Has anyone played fire emblem games? Any to recommend on switch 2 to start out?

I played sacred Stones a lot as a kid and I tried three houses once but then I was called into work a weekend shift and then proceeded to never get weekends off again for like a few months and then punched a window out at that job and never got caught (somehow) scared the hell out of me but it was cool and eventually I quit that job. It's been some years since then.

Never got back to three houses

Three Houses if you like Persona style storytelling. Engage if you want good gameplay but a rather weak crossover story

Three Houses was my first one and I really enjoyed it

I still need to play Path of Radiance on the gamecube because its apparently the best one according to my friends

I've only ever completed 7(i think? the "original" GBA one), some of 6, and Awakening but i could recommend all three. Awakening is definitely more in line with the newer games as it was the "revival" of the series. I've heard only great things about echoes as well

of the newer stuff i know everyone enjoys 3 houses but there are also so many replays needed(which is why the upcoming one is letting you bounce between paths now so I've heard)

just came back from seeing it, quite good maybe a bit conventional tho

i think i like where it is going in term of story
