yeah the main melody is not nearly as dominating as I remembered it to be.

it seems more prominent in later versions. Giving it more of an epic feel to it. Perhaps I just never noticed it before outside of battle

I discussed about this with a friend one day, I think they re-recorded them (2.5 Roxas sounds different than BBS Ventus)

I remember seeing Final Mix footage of the Mystery Figure boss.

Me not knowing what a Final Mix was, I tried looking everywhere to try to find some way to unlock em.

I thought maybe if I activated a thing in Traverse Town, Something would happen.

I even tried merlins magic test thingy cause I thought it would work like the colosseum.

At that point I didn’t even care about activating the boss.

I was just looking for secrets for fun.

novel goes up to the end of the war when Ephemere/Skuld reunite with Player, then it talks about when the new leaders meet in the keyblade graveyard/maleficent arrives from the future (it's during the epilogue: Unchained X)

nothing new aside from more descriptive feelings and Player being a boy from the Anguish union, a lot happened since in the game

just watch story scenes on youtube if it's all that interests you
