It would have been a solo mini fight that are basic org fights

But basically my problem is this was the end of xehanort saga yet we didn't know much on him and Scala being his school would have been the best opportunity to really flesh out the world

They also went through all the trouble of creating that entire classroom that we never see

The classroom was 100% meant to be used more there’s just no doubt about it

Even if they only planned to have it in more cutscenes

I mean I don't really think we needed to know anything about his past necessarily what we had was okay enough that he wanted knowledge and he was going to make it happen until his motivation suddenly has a second part to it that we were never told about until now

Trust me I have this whole senario in head I wish I could show but I don't have a team of 100 devs lol

I might agree with you that we didn’t need to learn more to have more motivation to end Xehanort or whatever but when Nomura himself says that he wanted to explore his past and then it just doesn’t end up in the game idk what to say at that point lol

I mean that's why we have DR now basically this would have been set in kh3 but we have this now

This franchise is terrible

Part of me wanted xehanort to remain in the BBS timeline, but I think his appearance in DDD got me more hyped for kh3

Now he's involved in every game in some way

Can’t wait to see Xehanort’s pet turtle in KH6 when we go to Finding Nemo world

like riku’s keyblade broke and he leaves it there for his other self. He’s giving his other self a broken keyblade that gets fixed magically. cncncjcj

and the heartless haircut.

I feel like the plot point of him leaving it for his other self was supposed to be something bigger but it really didn't turn out to be anything

You get that cool cutscene with replica Riku standing with the keyblade next to him but that's about it

All they had to do was have a scene where Kairi gives them a haircut so they actually feel like a trio for at least 2 minutes smh

tbh. there’s a lot of stuff that felt like it should have been bigger but didn’t lead anywhere.

Way To Dawn being replaced with an enlarged car key, because a tornado of shadow heartless broke it is next level dumbarsery

Really doesn’t help their case when I can block the entire demon tide with one key

I legit can’t tell if these things were done in purpose or not

I believe this idea came from Skywardwing or whatever name he's going by now
I believe he said that he would have done the fight where you go through scala and fight Xehanort and learn about him before the fight or something like that. Well I wanna add to this idea, we could have gotten this but maybe the stuff we learn about Xehanort could have been info foreshadowing Dark Road, etc etc etc but that us just me

Basically dark Road scala cutscenes flashbacks as you were going through the world is what it would be I imagined

Yeah something like that

But like obviously we wouldn't get the full context till Dark Road came out, for example we would see Xehanort with his class mates and teach but we wouldn't know their names

I imagine they could just give us names and we would learn about them as we go through the world with the cutscenes

And probably have them as physical ghosts or something
