A major criticism that I have with Organazation XIII that I hope will be fixed in KH3

The organization to me are the most fascinating characters within the Kingdom hearts lore but there is one thing that REALLY bugs me with a large majority of the members in the organization. That is the fact that most of the members feel unrelated to the main plot of KH specifically Xaldin, Lexeues, Zexion, Siax, Demyx, Luxord, and Larxene. The rest of the members Xemnas, Axel, Xigbar, Vexan, Roxas, and now recently Marluixa have had at least some importance within the KH lore which really bugs me because honestly I'll admit that the overall main reason why Xigbar/Braig is my favorite member is because of how much importance he has with Xehanort as his human form Braig is technically Xehanort's right hand man. I do hope Nomura can somehow make each individual member have at least some BIG importance in the story of KH3 because considering how the rest of the members that I just mentioned feel so bland compared to the others in the KH story as of right now. And I do mean every member within the organization like I would love to see some sort of History being explained between Aleues and Dilan since they both were guards in Radiant Garden or a possible connection between Ienzo, Evan, and Blaine. (I'm not giving up on that!)  Now I know some people may disagree with me here but I am honestly refreshed about the recent Union Cross update involving Lauraim which to me it looks interesting as it sounds like Marluxia is gonna have a BIG part in the story of UC which is pretty refreshing considering how little screen time he has had in KH. And I honestly HOPE Nomura somehow ties the other 3 Organization members within Xchi and make them feel SUPER important if at all possible. (and lets be honest here, where else can the origins of Demyx, Luxord and Larxene be explained?). If I have to be honest here though, I won't be surprised if Luxord ends up being the Master of Masters or some crazy plot twist like that. lol, i'm Kidding  (but I only say that because of Nomura's fascination with Luxord, that to me raises a red flag that Luxord will play some huge important role at some point in time). But what Organization member do you want to see get expanded on? I'd say Luxord considering we literally know nothing about him other than that he's a poker addict.

I've felt that many of the members have had their fair share of screentime and plot relevance. Vexen had a major part to play in both Sora and Riku's stories in CoM. He was also quite relevant in Days seeing as he was the one that created Xion. Larxene was also hughly important in CoM. Marluxia wasn't alone trying to overthrow the Organization. The members I've felt have been very pushed to the sidelines would be Demyx and Luxord. The rest have played their parts. If you need them to be shoehorned where they don't belong - like has recently happened to Marluxia - for them to feel "important" then I strongly disagree with you. I don't know what Nomura is planning with having Marluxia and Ventus forced into KHX's plot but I'm hating it so much. In my opinion he's extremely close to George Lucasing himself soon.

You're a bit misguided. These members had their own share in the story. I don't get where you got that idea about Xemnas, but oh well. Everyone had their own role in the story. That in no way makes them irrelevant.

I think their roles to the whole story is fine how it is because not everyone needs to have an important role, but I hate the fact that they didn't get more screentime and characterisation in Days. Such a waste.

Okay that makes more sense. Xemnas had a significant role. He helped determine who joins the true Organization 13.

Well, to take another example, let's look at the Akatsuki from the Naruto series! That organization consists of multiple members, but not all of them are directly associated with Madara Uchiha. Tobi was the only person who truly knew what was going on, and what was to be accomplished with the Akatsuki, and the others were being used to carry out Madara's plans. Each character had their own moment to shine, and they had screentime and importance to their respective arks!

 

I would argue that Organization XIII's members have all had some interesting development to them, chiefly in Chain Of Memories, as that's where we see the half of the Organization that is absent from Kingdom Hearts II! They all have their own things going on, and I'm sure their Somebodies are just as interesting people! Just look at Lauriam, who turns out is from the X era! That's some interesting stuff right there! I'm sure that each remaining Organization member will have something interesting going for them!

Nah I never had that issue,I wish some of them had more screen time sure,especially in 358/2 Days since it's suppose to be the Organization's game,but I don't think every single one of them should have a MAJOR role for KH3 since the organization members are essentially just Xehanort's puppets

that's the problem with putting 13 antagonists into a single story.

 

hence why we got that semi-boss rush during the end of the KH2. there were still members left to take out so we just ended up fighting them back to back to back. 

 

the multiple Disney antagonists worked in KH1 because they were directly tied to a world and that cemented their relevance to the story, because it was about saving the worlds from falling into darkness. 

 

in KH2, the Organization is just there to put heartless in the worlds, which is weird because i figured heartless naturally appeared in the worlds anyways.

Plz, this is NOMURA we're talking abuot.  No way he is just gonna leave Larxene behind like that (and the other guys, what are their names? lol I kid).  What's the point of bringing them in if they only serve as the antagonist for one game..IN A SERIES.

Well, remember that Nomura said that all character arcs will be resolved in Kingdom Hearts III, so hopefully we'll get closure for Larxene, Demyx and Luxord!
