It took a while but it grew on me an i learned to like the custom ability of Sora's deck. But then I played Riku's story and it was REALLY boring b/c i couldn't custom ANYTHING! I had to make myself play Riku's story. I didn't enjoy it really at all:-/ So yeah, I love the card system:D I always spammed Cloud and various magic slights.

I enjoyed it very much, on the GBA. I have only watched people play re:com tho, so i d'no how it worked out with the ps2.

It was funner on the GBA.

PS2? Not so much.

I liked the, "Build your own deck" part of the card system. I just wish you could pick the exact card you want at the moogle shop, and not just get random cards that you might already have (It took me two days to get five Thunder cards, don't even get me started lol) I'd also much rather just have the normal menu, ( you know, Attack, Magic, Item, Etc.) But overall, I thought it the card system was... umm... creative.

I loved it on the GBA I thought it was a clever way of emulating the same pace of battle like on the Playstation and it was awesome how many Spells Sora could use.

 

I haven't played ReCOM I really wish it came out here (SE being stingy) but I've seen great video playthroughs of it especially pacey's he's unreal at it and Sora has and even greater skillset in it and Riku's duel thing looked awesome, it's a shame when DC recorded the battles just Stock Spammed it made the battles kinda boring -shot for critisim-.

Xion Riku's part was awesome and in my opinion I think his story was more interesting than Sora's and he kinda reminde me of Cecil from FFIV and Mickey & Riku make as great a team as Ratchet & Clank

I didn't like Riku's part so much either, actually, lol.

He is a little similar to Cecil, isn't he? Huh.

I got kinda bored making the card decks so I luved playing Riku's story... although the worlds where you have a weak deck were really hard...

i liked rikus story ^^ his cards were complete ownage and u didnt have to wait a long time to reload

Oh GAWD! I hated Captain Hook! He kept throwing bombs at me:dodgy: Spazz pirate!

I thought it was okay. At first thought it was so cool but then it got boring. I liked Riku's mode because I didn't have to worry so much about the order and stuff.

It was ok. The sleights on the remake were AWESOME!!!! It was really cool. But however, here are the complaints. The bosses' cards are too high. It took me forever to beat Vexen because he had 9 numbered cards, and I had none of those. And the enemies' cards are too low. They aren't a challenge at all. I am at Castle Oblivion (you know, the 13th and last floor) and they still use 1 numbered cards. How lame.

 

And right now, this game really annoys me, and I feel like using cheats

... I love you. I mean, seriously - that sums Luxord up entirely. (hasn't read any bit of the thread before this post) I should take a poll - Who hates Luxord? (Well, besides his super weird boss battle... I never fought the Gambler Nobodies, or if I did I was just like 'WTF! O_O' so that got me totally confused... ) There's nothing to hate, really! He's hot, he's got a sexy British accent, he's in Port Royal, stealin' treasure, and he promotes gambling! He's, like, the most illegal character in the series because of that! And I would've really loved to see a scene were he actually suggests the whole card thing. Although, they never really divulge who suggested tho whole card thing, but it's kind of obvious Luxord had SOMETHING to do with it.
