  1. This is interesting. I wonder if they’ll do that for other regions, even if it’s highly unlikely. But is Square is sending out the notices themselves it might be a possibility congrats on the earlier release date there though!!!
  2. I always do the highest difficulty first, so if Nomura laughing at me as I cry and get two-shot all the way to end game is that, I’ll do it. I love the challenge, even if I’m not the best at the game. I find it fun, even if I do want to cry.
  3. From the looks of it she’ll be playing a bigger role in the fight and be less of a damsel in distress (yay!) but that’s all the trailers have shown since I have (so far) avoided most spoilers
  4. I think this tweet is more referring to any future plans for the series or future titles he works on as a whole. Something that he has more control over. He can’t really suddenly say “Release date is pushed forward! Let them eat cake!” Kind of thing in regards to the current release, especially with global only being less than 5 days away. He would anger a lot of people that ordered physical copies and got theirs well after digital sales, or even if the team allowed brick and mortar retailers to sell it in advance now, but the other sources (online orders, digital, etc.) had to wait that would cause the same issue.
  5. Oh I fully agree. Having that information would be amazing. If anything I would say it might be possible that Nomura was only saying a half truth or something at the time and that it might be Nobodies don’t age after a certain point. But even that would be weird for an answer. Time does work in mysterious ways in the KH series though, I’m sure many of us can agree with that. Zexion, comparatively, does look younger than the others in the organization but not by much. So it’s hard to say that a year would age him that much unless his Nobody continued to age and then stopped a couple years later. I would love a more concrete timeline on this. And maybe we’ll get it with the first patch for KH3, since that’s supposedly going to have information regarding the previous entries to the series.
  6. Welcome! ^_^ it’s nice to meet you!
  7. Oh right! I forgot Leon gave context that it was 9 years before KH1, but that doesn’t change the rest of the theory. Xehanort took over in Radiant Garden, effectively ousting Ansem the Wise shortly before Maleficent showed up with her heartless and ousted him. We know how much characters can change in a year in KH time and those characters being on the floor in the lab would make sense. A year would give Ienzo, Lea and Isa time to grow up a bit by time Xehanort takes over and releases the hearts of everyone in the lab. (sorry I’ve been dealing with back to back sickness and pain so my mind has skipped over details in some replies I’ve done)
  8. The theory that I have is that around the time that Xehanort regains his memories and releases the floor of Heartless on Radiant Garden that wound up transforming it into Hallow Bastion is when they lost their hearts and became Nobodies. Hallow Bastion came to be not long before the events of KH1, maybe only a year or two, which would have allowed Ienzo, Isa and Lea to age a bit to what we see them as in the present. We know that Kairi wasn’t always with them on Destiny Islands, only arriving, suddenly, a few years prior to KH1 as well. So it begs to reason that the spell Aqua placed on her sent her to Destiny Islands at the same time darkness overtook the lights of Radiant Garden.
  9. I would honestly say that the leverage might be as simple as them knowing he was looking for it, even if they don't know why. Xigbar shows in KHII:FM that he knew, and knew that Zexion overheard, that he talks to his "friend" Aqua in the Chamber of Repose, and that he was looking for the Chamber of Awakening for some reason. Xigbar even said he wanted it so he could "find his other 'friend'" Saix and Axel may not have known that was the reason, but they knew Xemnas wanted the chamber. They knew he was after something withing. Even finding the chamber would be able to gain them leverage because they found it, and would therefore had knowledge that he desperately wanted. While that may not be the overall plan, and Saix might have known more about the chamber's contents, it stands to reason that they could have used it as a bargaining chip even just having FOUND it.
  10. I’m basically just sticking to my subscriptions on YouTube and ignoring anything else. There is a Chrome extension that @Zeldablade7 linked to earlier, and I would not be surprised if there is one for Firefox too, that hides recommended videos and would be worth giving a try for anyone that doesn’t want to see the spoilers. It’s dangerous to go alone, after all.
  11. As Lord Revan has said, possibly stolen copies, but it's also not uncommon for games to break street date due to early shipments (even this early). For example when Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII was releasing, I got my copy almost a full week before release with standard shipping (free) selected. Human error is a thing as well. As for the End spoilers, I was really sad to have opened my YouTube today and seen a big "THE END" Video in my recommended, and since I was on mobile my tapping the tiny little dots wound up causing the video to play. I don't think I've exited a video so fast in my life.
  12. Thanks @Green Sparrow, I was going to mention this earlier myself but work took over for a bit. As just mentioned, while I do not blame anyone for their initial reactions and opinions of the endings, we must remember that the game was leaked early, and they specifically cut the ending into pieces to allow for the rest of the world to be able to play before they gave us these close tidbits. The story we have is incomplete and missing, quite possibly, crucial pieces to it. While JP region games will get their DLC a few days ahead of the Global release, that still hasn't been released to them yet even and won't be until after they're able to play in a couple days yet themselves. Everyone is definitely allowed their initial reactions, however, and first impressions do matter. I hope that everyone gets an ending they're satisfied once we have the complete story, regardless of initial reactions.
  13. That's entirely fair! Thank you for the input and I will adjust it

    Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts is the game series' namesake. Kingdom Hearts generally refers to a heart shaped moon that is said to be the heart of all Worlds. The moon color changes depending on how it is summoned. In Kingdom Hearts II the moon is shown with an off-white tint, due to being comprised of the hearts freed from Heartless, whereas in Birth by Sleep the moon is a blue tint due to having been summoned by Master Xehanort in expectation of unlocking it with the χ-Blade, ending up with it being comprised of the hearts of Worlds. The doors that allow access to Kingdom Hearts has only appeared in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, the appearances of them varying slightly. The doors are extremely large, shown to require multiple people to close them and requiring multiple people to open them in the case of the Kingdom Hearts II incarnation. The doors are also decorated with a multi-colored stain glass window at the top of the door.
  15. -casually wonders if I can afford to go to the New York concert- I'm sad I've missed every other Kingdom Hearts Orchestrated concert to date and would love to finally catch one!
  16. I have updated the OP with more details, including an example to use for more entries.

    Keyblade

The Keyblades are weapons that are manifested light or darkness. These Key shaped weapons are wielded by those chosen to do so, either by the weapon or by transferal ceremony. These can be used to unlock any lock. These weapons are the only tools that can be used to release hearts that have been consumed by Heartless, and they can also be used to release hearts from people in some cases. The type of Keychain attached to them determines their shapes and abilities. These tools have appeared in every game throughout the series and the weapons are mostly unique for each person. Exceptions lie with Roxas and Xion, who both wield the Kingdom Key as their standard Keyblades due to their connection with Sora.
  18. I am not going to believe this is reality until I boot up the game at midnight a little over 6 days from now and finally get to play this beautiful thing for myself. I have had so many good memories from this series. It's made me happy and sad, furious and confused, I've cried more times to it than I care to admit (358 especially) and made me care about characters far more than any game ever has. I think of this as not the end, but another adventure on the horizon to take me down a wonderful trip of many emotions and to finally get some resolution after the last 13+ years since Kingdom Hearts II. I've made so many friends in so many different places thanks to this series. One of my fondest is still playing Kingdom Hearts II on a Japanese Playstation 2 with my host student on an exchange trip right after it came out and absolutely falling in love with Roxas and the new gameplay elements, even if I couldn't understand a word that was spoken at the time for the most part.
  19. Link: https://www.kh13.com/wiki/lore/ Current project leader: @LunaCatte Open / Locked status: All areas can be contributed to by KH13 members and staff members. Fields: The following fields shall be used when filling out information in regards to lore: Title and Contents. The title should contain the specific lore element, and the content field should contain a description of the lore piece and what its role is in the series. Completion status: Some entries have been added. More information pertaining to already entered lore pieces can be input, as well as new lore pieces that have not been added yet.
  20. I saw this talked about in the feature request thread yesterday, so I would like to propose a database for overarching lore elements that may not fit into other categories
  21. As far as I could find, unfortunately no. Their twitter account did post a new video today featuring Monsters Inc., but I don’t know why they took the Olympus Coliseum one down with no other way to view it.
  22. I only really looked her up myself after KH1 to be completely honest, but when I went out to Japan and she was still somewhat popular out there at the time (she'd be playing in some convenience stores for example) with non-KH music. Her albums are in a few different styles but they're all pretty interesting. I do feel her KH music was some of her best work though to be completely honest and so I'm really glad this one has topped charts already
  23. While I had my feelings on that song and to why I've been feeling something familiar this is amazing to see and hear that it actually does call back to that! No wonder I love the song so much ;D Two of my favorite songs mashed together to make a beautiful new one.
  24. I look forward to working with you as well!! Thank you ^_^
