Is anyone else starting to lose interest in Kingdom Hearts? I used to be a huge KH-Tard but I'm starting to find interest in more things. Slowly and slowly I'm losing my interest in this series. There are three main reasons why.

 

1. Kingdom Hearts III hasn't been released yet and it's been 7(2005-2012) years already.

2. There are many good anime and manga to watch and read that are far more entertaining than Kingdom Hearts

3. They release news every once in a blue moon.

 

What about you guys here?

I'm starting to lose interest. I think it's because of lack of game releases. And when those games ARE released, they're so short and sometimes crappy. I think I'm gonna stop being a fan after KH3. I've been waiting for a while and i guess i could wait a little longer.

A little bit because of the current info drought. Once Jump Festa comes, I'll be just as much of a fanboy as before

Sometimes I lose interest, but after a handful of good news, I gain my interest back again.

Actually Kingdom Hearts has been losing a lot of fanbase lately, I think it's because after KH2 and BBS, the Kingdom Hearts series just hasn't delivered like they did and people are bored with their being even no news. It's like you said, KHIII still hasn't been released and the fans have waited long enough. It's not surprising that people are beginning to lose interest.

Now personally, Kingdom Heart was my first fandom and I still love it to pieces and I think I'm going to love KH3D and if there is a BBS VOL2, I think I'm going to love that even more, so KH still holds a lot of interest for me, but I have to wait another three years for KHIII, which I think I'm probably going to have to, I might just give up on KH for a little while.

Basically, some time after BBS, I did start to get pretty bored of it, and there's nothing to keep me hooked. The fanfiction sucks, anything to do with the fanfiction sucks, and news is so slow and uninteresting that I barely even give a shit. Even when it's about KH3D, I can honestly care less.

No, I'm a huge Kingdom hearts fan I think I could never get bored of the series because is so awesome!

Sometimes I lose interest in kh , but after having more news , I might get interested again .

Not really for me. Even if I haven't played a KH game since Re:Coded came out, I still have an interest in the games just by talking with fans and learning about what SE is doing. I have other interests as well with (mostly) books and some other games, but my love for those haven't overshadowed my love for KH, and vice versa. When I was younger, I wasn't like that. I jumped from one fandom to the next. But now I'm finding that my interests are becoming more stable, which is why I am glad I didn't play KH until I was older

im not i get more and more interested in this game with every little news we get it gives me something to look foward to and when i want to remember the good things i play the games over again yea i know whats gonna happen in them but its still fun to play the games and to look and news and specultaions and such its fun and will always stay close to my heart

I love KH games but I've never really been a huge fan of the series like a lot of the people here . I'd say that I have the same amount of "interest" as I've ever had in the series.

News about new KH games never really excites me... Like when KH3D finally comes out in the US I'll most likely be like "oh, cool!" and buy it. I won't be pissin my pants everytime new news about the game comes out .

However there is a new series coming that involves the Avatar world but not the same people as before. Some people don't like this idea. Its coming in 2012 but thats 4 years total. For people like me who loved Avatar, I can't wait for this new series. Kinda see the point I'm getting at?

Real fans never get tired of a series~ Harry Potter is finished and I still love it even though I read the last book 4 years ago

When I first played Kingdom Hearts 1, I didn't have a memory card, so I stayed up all night and hogged the game from my brother and sisters, so my file won't get erased because my mother wasn't going to buy a memory card until the next day. The main reason I did that was because at the time I felt that KH was the greatest video game I've ever played. Since then, I've played a lot of great video games, but no video game series resonates with me as much as KH does. As much as I love KH, I have no problem with anyone not liking the series or thinking that mixing Final Fantasy with Disney is the stupidest thing ever, but no one deserves to be on this site if they don't like Kingdom Hearts or is getting bored with it.
