it's moreso that it would be easier to figure out what went wrong if something goes wrong. If you've got the entire world playing the beta and the server suddenly crashes it'll take a while to figure out what happened. you need to pinpoint it quicker and sort it out for the full release

when you claim f2p, the join time matters. Day 1 f2p, vs year 3 joiner is very different for example

I did, but you've hit on the point I was making: a single experience can't be used to judge the system as a whole

i missed out on being a early player for khux

joined day 1 for KHDR, didnt miss 1 day

going to join day 1 for missing link, and prob never drop it
