too difficult to beat in most KH games, attaining completion can be an arduous task. Defeating the Lingering Will on KH2, Yozora on KH3, some of the optional missions in 358/2 days, etc. I can think of a lot more contenders for which is the most difficult in this case.
  3. For Playstation and Xbox players I think the 50% off discount may be enough to get them to buy it again. But for the Switch players who purchased the cloud version I feel they should've been compensated better. The PS/Xbox owners get to keep their product with the option to upgrade while the Switch owners are getting a product taken offline. I feel like fair compensation would've been giving them the 1.5+2.5 ReMIX release that's compatible with the Switch 1, as it would run on the hardware they own. Though I get why they wouldn't do that because they probably operated on a loss offering this cloud version for as long as they had.
  4. Rocket League is under the Epic Umbrella. When you purchase the Gummi Ship in Fortnite it unlocks in Rocket League as well. It has mickey wheels, but I assume you mean the Lucky Emblem one didn't make it to Fortnite? There's a Sonic Override ability that makes you run like Sonic once it's active (It's like a game-wide booster that impacts all players). So that one happens pretty frequently. The sonic shoes are easy to get in a battle royale match and I've used them before with Sora as well. I checked creative for the other 2 items but did not see them there. I see there's a Star Wars game collection so it might be possible to equip a light saber there. But I haven't done it myself.
  5. That appears to be the Dark Road Keyblade. The outfit matches up with the Helgi wears (one of the upperclassmen in Dark Road). The colors differ from his in-game counterpart, but I believe this is who is depicted here due to these aspects. Assuming that is him and/or the anime takes place around Dark Road; this would allow them to explore characters like Vali and Sigurd a bit more. Regardless, I hope this ends up filling the gaps that Missing Link would've :P
  6. Recently reinstalled Fortnite due to the upcoming Sonic announcements. Was hopeful that Sora would be added as well and I'm glad it ended up happening. Years back crossovers like this irked me a little as they don't really do justice to the original character. It doesn't make sense for Sora to be wielding a realistic gun and shooting enemies imo. But with how games started featuring these crossovers over the past 5ish years I just accepted it as the norm. I try to have a positive outlook on it as it allows players who do play the game to represent a character from a series they enjoy. Anyway, I can't wait to use Sora in Fortnite Festival and see the Lego Minifigure of him :)
  7. That's true. I can see that perspective and agree that's the vision. I think if they showed other worlds before this I would've been less skeptical and disappointed by it. I'll remain cautiously optimistic. I was surprised we even got a trailer at all, as I figured it'd be overshadowed by FF7 Revelation.
  8. I must've watched this trailer dozens of time at this point and felt any hype from it sadly. Quadratum is just very underwhelming as I feel they're capable of making something so much more compelling with it being an original named world. I get that it's supposed to be a copy/paste of Shibuya, but I feel like it's focusing too much on realism and doesn't have the KH style/soul to it. I'm hoping that other worlds look and feel more stylized and unique. On a more positive note, I'm excited to see the roles Vali, Sigurd, Strelitzia, and Luxord play into the story. I wasn't surprised to see Xehanort back, but I wonder what his role will be here. I'm still optimistic for the game as a whole and will eagerly await the reveal of any other world in future trailers.
  9. Definitely considering this one. Despite being a bit smaller, the detail on this is very nice and the music/lighting features make up for the size of it. It's up on Aitai Kuji for anyone interested in getting it outside of Japan.
  10. Yeah it certainly looks like castanets. It is fitting but I do feel like they should've made the castanets a different color to be more easily visible. Looks like she's just striking a pose with no instrument at first glance.
  11. It looks a little better, but still rough. I don't mean that it looks bad but it still looks like they're early in development and have quite a ways to go. I imagine that 2027 will be the earliest it'd come out. Especially with FF7R Pt 3 coming up. Hopefully we don't get the breadcrumb trailers like the lead up to KH3 and they start showing actual trailers once they have a set release date in mind.
  12. The pre rendered scenes like Strelitizia in the middle and Sora in the bottom right look gorgeous. The actual gameplay scene up top looks a little rough, the shadows look especially out of place and flat to me. But it may be because of the fact that they're in a still frame. The other 2 gameplay ones look good though. Seems like it's quite a ways a way until we get the game, but it's nice that they're giving us an update without showing too much. I hope they keep this energy up until they have a set release date in mind.
  13. Smart of them to do this. I feel like this game would've been a colossal failure financially. Hopefully the content mined from the beta build is released now that the game has officially been canned.
  14. My pick would be Over the Hedge because that movies very nostalgic to me. Maybe put RJ in the party and make the Keyblade a clever play on the Wagon and the food they collect lol. It sounds terrible but that's the first thing that comes to my mind lmao. The Iron Giant would be cool too, and probably a lot more fitting considering the development of the Giant throughout the movie. I've yet to see The Wild Robot, but it looks great and I'll get on it sooner rather than later But I agree with Ocean's Rage, I personally wouldn't want to see non-disney worlds mixed into the series. Just figured I'd throw what came to my mind into the mix though
