Question: Where is the official information stating that Nintendo will reveal the NX this year? All I've seen on Google is rumors from mostly non-reputable sites.

Anyone else grown out of Kingdom Hearts?
Svard replied to The 13th Kenpachi's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I haven't grown out of it, but I do hope that they stop releasing so many side-titles after the Xehanort Saga, and just stick to releasing main titles. Also, it would be nice if they become more consitent with major release schedules, like every 3-4 years or so, 2-3 if they can. However, if they do continue with side titles, then there should only be one in between each major release, so as to make the story more consistent, and not go in 100 different directions. -

No! No! Disney sequels (with the exception of Toy Story) have been the bane of the world since since The Little Mermaid 2! -
Anyone else feel like they're behind everyone?
Svard replied to VisitJoan's topic in General Discussion
Joan, I know exactly where you're coming from. In my case, though, I'm probably farther behind than you are. I am now 28 years old. While I have taken college courses, I never really cared to finish college, and figured I'd just live my life one day at a time. Further more, I am working on buying a car for the first time. I am the youngest of six kids in my family. All of them are now married and have some kind of career or path that they are following. Meanwhile, here I am. A single 28-year old man with no degree, no vehicle, and still, I am unsure what I want to do in life. All I know is that I have short-term goals to get my car by fall, and I would like to start taking college courses again. I originally wanted to major in computer science, since computers have always been my passion. But I feel like if I do that, then it will only become a job, and I will lose my love for computers over time. From what I've read from your profile, you already have a Computer Science degree, and you are still only 25. I know it's not much, but take comfort knowing that you are farther ahead in life that many others, even many who are older than you. -
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Svard replied to Wan_Pisu's topic in Poll of the Week
Manipulating the elements would be great! There's so many things you can do with that kind of power. Still, just put a Keyblade in my hands, and I'm good. The Keyblade is such a verstile weapon. I can use magic, do Strike Raids, make my Keyblade into a transport, and so much more! -
It would suck, sure. But as long as we get a complete, balanced, quality game in the end, I certainly can't complain. And, of course, as long as I don't have to wait another five years.

Would you rather be a tooth, or a nail, and why? Of the four basic elements, (fire, earth, wind, water) which one would you align yourself with the most? Sword, bow or staff? Which do you prefer more: singing or dancing?
-
If you could be any insect, what would you be? What is the first thing you picture when you close your eyes? Do you ever take the time to look at the stars in the night sky? What is the one thing you want in this world more than anything else?

Breakfast burrito! Usually consisting of bacon, sausage, egg, hashbrowns, bell pepper and sometimes avocado.

Video Kingdom Hearts Unchained X First Impressions!
Svard replied to The Transcendent Key's topic in Creative Media
I really do enjoy the game, but I do have a few gripes. One being that the Medals tend to make up to much of the difference in strength compared to level. Level really doesn't seem very rewarding, except that you get your AP refilled. I feel like they could have added more traditional stats to the game, rather than forcing players to rely on medals to make their way through the game, which, as you know, they can be purchased from the store. Basically, I feel like they made it a little too much into your typical micro-transaction game, where it becomes a "pay to win" to some degree. This isn't 100% the case, but, well, let's face it, you only get the better medals by purchasing them through the store, and not everyone is going to be pro at making tactical decisions to save their jewels, nor is everyone going to be a hardcore player. If they really wanted to make money, they should have made it a paid app from the begining, and made the game feel more rewarding just by playting it, and not going to the store to buy stuff with jewels. Whle I'm not one of those people who buys jewels with actual money, there will be those who will be tempted, or even feel a little bit pressured, to do so in order to keep up with their fellow party members, and feel like they're a valuable asset to their party. Anyway, that's just my own perception, though. I, for one, am really against how much companies make mobile games rely upon micro-transactions to make more money. It's a smart move, sure, but it just takes so much away from the experience than what should have been, in my opinion. I would much rather buy a game, and get a full experience from it right from the get-go, rather than having store ads shoved in my face, and trying to work around a system that seemingly tries to force you into the shop. -
[cheesymoment] When in doubt, try to... Admittedly, I was feeling a bit down earlier. Sometimes, it takes a little bit of faith to bounce you back up. Whether it be faith in God, or faith in yourself. Regardless, at the end of the day, it's always good to try and believe in yourself a little. [/cheesymoment]

Damnit! Your answer to number three just backfired and made me really hungry for pepperoni and meatball pizza! WWWWHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY?! RIP me.

I do wish that they would drop the price to $39.99 USD, but I do appreciate that I will get my fill of Kingdom Hearts, as well as get some new story, while waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3. I just wish that SE wasn't being so cash-hungry in this scenario. Basically, I'm kind of on neutral ground here. I do appreciate more Kingdom Hearts just like anybody else, but I also can't help but feel like they could have done these projects and included them with earlier HD releases, even if we had to wait a bit later to get them. Regardless, I'm still going to get it in order to complete my Kingdom Hearts HD collection, and for the extra story elements. Replaying Dream Drop Distance in HD is really just a side-tour, but I will appreciate viewing the cutscenes and gameplay in HD.

What is your favorite fruit? If you could be any animal, what would you be, and why? What topping do you think goes best on pizza? What three words would you choose to describe yourself?

Damnit! I need a hobbie that's not video games! Sitting in my room all day just reminds me of how sad my life is sometimes.

Anime | Manga Why do people like Bleach?
Svard replied to The 13th Kenpachi's topic in General Discussion
There's a reason for Ichigo's quick power-ups and what not, but I do agree that many parts are poorly executed. When you compare the strengths of the captains to Ichigo in the SS arc, and then compare their strengths again in later arcs, it makes you wonder if the captains were really even trying at first. Though it could also be that they get lazy and rusty in times of peace. All in all, I liked it, more or less because I thought the main villain was interesting, and I especially liked Urahara. However, I only like it up to the point where the Aizen saga ends. After that, it just seems like the writer won't just let the manga die. Now, it just feels like a repeat of the Arancar arc, with one battle after another. -

Why should we stop worrying?
Svard replied to Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀)'s topic in Random & Forum Games
There are only two conerns in my life: love, and what I should eat for dinner. As for Kingdom Hearts III, well, if it fails to be a worthy entry in the series, then at least we can make an effigy of Nomura and light it ablaze.- 4 replies

Do you want KH3 to be the last number title of KH?
Svard replied to RandomTeaGuy's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I see nothing wrong with them continuing with numbered games, but I could do without them having so many side titles. Otherwise, it will be much like Star Wars: Episodes 1-3 - Young Annikin Saga Episodes 4-6 - Darth Vader Saga Episodes 7-9 - Kylo Ren Saga Kingdom Hearts: 1-3: Xehanort Saga 4-6: Unknown 7-9: Unknown -

KHUX A short little ramble on Xehanort's Keyblade
Svard replied to Shimmy's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Nice digging! Always cool to see the symbolism represented in the KH universe. What I don't get though, is what about Leopards? They don't have a place in that chart at all. They're certainly not flies or swine, so gluttony wouldn't necessarily make sense for Leopardos, unless they are repesented as such in some other culture? -
Why Engish Is Such A Great Language
Svard replied to MythrilMagician's topic in Random & Forum Games
Oh English. The most beautiful of all languages, due to being a meltic pot of every other European language, using letter combinations that make sounds that make no sense and having way too many grammitcal rules.
