Woo the yen went up because of Dolan. Yet another reason why I'm not looking forward to the next 4 years.

Watched The Animal Crossing anime movie last night, and I gotta say, I loved it so much. It made me laugh, smile, cry, and even a little annoyed at a few single points. In the end, everything about it was amazing!

Welp, when two idiots candidate the chances were high that one idiot wins. Good luck Amerika. I honestly hope that doesn't affect anyone's life here negatively.

Though I know I will get backlash for this-- but I am totally okay with Trump winning. I know what he has done...but all presidents have done bad things.

Well not proud of our current President, still think he's trash, but let's see if he'll back up his big mouth. At least Hilary didn't get the win.

This is the most astounding, depressing, and unreal thing I've ever experienced. I'm sorry to everybody who will suffer as a result of what we've done.

PRESIDENT TRUMP! THANK YOU LORD GOD!
KingdomHearts3 repliedExactly. When a year and a half ago some said he would win, they were laughed at. Now, it's no laughing matter, but reality. I am so happy!

I love how there's so much negativity towards Trump. Let the man get into office and see what he can do before casting judgement
BlankShell repliedI think he's already proven why he can't do the things he's expected to do. If we had to reserve judgment, we wouldn't have a months-long process.
BlankShell repliedBy that logic, I should get any job I apply to regardless of qualifications, and only get fired from my job of rocket scientist when they figure out I don't know rocket science. Trump handed us his resume. We should have looked at "Interests: Grabbing women by their" and then tossed it out.
BlankShell repliedThat's just so... I dunno, fatalistic? Sure, we can be pleasantly surprised if he doesn't kneel before Putin, but it never should have gotten here in the first place.
Karasu3 repliedI'm not arguing. I don't want to hear any whining either. If you don't want to put your best foot forward, that's your business. However, enough is enough. It's as simple as this: if you can't move on and try to stay positive no matter what happens, it only proves how sad you are as a person. End of discussion.

BlankShell repliedAww, I don't actually like cheese, so I can't participate in the conversation >:
BlankShell repliedLol, I'm just weird when it comes to cheese, I've accepted this.
What about cake? Everybody loves cakes. Cakes have layers.
BlankShell repliedYou know what everybody else likes? Parfait. You even seen someone who said "hey man, I don't want no parfait"? I didn't think so.

