    Wait what?! Woot that means Mother 3s release is no longer a pipe dream. Though the fan translation was so perfect I'm not sure I even want to see an official one.

    Yeah, Mother 1 was put up on the Wii U eShop under the title "EarthBound Beginnings." I really hope that Mother 3 does follow... As for the fan translation, I know that the people who worked on it sent the files to Nintendo. I kinda doubt Nintendo would use them, but they do have access to the fan translation if they ever want to use it to bring the game to the West.

    I kind of did just show up here back in 2010 and I just made people know who I am even if I may have not made a hello thread. I think it is fine to just show up just as long as people find out who you are and what you are like! :)

    I haven't played a whole lot yet, I'm still trying to decide if I should finish EarthBound first since I'm halfway through and I wouldn't want to play Mother 1 in the middle of it. :/

     

    Also, did you see my message on Miiverse? I don't know if it was any use or not. xD

    That's fair, i get that. Personally though, i would just start Mother 1 and get as far as you can in that game before getting burnt out. The end game of Earthbound is alot more sentimental and hits you in the feelz moreso if you see/play the backstory of Giegue/Giygas in M1 for yourself and see just how much he's changed between the time gap of the games.

    Right. I was also considering playing through Mother 1 then starting a new game in EarthBound, so I might just do that if it's what you recommend. Thanks!

    I haven't seen it yet, i have seen the trailer though.

     

    I dunno if i'd recommend re-starting Earthbound unless you really want to given how it's taken you awhile to get halfway through it, but if you'd rather play through M1 and re-do EB from scratch, go ahead. I'll say this, Mother 1's relatively short in comparison to Earthbound though.

    Right... I'll need to think about it, then. I'll play through M1 first, though.

    Super Mario Maker might be one of the worst ideas ever created, not because it is bad because it is really great, but the fact that the game has almost no limit which makes it so crazy! :)

    I'd personally recommend Smash Wii U over 3DS, but both versions are fantastic. The DLC's helping to make sure there's plenty of content to stay excited for in the future, too.

    Ah, in that case, the 3DS version is still a fine game! AS for the DLC, it depends on your interests. Since they're usually individual characters or costumes, it depends on if you're at all interested in using the character offered, or if you want to battle them. I'm personally trying to complete the roster, although I've enjoyed all of the DLC characters and stages so far. They're a little pricey, but considering how much work goes into making even one new character,...

    Ugh, comment got cut off. Basically, I personally think the DLC prices are fair. I can see why some don't think they are, though.

     

    No problem! It's definitely a game that can keep you entertained for a while.

    Well the new Smash Bros DLC launched today, the World Championships was today, and Mother 1 is now Earthbound Beginnings and is on the American VC right now on the eShop!

    Don't care for any of those games, and I am hoping Sony or Microsoft gives me reason for wanting to get one of their new systems, as I will get one regardless for KH3, but I still want to play more than one game on a single system! But hey, there is no telling a Nintendo fan that another company is better, cause in the end you still like what you liked when you woke up in the morning!
