It's not that people are too stupid to realise

Theres a lot of tactics used to make ppl not think about how much it all costs

Do people not check their bank accounts regularly to see how much they spent?

You have to feel bad for ppl because for some it ties into their addictions

Yeah but this is why ppl have been slamming down on these mobile games for gambling mechanics

I wouldn’t call them stupid either, I know what addiction is (some of my relatives are smokers who have been trying to stop for years)

And also keep in mind

These are micro transactions

Which means this is the total cost that has been accumulated over months of spending

People dont realise when you start pricing things at 3 dollars/euro/pounds a try. They get in a state of mind where they believe what they are doing is affordable but if you calculate the sum total its beyond a reasonable price.

And talk about quick devaluing of items in a mobile game

I mean mobile games are gacha as hell.