For those of you who think the world is ending you don't understand how checks and balances work LOL
BlankShell repliedIt's not about grand scale nuclear detonation, as much as that likes to be a favorite punchline. It's about the small-scale cultural discrepancies. There will be policies passed that disenfranchise and discriminate against minorities and will cause hardships and deaths that could have been avoided. We barely have universal healthcare, and we're already screwing ourselves over.
HarLea Quinn repliedIf you think we weren't already screwing ourselves before today I have no words. People want change and that's how this happened no matter what party you voted for. People were not happy and they spoke loud and clear.
HarLea Quinn repliedXiro when Obama won his first term the democrats held the majority for two years and they still did not win everything they wanted.
BlankShell repliedSure people want change, but they clearly weren't thinking anything beyond that; things can (and will) change for the worse. Voting in a thin-skinned demagogue might bring about change, but it's change that will screw over MORE people, not less.
I doubt Bernie would have had a better shot, but then again, a lot of inherent and disguised misogyny wouldn't have been a factor.
Geralt repliedLet's not forget about how the republicans completely ignore global climate change and think it's not real. -_- We need to act on that ASAP, but with republicans in control..well...that's not good. And then not to mention with the one dood elected as president relations between the US and other countries could be very well in crappy shape. Look at what the man says and does. So technically with global climate change not being acted upon, the world is ending. o.o
HarLea Quinn repliedThey were thinking beyond that- Hillary has a list of transgressions that led to this result. You can easily point out Trumps negatives but you cannot ignore Hillary's either and she by far is more dangerous. She was fired for being a liar and unethical. Her list of scandals is outrageous. As for climate change- it's important but it's the least of our problems right now.
BlankShell repliedOf course you can't ignore the negatives for both, but a made-up controversy over emails somehow outweighs open advocation for racism and sexual assault? You can't tell me those two things are equal. She might be an unethical player, but she at least knows the game. Trump does not.
BlankShell repliedWait, we're saying somebody who routinely denies supporting the Iraq war (but is ON TAPE as doing so), whose "charity" is proven to defraud veterans and others, and who systematically discriminated against and refused to pay workers when starting his (eventually failed) businesses is 'honest'? The guy who won't release his tax returns? That's one of the most mind-boggling parts of these past two years.
HarLea Quinn repliedBlankshell- the email controversy was not made up- Comey himself said if someone else did the same thing they would be prosecuted. The Clinton Foundation has been reported fraudulant. Hillary has defended a child rapist and attacked Bills rape/sexual assualt victims. Hillary has expressed her views AGAINST gay marriage in the past . She called black people super predators. She said she would not relate to the middle class. She said she has a private platform and a public one. I could go on an...
BlankShell repliedAnd yet somehow cleared her (TWICE) of any wrongdoing. The Clinton Foundation is under investigation not for fraudulent usage, but where the money came from (and like the emails, will turn out to be nothing). Hillary Clinton has changed and evolved her views (she also voted for the Iraq War, I'm not pretending she didn't). Donald Trump just denies those were his positions at all, when they were. That's a HUGE difference.
HarLea Quinn repliedHillary is a humongous war monger. Hillary has 30 years of corruption- that's what shes experienced in.
HarLea Quinn repliedI find it hilarious people will excuse Hillary and her lies and deception. Neither candidate is worthy. Especially not her.
Geralt repliedSure. Most if not all politicians pretty much do that. That's just how things work, sadly. But views and opinions can change. Sometimes politicians genuinely change their stance. Look at how back and forth Trump has gone though. He literally changes his stance in the middle of a sentence.
BlankShell repliedEven assuming that's true (it isn't) Donald Trump has, on the record, 30 years of actual business failures, racism, discrimination, misogyny, and sexual assault. How that even compares to some of the alleged (and heretofore unproven) controversies that surround Clinton absolutely blows my mind and destroys my sense of what the human race values.
HarLea Quinn repliedSorry but both candidates are not worthy. Hillary has 30 years of lies, war mongering, defending sexual assualt of women and children, racism ( she supports Margaret Sanger btw who wanted to exterminate the black race) She failed on keeping classified information secure yet wants to get a 'promotion." I could go on and on and on.
HarLea Quinn repliedAlso Blankshell you say her controversies were unproven- the same could be said for Trump. It's a double standard. If you think Hillary is here to save the day ...lol
HarLea Quinn repliedHilary has also accepted funds from countries who finance terrorism but that's also ok?
BlankShell repliedWhat controversy of Trumps has gone unproven? He's on tape advocating sexual assault, the DOJ slammed him in the 80's for discriminating against minority workers, his charity money went to a portrait of himself, among others. If he wants to clear up anything, he could release his tax returns... except, y'know, he's be the first candidate in history that didn't.
Even if the "both candidates aren't worthy" line his merit, then ignore their pasts. Look...
BlankShell repliedLook at their current policies and proposals.* Clinton wants to expand education and healthcare. Trump wants to ban Muslims and build a wall between Mexico.
HarLea Quinn repliedIf that politician is crooked - nope. She's part of the corruption we need to rid ourselves of. Businessman can be useful btw. We need financially guided. Regardless Like I said- neither is worthy.
HarLea Quinn replied@ quid she is not though. She's crooked. She's corrupt. She should not lead this country.
HarLea Quinn repliedGeralt hes rich as fudge. Also, he strategically declared business bankruptcy not personal bakkruptcy- there is a difference. It was on purpose. He can use any loophole he wants to save money on his tax returns and if Hillary showed hers i bet she would be no different.
HarLea Quinn repliedYou can't ignore Hillary's past or her current misdeeds
Also the Clintons used the Clinton Foundation to fund Chelseas wedding. Double standards. Like I said. Both candidates not worthy.HarLea Quinn repliedBoth candidates have been accused of the violation of women in many ways. Both accused of discrimination and lies. Both accused of abusing their charities. Both. One is not less guilty than another.
HarLea Quinn repliedI personally wouldn't have wanted any of the candidates we had to choose from this election bc of the lack of worthy choices. It is what it is unfortunately.
BlankShell repliedWell, the third parties actually had a significant showing... to the detriment of race itself. The time for third party advocation isn't right before an election, it's right after. We do need to change the system. Putting a liar and a racist in office isn't the way.
HarLea Quinn repliedWe would be better off getting rid of the bipartisan BS that plagues the voting system. Putting liars and criminals in office does not serve us either. I was not happy with our choices this election.
