To be fair, BotW's whole point is to go around and look for stuff, this is more of a find your way to the right destination and see some weird shit on your way there

That's fair, but I guess it fits with the Souls-like online system that's set up where you can leave stuff and kinda sounded like you can build stuff too, for other people to see and use

well gameplay wasn't that short, if they were trying to sell the game with that I'm not sold.

I'll just probably do the same as Marlushi and just watch a streamer play it or all cutscenes together once someone uploads it.

I only played the base game of FF15, that was the big complaint as not being much to do outside of the story.
