What do you think about the pets?

 

They're kinda cute, but I don't really like them that much. And their names seem kinda stupid. Wonder Cat and Bat Bat!?

They look cute and I wonder how the battle system will work with them and I hope the pet feature extends outward from KH:DDD and possibly KH3 but we'll see.

I like the idea of them, and from what I can understand they sound dang useful in a party. I think they thing that is getting at me is the design. I don't care for pastel colors, and their design is strange. They may grow on me, but we'll see. I will say that I prefer Riku's pets than Sora's.

I think it might be fun but no one will know tll someone gets the game and plays

When I saw the 1st images of them I thought, "Stupidest creatures in the series, ever. They don't even compliment Sora or Riku! Wtf Nomura! D'< "

 

When I watched Riku's demo I thought, "Ok...the 'unicorn' doesn't even look like one. Looks nicer than I imagined. The bat...I can deal."

 

When I learned what their names where; "Oh god......why, just.....WHY?!"

 

 

I want to like them, I really do....and it's slowly getting there with Riku's "pets". But Sora......I'm sorry, but his blimpy dog is the derpiest thing I've ever seen, and then to call it a cat!? Ffffffff.

At first I thought, "WHY NOMURA, WHY?"

 

I agree with Oishii. The designs and the pastel colours are annoying but they prove to be a useful asset in battle. If they do, I'll be very satisfied.

 

I don't like them much right now but I'm sure they'll grow on me, as everything Nomura creates has done so far.

I think that either people will like them or dislike them. There will be no inbetween. Myself I thought that the story was matureing a little bit and maybe we might even have a few cuss words here and there. But This is just a setback

I think they're cute. At least we'll have one game without having Donald and Goofy as party members

I must say I love Riku's bat, except for the colors. If it were purple and blue I'd love it.

Maybe we can customize them, because in the Artwork Riku's bat IS purple and Blue. As for Sora...

At first i was like... "K, a dog. And he has big... round, floating hands? K. Guess that sounds useful"

Then later, "Wait, those are actually cheeks? FFFuuuuuuu-"

And Finally... "WONDUNYAN? LIKE, AS A CAT? NOOOOOO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

they are slowly growing on me i like rikus pets (probably because they are the only ones we have seen so far) but im sure ill enjoy having them around in no time lol

They're ok. I'm just disappointed, because I was expecting the new characters to be human. At least it's a change from Donald and Goofy. And thankfully, unlike Donald and Goofy, they're actually useful

Was I the only who saw Sora's cat pet and thought "Hmm, weird cat..."? I see no dog in their whatsoever, but I can see a cat...

Not sure why they wanted to replace Donald and Goofy with them, but I suppose they have some relevance to the plot. Plus, they're Dream Eaters, so it'd be interesting to find how Sora & Riku befriended a couple of pets from the main enemy of the game.

That all depends on their position within the game and how useful they are to me. Just having a stupid looking pet following me around is a waste. If they function as partners, they should at least be good ones. I found myself frequently wondering why Donald and Goofy were even in KH1 and 2 Sora was more than enough by himself usually.

I'm guessing that either Donald and Goofy had to help M or that no people from the real world were allowed to help so Master Yen sid created these four "pets" as helpers.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO.........Nomura has officially ruined one of my absolute favorite game series! I mean, what's with the humongously obese blimp? And to be honest, I thought that Nomura should have used Sora and Riku's KH2 outfits.....I mean, Sora's outfit actually was a color OTHER than red, and I liked Riku's hair long. It reminded me of someone......

its kind of like when Gen 5 Pokemon came out. When it first came out i thought it was stupid, but then i got very used to them and started to like them. Same here.

When i first saw the pets i was like "lol wut?" and then i learned more about them and gotten used to them very fast. There really cute actually. I think its just for this game. After all, it is Dream Drop Distance. Over all i think there really cute

"They look cute!" although I reckon they will only be for Dream Drop Distance rather then the future games in Birth by Sleep Volume 2 and Kingdom Hearts III.
