Sorry about the lack of poll yesterday guys. Anywho, I was thinking about how they would do the whole Sora and Riku gameplay. What if they did it like in BBS? You pick to be Sora or Riku first, then go on to the other one. If so, then who will you play as first? Sora, or Riku?

 

I would pick Riku first, just because he's awesome.

I would pick sora cause i think his story will be the one that reveals more about the kh series than riku's

Sora. His clothes Look badass but Riku is badass.

i'm going to do what i did with birth by sleep... play them both at the same time, one world at a time...

I'd start with Sora.

I dunno yet. My automatic choice would be Sora then Riku. But if I'd have to save awesomeness last, it would be Riku.

I'd play Sora first, as he's my favorite (and I'm used to playing him). I'd also play him because he's the main character, so his story will probably be more important to the future of KH. I've missed playing Sora...

 

But it probably won't matter in the long run because we'll probably switch characters.

 

Wouldn't it be funny if the player you chose to start out with kept getting switched, and you played the other more?

 

@ Azure Flame, I don't think the gameplay would be that random. I think it'd be controlled. That's not saying that you might not switch during boss fights, but it probably wouldn't screw you over like that. LOL.

 

Also, might I suggest a poll of the day for tomorrow? Like, "What do you think Sora and Riku will wear in KH3?" Like, do you think they'll get new outfits (if the dream world ones are just for the dream), wear the dream world outfits, KH2 outfits, KH1 outfits (LOL), or something that wasn't listed (like Final Form or something)?

Maybe for the switching it could alternate between "chapters?

I would pick Sora just because it'd be like Re: CoM, but fun, and when I play with Riku, I'll call that Reverse/Rebirth. But I hope that random switch thing isn't in the game because then it'll feel like Nomura is trying to piss me off.

Never played that. But I kind of meant how like when you read a book with multiple main characters, it switches between viewpoints every couple chapters or so.

Not sure...I like the two characters the same and want to see both stories...

Deffinetly Riku. No offense to Sora but I like Riku a lot better.

Pretty sure we wont get to pick which mode we play. There will probably be only one mode.

I think the system may still switch between Sora and Riku. Maybe not just randomly, but after certain events you sort of skip back and forth between Sora and Riku's stories. Also, anyone think that Xehanort will be playable or something? It's a longshot, but still...

sora. He is my third favorite character after ven and roxas.

unless he wanted to keep it a secret or trick us. I still think that the whole change without warning thing is a trick. So many people would get pissed off if it happened. Say you're playing as Sora fighting a boss, and you've almost beaten him. Then it switches to Riku right before you land the final hit and you get killed by a different boss that Riku's facing.

 

I don't think it'll be that random if it were to be in the game. Maybe it'll be like a drama on t.v. Where they have their focus on one part of the story then after two or 3 minutes they change to another set of characters. You know what I mean?

Also... I'll be picking Sora first if the game lets us decide. I'll save Riku for last because he's a total badass 8-)

I'm most likely not going to get the game. Not because I don't want to (believe me, I reeeally want to) but because my parents refuse to let me get a 3DS.
