I mean, I would call what happened to Destiny Islands at the beginning of 1 an apocalypse, and Sora was the only one who really came out of that one unscathed (aside from his home getting destroyed, I guess).

I love everything about it that isn't a gacha game. Especially the visuals. Hot damn. I hope in like 5 years time they release a port of this game on consoles which is just the parts in the Cage/the dreams or memories or whatever. That stuff is really great, but the gacha elements make me want to throw up.

If anything, I'd say it's the opposite for the first point. Even since the secret ending of KH1 people have been saying they should ditch the Disney and that the next game/part of the series will or should be entirely based in Square (which, thankfully, will almost never happen. All these original characters are technically OWNED by DIsney.) A lot of KH fans I've seen online actively dislike a lot of the Disney segments of the game. Your experience could be different though, I guess.

YES. I could be reading too much into this, but I think that's kinda what Ansem was doing in 3. Like before he fades away and says "part of me wanted to defy my fate," I think that means when he brought Ansem TW back to the realm of light to chew him out about Subject X and the children he experimented on, he was trying to do something good instead of being a purely negative figure. Of course, nothing actually comes of that, and it's kind of negated by the fact he threw Aqua into the darkness-water at the dark margin. So :/. But yeah, that would be sick.

Oh JEEZ could you imagine if they started incorporating the live-action remakes of the old DIsney movies into KH? That would be so weird and confusing that I honestly wouldn't put it past 'em.

I think I'm most excited to see what Lauriam and Elrena are up to. They (or at least their Nobodies) are great!
