Kairi, Kairi, Kairi.. They keep setting her up as someone important only to block her from doing anything meaningful that either contributes to the plot more, furthers her character or allows her to develop her skills and do something that isn't being benched for most of the plot..

Maybe because it focused too much on Smash. I myself was fine with it, but I would've liked to see a couple more games.

I guess.. but did Nomura have to make such a change/retcon at this point in time? And how can the pure hearts just pass from one user to another? What, did the princesses that had pure hearts no longer do and suddenly have a bit of darkness?

Nearly every character is gonna appear in kH3, and the BBS trio has been heavily teased (One of them has already been shown). Besides, Nomura isn't gonna set up a plotline regarding Xehanort that involves Terra, leave it hanging for years and then suddenly forget about it or a main character. Besides, they can't really show Terra without showing his LW first and how he gets out of that entire ordeal.
