okay looking back at it no, not really

you control the party leader while the rest of the party does its own thing

ff15 did that too with controlling noctis but the other 3 just did their thing, until dlc allowed you to play as all 4 by switching on the fly

which I like

ff16 is another action rpg which has me, mildly concerned

since that format is more of a single player character focus

So far it seems single player focused

So with the dlc, it allows for switching like 7R?

The modern setting of FFXV felt a bit off to me, even as someone who had never played any FF before trying out the FFXV demo

It's great on FF7 though

I never played Final Fantasy in my life but Tifa is beautiful

I'm also glad XVI is going to a more fantasy setting

FFXV gameplay is GREAT in my opinion
i just would add some kind of combo system, or at least something else than holding circle

I couldnt pass up the ffxiv vibes but maybe its bc thats one of the only games Ive played the last few months
