vexen atonning for what he did is a plot twist that wasnt really built up and it was out of character

like vexen as a character is very much dedicated to researching the heart by any means necessary

I think I enjoyed it first playthrough it wasn't all that bad, in crit it felt a bit more annoying though

it's fun but overused imo, and considering how basic it is, that and the fact that on crit you just wanna get through everything (or at least that's how I played) it becomes more tedious than fun

after I fixed the ship in port royal I went straight to the davy jones fight, but the huge boat fight before it is a nightmare if your ship is base level

on my level 1 playthrough though I saw this coming and actually grinded it out to level 6, and it was actually pretty fun

port royal's a lot more fun casually than hardcore (aka crit for me)

cause when im playing casual I actually explore and do things when im on crit and higher difficulty I just go and abandon everything

Xion’s comeback in KH3 was a bit weird

It's just because it was rushed, really

It shouldn’t have been, it’s not like they didn’t have the time to plan the story lol

KH2 had this nice theme of identity going on and it ends with both characters who fought hard to keep their identity having to let go of it in order to return to where they belong

A bittersweet ending that would've been more effective if it didn't run counter to the arc of the characters lol

But then comes KH3 and Roxas has his triumphant return and he doesn't even comment on it

He basically says "hey bro, I just needed a connection bro, that's it bro"

Not a satisfying conclusion to his character arc since the arc was basically abandoned

Xion is even worse

The return of "everyone's memories" of her was resumed to Axel realizing her existence

She was introduced too late into the story and turned to the good side too soon

We could've had her show up in San Fran to create some mystery and intrigue, but I think having Riku model 4 was more important

KH3 is just skewed priorities: the game
