Just like Scottish Skarmory, I am trying to beat KHIIFM on Critical with only the Kingdom Key. I really think I'm going to regret my decision. But oh well. LET THE CHALLENGE BE ACCEPTED!

i am a stickler for physical games. i just dont like digital
WakingDawn96 repliedI prefer physical copies as well, but if the only way I can get the game is digital, then I am willing to get it that way too. But there has to be reason why I would get digital over physical
WakingDawn96 repliedWhat about digital only releases, Sorual? Like Shovel Knight and Pokemon Battle Trozei?
Sorual replied@wakingdawn those are the only times i make acceptions. but any game thats avaliale physically, i prefer to get physically. (aside from steam games for some reason
)@blankshell yeah. picky and old fashioned or not, i just feel more comfortable with physical. i can still do digital, but id much rather physical. and yeah. nintendo digital is pretty risky. i heard someone lost like 100 hour of animal crossing by losing their 3ds. o_O
WakingDawn96 replied@BlankShell Maybe you can think that people are trying to be "old fashioned", but just try and think about what it meant to have the actual copy of the game. It was your copy, yours alone, and you could hold it, look at it, feel it, and you truly felt like you had the game. Now if digital games, it is like we don't have it, even if we do. We can't see it all the time and it just doesn't have the same feeling. There is something special about real games that digital games j...
WakingDawn96 repliedWell remember this, we all like different things, and you shouldn't call others names just because you think a different way. There are always going to be people who want physical copies more and those who want digital more. Calling people "old fashioned" is name calling in the least, and you shouldn't really do it, because you don't know how that will make the other person feel.
WakingDawn96 repliedPlus I got MK8 in digital after losing my actual copy and I haven't really played it as much as when I had the actual copy. So that goes to show my feelings on Digital games
Jilly Shears repliedI think digital games are fine if they have physical versions too so you have the choice of owning a copy or just a license to play it out of convenience.
BTW Monster Hunter 4 is insanely good, but I'm sure there'll be enough copies to go around. MH3U copies are still floating around out there, and I doubt Capcom would have only made a first print or some bullshit like that.
WakingDawn96 repliedWell I guess to me actual copies of a game make it feel like it has life. It just how I feel, and I know it is something others will find not to their liking. But we all like different styles of living, and that makes us different from everybody else.
Shulk replied@BlankShell I'm actually starting to run out of space on both my 3DS and Wii U, and while I could buy more SD cards or an external hard drive (And I do plan on buying a 32GB micro SD card when I get my New 3DS XL), that's just added cost to the game in the first place. Besides, I haven't really noticed much of a price difference between a new copy of a physical game, or the digital version. Pre-owned copies of physical games are usually the cheapest option from my experiences.
Shulk repliedThey've had a lot of digital sales in the past few years. Their first ventures into digital gaming admittedly haven't been the best, but they're getting a lot better. Their physical game production has been fine, they're only really having issues with things like amiibo and limited edition systems. Even with those, there have been a lot of other factors contributing to their scarcity (Scalpers, and apparently a port strike has affected US stock).
Sorual replied@jilly yeah. i called some stores and they said that they would get more shipments of MH4U.

@Shulk yeah. digital sales are awesome!
i actually do understand th appeal of digital games. the whole idea of having 1 machine (console) with a whole bunch or games right on there. sounds pretty cool. but id just rather have physical.

So, I just went to a high school play that was doing Shrek: The Musical because I knew one of the kids in the cast. It was actually pretty funny and not like 'so bad it's good', but genuinely hilarious.

I keep thinking that they might release more functional Amiibo in MK8, more than what there is already. I think they are holding some off for the DLC Pack 2.
