After going through Tales From The Borderlands (at its 3rd episode right now) and Batman: Arkham Knight, a thought occurred to me. Could Sora and/or Kairi have one of those spirits where only they can see? For examples, 1) back in the first game, a projection of Kairi appeared when you first enter Merlin's house. 2) I'm sure that one of the KH3D cutscenes at TWTNW counts. Even though Roxas was only a "dream illusion". 3) We all remember that part in The City of Bells where Young Xehanort appeared to Sora, telling him that he made his heart a prison. Then Vanitas showed up next to YX and both of them mentioned that Sora is not the prisoner. The point is, Namnie and/or Roxas might appear as illusions that only their respective other halves can see. And so will Ven to Sora maybe. I've been thinking. Could the Batman: Arkham series be a spiritual successor to Batman: The Animated Series? Like the DLC story "Cold, Cold, Heart" for example. That is heavily inspired by the infamous Heat of Ice.

I'm not sure if these are discussed, but let's talk. Remember what Mickey said to Data-Sora in Traverse Town before going to Castle Oblivion? Well while in a past like dream version of Traverse Town, you can see Mickey running to the 3rd District door. That probably further proves his statement about being there that day. Axel and some Nobodies were able to be in the simulated Twilight Town during the prologue of KHII. The reason, it could have been the sigil that was placed in Roxas' name. At least, that's what I assumed, seeing that the X Xemnas showed in front of Roxas looked exactly like the sigil on Sora. Before the second fight with Demyx, he said "We do too have hearts". Either he thought that was false and was trying to trick the trio he's about to fight, or that he somehow found out that he's been lied to. How can Destiny Islands be a sleeping world, and awake at the same time? Its not like the one in the tutorial is just in the past. Even if it is, the younger bodies Sora and Riku use can't be sent to Traverse Town and Hollow Bastion respectively after TWTNW. Know what I'm saying? Well that's all I can think of.

I don't think I like a world based on "Ichabod and Mr. Toad". Although the characters from The Wind in the Willows could be residents of Disney Town (or Disney Castle, whichever you prefer).
