It had nothing to do with vanitas. It was because of Xehanort

i wanted to make a meme and sony vegas died on me

lol

Thank god there's finally clarification that Xion is the third heart

I wasn't sure why so many thought it was Ava

Plus DDD kinda foreshadows/clues-in that she's one of the three hearts

Yeah Riku being asked by three people

representing the three hearts

I'm surprised people were questioning it tbh

IKR

So I saw a video on the Virus today and the dude suggested that Eraqus is a descendant to Brain and Brain is the one who receives the Gazing Eye I'm not sure if the secret report to interview was fully translated when this theory was made

But based upon it, I'd say this guy's theory holds up

I think a few ppl are saying he is descended from brain because of the appearance

The second secret report confirms that Eraqus has the blood of the ancient masters in him

And in the interview, Nomura said the first masters referred to are those of the Dandelions

It's definitely Brain

It's the only logical answer

Strelitza dies, ventus doesn't age, ephmer probably dies soon considering we see his spirit in kh3, so the only logical answer is Brain

they should take exactly 13 mods and call them, Modernization 13

The theory suggests that all but Brain and Ephemer were sent forward in time. This includes characters we haven't seen in UX yet like Luxord and Demyx's human forms.

Ephemer likely stays behind and Brain explains everything to him, including that the chosen one (which we can assume is Sora) can change the fate of the future.

It's suggested Brain takes on the Gazing Eye and turns Daybreak into Scala vis the method used to turn LoD into Castle Oblivion

That makes sense but hmk's theory about it being built on the ruins of Daybreak Town also makes sense

Well let's go with this idea

The great "Darkness" still consumes the land, what if turning into Scala locked away the Darkness to hold it back for some time

It's actually been proven via the February update that alongside Luxu, Brain already knows that a Darkness is coming in a world where the Keyblade War never happened

It can be assumed that the way Daybreak looked before becoming Scala is similar to how Darkness consumed the LoD before Aqua turned it into Castle Oblivion

Wait I'm not sure if they've shown Brain's keyblade, as I don't play UX. But if they haven't, what if it's Eraqus's?

It could be that too

But if that's the case, then Ephemer receives the Gazing Eye

One of those two is getting one or the other

On one hand him having Eraqus's keyblade would add to your theory

On the other... who knows lol

I mean we'll find out within the April(?) Update

I would hope at least

Soon enough Luxu is supposed to show up and pass down the Keyblade.
