The only game with dlc so far is kh3

This game is a standalone release

Well the last KH we got on a console like system (although it was a handled) was in 2012 and getting lots of updates wasn’t really a big thing at that point

Most of the previous games were before DLC was really a big thing, and they sort of had DLC in the form of special "final mix" versions with added content.

But they do tend to get a few updates from time to time if they deem it necessary I guess

KH3 had a few free updates, a chunk of free DLC, and one paid DLC.

And then done. So, they seem fairly restrained with it so far, which is nice.

I ask because I'm debating on spending the 60 usd if the game will not have much content or updated content coming

This game has over 140 songs from the whole series and there are no plans to make DLC

It's a good starting point if you're a newcomer

And has more songs than most rhythm games

They announced no DLCs, but KH3 kinda did that too so, hard to tell

If there will be DLC I'd say it'll probably be a good while before it happens and it'll only happen once.

Square generally likes releasing actually complete games.

How much do you think they’d even price a dlc for this at? Like say it adds 25+ songs or so

Remind was 30 so I am expecting it to be pretty high

Depends on how much content and difficult to say really.

And if they decide to do any.

They didn't entirely rule it out, though. Just said they have no plans currently, IIRC.

I wouldn't be surprised but it's not something to count on
