Whoever does localization for Square likely has access to the original scripts and notes from Nomura and the writers, but there’s been plenty of instances, or so I’m told, where some things don’t quite translate correctly and nuance is lost.

Well Japanese is difficult to translate into English

So there's that

Translators/Localizers sometimes have to be like "Yeah this...this sounds about right" and continue on to the next

Even for me, translating from JP to ENG is difficult at times, depending on the context

I’ve never even been able to pass a non-English class, so I can’t speak on the matter

I like to see Riku and Kairi like in kh2 with long hair. And maybe some sort of changes to Aqua if they are included in the games

Realistically though, Kairi will probably have short hair bc she’s based on Utada.

I mean, we’ve already seen that they don’t change their looks after Sora being gone for a year, so unless they plan to retcon that I don’t see most of the cast getting new looks
