Maleficent got tossed out by some incarnation of XehanortThen was pretty useless for like most of KHII And is just being played up as some pawn of Xehanort's Xehanort fails. She fails harder. She's like the female Vanitas lol. Xehanort was atleast threatening. Vanitas even seemed like one too for a little bit Maleficient has been a joke since KHI ended.

That's basically my point though. Xemnas' words don't really mean anything or it's just as simple as his words meaning something like this: the reason for them having the weakness of trust is why they couldn't live to fulfill their purpose of being Norts(as we have with most of the group being off'ed by the time Xemnas' KH is pretty much completed and suffered the consequences for these traits) you could literally interpret it in any way but as I already said, Saix being in the new Org XIII is enough to say that Xemnas' words must have been BS. But my overall point about Sora and Terra is that people have literally speculated in the past that Xehanort wouldn't want to use somebody who would go against his wishes.......him going after Terra in the past and apparently has hold of him even now along with him going after Sora is proof enough he doesn't give a damn what they think as long as they fulfill his "criterias". I know that he needed to make them succumb to darkness first but I'm just poking fun at the notion that people would think that people like Marly and Larxy would be "disqualified" just because they wouldn't support Xehanort's agenda. I'm sure Riku and Roxas wouldn't be thrilled on working with him either and he tried to go after them as well. Nomura just gonna make Marly the KHII Luxord/Demyx of the new group so your sweet words of comfort have no effect on me </3

Yeah no as much as I like Marly and hope he gets some more depth or does his own thing, he's probably just going to be one of Master Xehanort's vessels that we didn't get to see in DDD seeing how he along with Luxord, Demyx and Larxene are still missing as of now. The sudden appearance of his Nobody class showing up in the KHIII trailer may also help this out some more along with Nomura stating last month that he wants to work on developing enemies based on certain characters to show they've been to that world. kinda like KHII did with the specific nobodies of the remaining Org XIII ..............why? It was surprising to see the return of Nobodies in the recent Kingdom Hearts 3 footage. What sort of role will they play in the game? Can we expect to see any more enemy types besides Nobodies and Heartless? Nomura: I want to make it so that you can tell who had come to that world by the enemies that appear there. I am thinking of the enemy types as a part of the total production this time. The new Kingdom Hearts III trailer featured a new Nobody design with a scythe and flower petals, is this particular Nobody alluding to a certain former Organization member? Nomura: I think that it’s easy to imagine but I do believe that it will appear in promotional materials sooner or later so please wait for that. He has no real reason to do this unless he was hinting on something and seeing how we have the Organization back and running around just like in KHII...... Plus I know someone's gonna say "But Xemnas said he was a traitor so he can't be in it" 1. He never really said that. Just that those three categories of weakness of trust, body, will played a part in them not living to serve their purpose aka basically because of their actions, most of them got to survive right to the end where their KH was nearly completed. Plus Xemnas' qualifications don't have to match Xehanort's qualifications since the person coming back recompleted would give him a chance to go at them again. One shot of the Nort, and you get infected with your personality and actions not meaning much anymore. 2. Saix says hi 3. Sora says hi also 4. Terra says he's having a blast 5. Marly is a greedy mothertrucker for power and the Keyblade..... just like Braig who's chilling with Xehanort. Marly didn't get along with Xemnas, who's to say he wouldn't get along with the old coot? Especially since the old coot would have something that Xemnas didn't have to offer: a way to wield his own Keyblade and path to power. You really think Marluxia would say no to all that? Now that we've established why Marly isn't really off the list for Norts especially with Nomura saying in the DDD ultimania that he and the other missing members could have been picked up like Braig and Isa, all that really prevents this is an outright confirmation. I personally want Marly to go eff things up as a rogue but I'm not allowed to have nice things so oh well

