Let's be honest here, at this point there is not much to catch up on. And the things that are there are likely easy to catch up on by watching the story relevant cutscenes, which don't amount to that much yet. Even Back Cover did not have a partocularly deep plot so far, so all in all I feel like it wouldn't even take a day to catch up.

I believe that even a brief summary with a few pictures would suffice for casual players to get the gist of it without having played the game or having watched the movie. For now.

I would like to play it all the way through, but will probably just end up watching the cutscenes. I got burned out from the game awhile ago, and haven't really wanted to play it much anymore.

im up to date, well at least as far as our version is

Well i'm all caught up with the story, but I just don't understand a thing about it hahah.

So i'll watch Everglow's Timeline video to sink it all in.

I’ve been playing it near every day since release, but knowing Square, KH3 will probably be out before the English version actually gets anywhere meaningful.
