The most logical way Nomura could have done this is if she contacted him through Sora's connections during his memory restoration process. That is when she found Sora's hurtful memories of The Wayfinder and Seasalt Trios. She then tried to contact Lingering Will to remind him of Ven and Aqua. This would explain why he says "Ven... Aqua..." when you fight him in KH2FM.

Nomura has just retconned Namine's entire existence. If this LW and Namine conversation takes place before the events of 0.2, then how was she REALLY created? This would mean she was NOT created when Sora sacrificed himself, like Nomura has led us to believe.

But the news says that Nomura said the conversation takes place shortly before 0.2 begins.

Star Wars isn't a "Disney" world per-se. It's a Disney license. I didn't like Port Royal being in KH2 for that same reason. It doesn't fit with the themes of Kingdom Hearts, in appearance, and in background. However if they want to make a Death Star Trench Run Gummi-Ship mission, I'm all for that, that would be amazing as firetruck. Edit: Sure, if they want to add it in KHIV then by all means. As long as it fits with the next saga's story. It just doesn't fit with the Dark Seeker Saga right now.

Well yeah but there's no point in doing that now. They're already out. It would be better for them to just upscale and port it to the PS4. Maybe stick a cheek 60fps on it.

To get his memories back, Namine would need to put a firetruck ton of work in. But she can't because she's inside Kairi now. So Sora will likely never get his memories of Castle Oblivion back unless Namine becomes her own person.

If I were to give my blunt, honest opinion. I think Kairi's grandmother is as inconsequential as Sora's mom. That's how much I think she's completely irrelevant.