As much as I don't really care much for the Darknesses debate anymore, I did happen to read a theory a couple weeks ago on KH insider and it basically pertained on how the new 13 are set up based on when they got Norted since Nomura told us to pay attention to the seating as everyone is seated in their "proper seats" With that in mind going off that theory, I feel the New Organization XIII is this order. I. Master Xehanort II. Xemnas III. Ansem SOD IV. Braig/Xigbar V. Vanitas VI. Terranort VII. Isa/Saix VIII. Demyx IX. Luxord X. Marluxia XI. Larxene XII. Young Xehanort XIII. N/A When it's set up like this, you have basically an order on how and when people were Norted whether it be before becoming Nobodies or after recompletion. Excluding the main 3 Xehanorts and Prettynort, all of the half Norts would be seated well with Braig being the first person who got Norted in BBS. Then Vanitas follows, then Terra, then Isa since the we can clearly see that as early as 358/2 Days that Saix was Norted so I'm thinking he must have gotten Norted before he became a Nobody since Xemnas wouldn't be able to do so himself since he may have lost Xehanort's Keyblade. Only other person to use such a Keyblade was Terranort or Apprentice Xehanort. And oh what a coincidence that Isa and Lea were trying to get inside Ansem's castle and then AX starts going cray with his experiments..... Anyways after Isa, you'd have the four Org. Members who we have no status on their current fates as of DDD with Nomura himself even hinting at the fact that they could have been taken just like Braig and Isa did.... and we see in the 2.5.ReCoded secret ending that this was the case for the latter. And Terranort so happens to be missing too in DDD. With a certain Keyblade and a Nort heart full of Xehanort goodness. I wonder what he could have been doing during that time? Surely he couldn't have been rounding up the last Norts for the party Braig talked about in the 2.5.ending. Certainly not the as of now, M.I.A members of the old group who would be fresh out the recompletion bakery. Couldn't be them. Totally wouldn't explain the four not so obvious hooded seats in between Saix and Young Xehanort. Same with the even less obvious two seats between Braig and Isa which I doubt would be Vanitas and Terra. Xion and Repliku sitting there makes more sense. Joking aside here's the theory I found. Certainly makes a lot more sense than Darknesses theories I've read on there and here or anywhere else especially with people putting in people like Repliku or Xion which the latter is virtually impossible atm. Or even Xaldin or Vexen even though we saw them recompleted in DDD. It doesn't matter if he never carried it out or not. The intent and the actions were there and known to Xemnas and he kinda did carry put his plan by getting Axel to kill Vexen and Zexion who were useful to Xemnas. So yeah. He isn't really different from Marluxia. And obviously we don't know yet if the old coot has Marly or not. Did you see anyone in this thread say it was 100% confirmed? No. Just that it's implied and pretty damn likely with his M.I.A status and the sudden appearance of his Nobodies that he's making a return in KHIII.There's a difference.

Uh nah you need to play 358/2 Days over again because he was planning on betraying Xemnas and the others with Axel even while he was a Nobody aka before he got vanquished So regardless your example isn't valid because he was still traitorous just like Marluxia. I get what you're saying but again it literally doesn't matter because both Marluxia and Saix were plotting to overthrow Xemnas the leader of the Organization and offing fellow members along the way for that cause. That in itself is traitorous no matter what actions both guys used.

Maybe you forgot that Saix was also traitorous yet he's in the group and it doesn't mean a thing when Xehanort inserts his heart inside a vessel. Plus he tried to go after Sora and I'm sure he'd totally be trustworthy for his cause amirite?

The amount of self-entitlement in this fanbase is insane. I mean damn I get that Disney keeps screwing the pooch with this video's release and it could be a bit grating, but the amount of complaining for days on end from "the blame game to Square, Nomura, Disney, their mothers, etc" is just ridiculous especially since D23 isn't even over yet. Relax, KH fanbase. You won't die over the lack of video featuring a fictional kid with his giant key fighting with his duck and dog.

It was probably to help factor in all this Chi stuff since it's supposed to very important in the storyline for KH3.

No ROD's time flows differently aka slower than ROL not faster or Aqua would be an old granny by now. We know this. We literally do. The main narrative of the story has been told from the denizens of LIGHT's point of view not those of the DARKNESS where Aqua's at right now. 10 years have passed in ROL. It's slower in the ROD.

But you're clearly ignoring the fact that the game and Nomura's BBS interview says that Aqua met ATW post KH2 meaning 10-11 years after she got stuck in the ROD. Saying it must have taken place before KH1 just because of the "0" thing doesn't make much sense at all.

@TruthKey I really think you're putting too much emphasis on the whole "0, 0.5. 1" tidbit tbh. We know Aqua meets ATW post KH2. How many years or when it happened to AQUA is irrelevant. Like at all.

