What's your favourite version of Dearly Beloved?

I picked BBS, as I feel that it tells the entire story of the events of that game while giving hope for the three characters. After that, I pick KH2, as for me, that's when I feel Shimomura began putting more depth to what I consider the series' theme.

Birth By Sleep for the epicness, Days for the heavy emotion, and the original for the beautiful nostalgia.

Well dearly beloved is a really pretty piece no matter what variation, that being said I'd probably pick days, but my favorite dearly beloved is the one thats at the end of the "A Link to the Future" track from BBS.

They each have unique components that I love about each... but as for a favorite...

 

It would be DDD, but then the carnival-y sound comes on, and it kind of ruins it--though I understand why they put that in there-it's just... I don't know. I just... don't like it as much once that part comes on.

 

So I think my official favorite would have to be Kingdom Hearts II with a very close tie to BBS.

Days, BBS, and 3D are great.

Has anyone listened to the Dearly Beloved in Dream Drop Distance ~ The Next Awakening ~ ?

 

I love how clearly each separate instrument is!

I forgot coded, I also like it. I think it's because it is one of the least played games and you barely spend your time on the title screen, so a lot of people wouldn't like it because they never heard it.

Mine would have to be KH3D. It just sounds so peaceful and makes me wanna cry.

DDD's version is my favorite, it made me feel so many feels. -sniffle- ;A;

Oh yeah! Especially since it played during the 10th anniversary on that vid on Youtube.

Kingdom Hearts II. No doubt.

 

Kaoru Wada made such a good work for Dearly Beloved. 'Sweet' and 'Spice' memories that happened to be recorded until KHII are represented so well in the soundtrack. And the waves of the sea added to it, made it even more special and pleasant to hear.

 

Not that I am saying that I don't like the others, but Kaoru Wada's Dearly Beloved is the most emotional of all.

There are several version of Dearly Beloved in KH1 and KH2. My favorite would have to be the one in KH2 when Sora realized Riku was Riku.
