It's been said before that Xion is a replica of Roxas and I have repeatedly put this down. Everyone needs to not believe everything a wiki tells them. The proof lies in one of xemna's reports from 358/2 days.

Xion's appearance should vary based on the relation of the viewer to her. Saïx sees her simply as a puppet. The Program approaches completion. Through Roxas, Xion is assembling a copy of the hero of the Keyblade. As proof, she sometimes appears to take on his form to my eyes.

 

This is indisputable proof that Xion is a replica of Sora not Roxas however similar they may be.

I found it very fascinating that she took on Ven's appearance to Xigbar at one point. At the time, I hadn't played KH2 yet (go figure for me x3), had no actual knowledge of BBS, and was just like "I don't get it, why does she look like Roxas in some other outfit?"

The only problem with that theory is that Ven's heart went with Roxas, eneabling him to use the Keyblade. Therefore, if Xion were mirroring Sora, she/it would not appear as Ventus.

 

And yes, she appeared as Sora at the end, but only after having completed what she was designed to do.

I think it's entirely plausible for her to be a replica of Sora and share Ven's appearance. Roxas was the one she was leaching memories off of and he had connections to more characters than just Sora. Ven's heart was there so his memories could have been taken too. But since she said it herself that she was so full of Sora's memories that they were overflowing, I think it's safe to say it's Sora. (oh, and she does have Riku's memories too. Sora's just overpowered all the others)

Yes! I always thought that. In fact, I thought it was explained that way. I never understood why people say she was a clone of Roxas. The Organization wanted Sora's power. Not Roxas'. So why would they clone him?

 

In fact, if I remember correctly, Riku tells Mickey something along the lines of, "The Organization didn't just take Sora's memory of Kairi. They made it impossible for him to get those memories back." It's not the exact quote, but it's near the end of the game when Riku turns into Ansem. It also explains, in some ways, why Xion was Kairi like.

 

I definitely think she was a cone of Sora. Not Roxas.

In Chain of Memories, when Sora kept losing his memories as he went deeper into Castle Oblivion. Starting with Marluxia passing through him in the beginning, I think.

Roxas could use the keyblade because he's Sora's nobody. When Xion joined Roxas, she unlocked Ven's heart making Roxas dual wield.

PLEASE READ THIS: Xion takes on a certain appearance to other people's eyes. She looks like Xion to Roxas and Axel. She looks like Sora to Riku (until he saw her as Xion). She looks like a puppet to Saïx and she looks like Ventus to Xigbar.

tutti frutti. I agree with replika13. Since Xion IS a replica of Sora, I don't see why she wouldn't be a replica of Roxas as well. More so since Sora and Roxas of half of one another. I always saw Roxas as the medium of Xion taking Sora's memories. As for how characters view Xion I always thought that her appearance was based on who saw her: Xigbar saw Ven, Roxas & Axel saw her as herself, Saix a puppet, etc. I can definitely see Xion having some of Ven's memories, though kind of debateable since he is in a coma state, but knowing SE if that's possible then it won't matter. As for the whole Keyblade ordeal with why Roxas is able to weild two at the same time I think goes deeper, though I won't go into that unless someone asks.