You must have clearly missed the part when Ansem The Wise was talking about how he met Sora aka "the boy" and how he knows about him saving the worlds when he was talking to Aqua in Blank Points And how she clearly asked ATW if this "boy", who's been saving the worlds were Ven or Terra. She definitely remembers them. Are we both watching two different things?????? P.S. Flaming Lea is a girl. P.S.S Let's not use HMK as reference to anything plz. He knows more than the casual fan yeah but he literally ignores Nomura interviews and other game explanations at times just to suit whatever crazy theory he comes up with like Riku being Xehanort's grandson, Xehanort being a good guy, etc etc,.

Except she was able to provide proof aka Nomura's interview which you have not with your claim that Eraqus may have stopped Terra from being overtaken by Xehanort. As we see in later games, this isn't really the case seeing how MX is still WINNING and how Terra is one of the people Sora needs to rescue. So what role Eraqus plays in all this is yet to be determined but to say he was able to save Terra from being completely beaten by Xehanort... doesn't seem to be the case as of now.

That's basically the context of their conversation when he said "Sora and the last one are on our side" or "Sora and another on your list belong to me now". He literally meant nothing else but vessels since that is basically what he wants and the former line in Japanese even implies more than ever it's vessels he's talking about since having just a stray heart alone like Ven's would do him no good unlike Terra's situation as a vessel which has been implied to not have changed in the least. And I know he was recapping the events of the BBS trio. I made that clear in my last comment. But again, nothing has shown the situation has changed for any of them as we see from Ven and Aqua. So really he's implied to already have Terra as a vessel. Whether Terra's heart is still in the mix is the real mystery at this point just like Eraqus. In conclusion, he could have meant nobody else but Terra, not Ven. It seems you're trying to grasp at straws to make it seem like he meant Ven when there's a lot going against him having Ven on his side since having his heart alone would do him nothing when he's looking for vessels. You know people who are fulfilling his plan. With that, I'm bowing out of this argument since it's dragged on for too long imo so believe whatever you want and we'll just have to wait for what KH3 to know the circumstances on everything.

Not sure why this was still being disputed since it's been known since 2004 that Disney owned the rights to the KH IP and original characters coming straight from Nomura's mouth himself even though he and Square made the characters and practically the story etc. Apparently Square gave the rights away to Disney in favor of more Mickey screentime as opposed to his brief appearance in KH1 which Disney was responsible for that. Overall Disney owns the rights to the IP as of current as the games' labels show after KH1. Though Disney knows making a game without Square Enix their partners would be disastrous. Just look at...... V Cast lol. Overall they try to ask each other for approval on KH related stuff just like John himself asked Square for their approval to have the KH Mickey in DI in the first place. They're healthy partners and as of now, nothing has changed that one bit. Disney let's Square do whatever they want with the IP if they're not messing with their classic Disney characters and Square brings in the money for both parties

Idk why people are taking that rumor as fact. As Toominator said, there's really nothing showing that French "interview" is legit and seeing how Nomura has been tight lipped on returning and non returning worlds after 2 years, I don't see him breaking that silence now especially since KH3 is still in like mid development. Even so, I could still see WHY they would cut those worlds since they don't really offer much anymore especially with the newer worlds coming in. We'll Halloween Town doesn't have much to offer anymore that is IMO.

You know like what most of the conversation was about and oh him even narrating Terra's fate as of the BBS ending. "The Feckless Youth who became my new vessel" And the Japanese dialogue for that "another" scene was basically "Sora and the last one are on our side" How in the world would Ven be on Xehanort's side without a body He literally doesn't care about Ven's heart in the least. If anything it would be his empty body aka vessel he'd be interested in which he's unable to get to. And note Xehanort isn't trying to stop the 7 Lights from forming since you know it's kinda in his plan to have them all form ASAP so they can clash with his 13 darknesses (would have been 13 he got Sora) Meaning this "another" would have already had to belong to him or be on his team before he got to Sora. Since he already had 12 of his members including himself. All they needed was one more which was going to be Sora.

Except that he does..... since once againhe's after vessels not hearts. As he and Young Xehanort have said multiple times throughout DDD...."Hands off my new vessel" "My last vessel shall bear my heart like the rest"

Except Xehanort has no means to get to Ven in Castle Oblivion and his body as seen in DDD has remained untouched. That's why it's clearly Terra he was talking aboutAgain, Xehanort is after vessels, not hearts.
