I would love to see a new Kingdom Hearts remake remaster. Days and coded are still only cutscenes in the HD collection.

I dunno, the HD2D games feel like a great way of introducing players to games they otherwise might never play. I know I never would have had the time/patience to play through the original DQ 3

Plus, at least there's something coming out, versus what we currently have with KH, which is absolutely nothing

I would still like something that consolidates/compiles the story content from the mobile releases. It's wild that there's important (potentially vital) lore that's completely locked away

Commented on this video pretty much saying the same thing I said in this channel

Apparently they are supposed to be two different teams. But I wouldn't really be surprised at this point. I don't know if trying to get Nomura to work on multiple different things/projects is a good idea. This has been the expectation by most for awhile now

Didn't that happen before that he was stuck on more than two projects?

idk I was just kind of saying

He was directing KH3 and Part 1 of FF7 Remake at the same time

As far as I can recall he was Executive Producer or something along those lines for Part 2 and similarly for Part 3

So the 2 projects shouldn't be impacting the progress of each other, but the main reason that I would think that KairiStan's prediction could end up being accurate is because Square Enix seem to be quite particular about not having too many of their games released nearby to each other

And by the way that press/marketing seems to be going FF7 Part 3 is getting more info released than KH4, meaning that Square are absolutely pushing to have FF7 done first

i think they have a very specific planning for the next few years yeah

Which is totally reasonable and understandable. It's just that it might mean we have to wait longer than we'd hoped 🙁

He is credited as "Creative Director" for the Final Fantasy VII games after Remake.

Yeah they want the cash Cow milked for all its worth before they bring in disney for talks about kh 4 stuff

I mean it practically goes without saying that Square considers FF bigger than KH

The ridiculous part comes in where they expect people to wait until 2027+ for the game (KH4). Yes clearly it was revealed too early. Yes they are going through a company 'reboot' or whatever you want to call it (going back to multiplatform releases). Pretty shitty excuses though when all they want to do is 'hurr hurr have these screenshots that will clearly tide you over until 2027+ right?'

they been on a fail streak lately

it started with KHDR getting shutdown after only 1 year

then scrapping KHML
