  1. I like Beast in KH2, he's got an interesting set of attacks and patterns.
  2. It's what I call the "Chrome singularity", where your adblocker is blocking so many different things it would actually be faster to turn the damn thing off.
  3. I've always been partial to Kanga. She's just so gosh darn nice. Not that many of the others aren't, but they're often more bland; she's weaponized niceness. Shoutout to Sarah Hawkins, though, she's pretty cool. (and yeah, I recognized most of the names... had to look up Eudora though, haven't seen that movie in forever)
  4. Pray to the RNG gods. That one was sheer luck; I could generally withstand it's attacks, but if the paralysis prevented me from using my heavy hitter, I wouldn't make it.
  5. This was an aight event. I like the idea of it; brute force crushing enemies, nothing more nothing less. Some of the levels got nerfed from JP, for anybody who was wondering, but ultimately I don't think it matters much either way; the last two levels are basically just RNG rolls, since you won't have enough natural defense to survive, so it's all on Defense Boosts. I cheesed the last level with a party member's Pluto B w/extra attack. It could have been done otherwise (with just Pluto B and some well-timed Def Boost proccing) but this saved me hours of RNG frustrations, so if you can, just do that =P. That said, Lexaeus B is exactly what I wanted; pure strength reverse power medal. Fits brilliantly on Treasure Trove and Stroke of Midnight. Plus, I got STR+1000 on my final trait roll, so I'm excited to use him.
  6. Tough. I tend to go for things that actually look more like keys, or at least have that definitive shape, unlike some more out-there ones. Master's Defender is definitely up there, but those Ultima blades would probably take it. Any variant. I'm quite partial to Void Gear, too, for some reason.
  7. Guilted or unguilted? With full guilt, some kind of Attack Boost and AP reduction or AP boost would probably be good. Since he's primarily a booster, honestly, you can probably just take the AP hit.
  8. They both run around screaming "I GOT IT" when really, they don't.
  9. I actually like most of these. Pixie Petal has got to be my absolute least favorite, and partly because you when you get it, you immediately get a more effective (and better looking) right after. I don't mind Sweet Stack or Sweet Memories, save for the stupid sound effects they make when you hit things with them =P.
  10. Good for new players; I've got my Nova past 500, and it's a huge boon in some places. Also yay, story quests. Was hoping for some Proud quests though, want me that Fenrir =P.
  11. I mean, just killed Guard Armor in about ten seconds, so maybe I'm just adjusting. Playing Proud. Normally Shadows don't give me trouble, but hey, I'll get it eventually =P.
  12. Not sure if it's the 60fps, but playing KHFM is so weird on the PS4. Getting my ass kicked left and right.
  13. Right? Like, sure, there are a lot of places it could use polish, but it was still a fundamentally good game that played well. I don't regret my time with it.
  14. To a degree, you could probably say so; the other ones with the Gazing Eye on their weapons are the five Foretellers (apprentices), Vanitas (apprentice), and Terra (pseudo-apprentice), so Riku could well fall under those parameters. I don't know if they've been planning its specific usage from the beginning, but it was definitely intended as a recurring design point.
  15. Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Easily one of the greatest platformers ever made. Great music, controls, level design, all of it. Plus, Wario introduction, who would then get his OWN series of awesome platformers.
  16. They haven't released them to anybody yet; it only officially ended at 8pm PST (about two hours ago as of this post) so it will likely be distributed in the next day or two.
  17. Isn't half this stuff contradictory? Nomura is looking past KH3, but wants it to be "perfect", but also it will release unfinished. It'll be what it'll be, and it'll probably be good.
  18. Little bit of everything; road trip in June, concerts in July, going to my vacation home (near the beach) in August, and my friend is getting married in late August. Working in between that, obviously.
  19. At this point the only real thing I'll get VIP for is exclusive medals, so... here we go =P.
  20. Purely in terms of a trailer, King Arthur's was pretty good (at least, the ones that used that Sam Lee song were). God knows what the final movie will be like, but they knew what to do with their trailers. Dunkirk also has some good editing/marketing. Dark Tower was generic and boring.
  21. Second Son is a great game, but when they do a follow-up, it's probably going to be with Cole, and it's probably going to be called inFamous 3, just because the marketing would be better. I'm all for them doing something surprising (like Second Son was) but my general feeling is that it'll be inFamous 3.
  22. Goofy. You could easily go the entire length of the series with him just going "Gwarsh!" in response to literally anything.
  23. I got the plush from the 2.5 CE, and it's totally one of my favorites. The keychains look pretty classy too, although not something I'd shell out for personally.
  24. Man, still no mercy pulls, huh? I guess I'm not overly surprised, but between that and no Proud+ quests this cycle, you do gotta wonder what's going on over there. That said, all of those medals are stupidly useful, so you can't really go wrong (maybe SDG A isn't that good anymore, but that's it).
