So, everyone must have watched the brand new KH 2.8 trailer, but what do you guys think of the new Simple and Clean Mix that is going to be used for the opening of 0.2!?

 

Personally, I'm really digging it!

 

I know it's just a mix and not a brand new theme, but still it makes me even more excited let me wonder what to expect of a possible new theme when KH3 actually does come out.

 

What about you guys!?

What I like most about this news of there being a new remix is that it means they won't take the songs out of KH3D, which is something I was wondering if they would have to, since they at one point weren't allowed to make digital games containing those songs, and if people are correct and there will be a digital version of KH2.8, then that means KH3D won't be changed when it comes to the music after all!

Good point! Regarding the music department we are well served for DDD imo.

 

I'm really intrigued on what 0.2 OST may sound like as well though (not to mention Back Cover)...

I absolutely love that remix version. Didn't expect to hear anything new before KH3, so I was pleasantly surprised.

And tbh when I heard the first few seconds I thought it's a new song And thanks for the video, gonna play it on repeat

This remix is awesome! Gonna have to get myself a PS4 just to play 2.8 and 3 but it'll be worth it

'Tis a beautiful remix indeed!  Definitely amazing, and I just loved how the music synced up with the trailer, it was just so breathtaking!  I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the full intro of 0.2 when we finally have 2.8 in our hands!

The new mix of Hikari/Simple and Clean was probably one of the many, great things about the trailer. Can't wait to hear the full version and see the full intro. There's some powerful stuff in that intro.

I thought the trailer was just so beautiful and I loved the new remix of Hikari/Simple and Clean. It was very despite all the bad stuff we know is gonna happen, there's still hope and salvation for the characters that are lost hence "Ray of hope" mix I guess lol. I can't wait to see and hear what's gonna be the output of KH3's theme. I'm sure it'll bring some nice comfortable, yet nostalgic feel.

I think I like it more the more I listen to it but initially I wasn't a fan. The trailer kept buffering for me and after hearing the first few seconds I thought "Oh no! They replaced Utada with a crappy J-Pop band!"

I guess the whole cheerful aspect of this mix does reflect the whole "Hope" and "Light in the Hearts of Children" theme.

 

That's why it feels so great in my opinion...

 

Yes Aqua is going to suffer and a lot will happen to her in the World of Darkness.

 

Yes the story of the Foretellers won't have a happy ending, either.

 

But it's all about that "Ray of Hope" that better days will come in the end. It's all about preparing us for KH3!!!

Full Extended Theme is finally here and like we expected, it's AMAZING!!!
