We all heard of Sanctuary, the theme song for KHII and 358/2 Days. And you remember thoses gibberish parts where you can't understand? Well they are infact backwards. Here is the video, containing all of thoses backwards parts:

 

 

However, there might be a hidden message when the whole song is backwards. And you really have to read the lyrics:

 

 

Now I am not sure about theses lyrics being backwards, considering that a couple of them are just weird. Not only that, this is what people thought they heard...so yeah...but I still think it's a message.

 

BTW, I don't think that last part where Roxas is talking backwards doesn't really matter. It's just the singing part that matters

Well, I'mma backwards expert...

I need more affection than you know, I need true emotions, and so many ups and downs are the ones that were SUPPOSED to be backwards, and you can tell they are in the forwards version.

However, the rest seems to be fan interpreted, and may or may not be true.

 

As the forward version is about Sora, Riku(?) and Kairi, The backwards version is believed to be about Roxas, Dark Riku(?), and Namine.

 

Now about Simple and Clean being backwards isn't possible to mean anything, since the song was made before Kingdom Hearts, and therefore not for the game, so it would of sounded like that anyway without the game existing.

That's freakin' awesome... I seriously thought those parts were in Japanese.

But I don't think those three backwards parts are referring to Sora, Riku, and Kairi(I know the rest pretty much does). It's the theme for KH2 and Days(I could of sworn it was for CoM too, but I don't have the Re: version, so...), both in which Nobodies play a big part(espeically Days, plus KH2 is where Mansex gets his rear handed to him, no pun intended), so I'm thinking it could refer to the Nobodies' side of things. Think about it:

"I need more affection than you know" = The Nobodies have no one fighting for them and no one else on their side, but since they can't feel, they're anatognized(sp?) and well... I can't put it into words. Nobody cares about what happens to them, something like that.

"So many ups and downs" = The entire run of the Organization was up and down. Victories, death of members. A growing Kingdom Hearts, treason by Flower Boy. Then Mansex absorbing the power, and then they all go boom. Ups and downs can also describe the course of Days, although the song was written before Days(although, the basic storyline could have been set in... it takes years to make a game, especially one like KH.)

"I need true emotion" = That's the most obvious one. They all want a heart to feel with. All they can do is remember what the feelings were like and express that.

 

I wish someone would make a version of the backwards parts put into the real song. It might sound really off, but I'm willing to suffer through it.

We all know it makes sence in some odd way... and sorta recaps parts of KH1 and introduces KH2 backwards in a way it couldn't do forwards....

"Yeah I was him, Someone now turn it down." Well, backwards wise this part is where Roxas is, but forawards wise, its on a Sora reaching for Kairi.

"He was Ansem" Is on a part backwards where you see Sora, Riku and Kairi.

Forawards Video+Backwards music you See a dark suited Riku.

 

"Wasn't it easy?" is backwards on a Namine part, Forwards on a Riku turning into Ansem part.

 

"Yeah I was him, we all three grew I hear I was ansem, I hear I was ansem" etc. Backwards is on a Sora part, forwards Riku, Sora Pwning ansem part...

If you listen close, you can see(or rather hear) it's just someone trying to pull words out of it. Like those joke videos with "Misheard Lyrics". Most of the words don't even match up, and the ones that do sound too weird to be on purpose. "Ansem" doesn't sound like Ansem. Most of the stuff doesn't make sense! "We shall back"? WTF? I can understand how somebody can weave and twist meanings to this that tie into the game, I tried it myself not only with this song but a lot of the other stuff I listen to in order to get it to fit a story. But ya'll need to use some common sense. Here's an example: "I hear I was Ansem" could refer to Riku transforming into Xenahort(who took on Ansem's name and whom the Organization refers to as Ansem) when he accepted the darkness. Its still fun to believe. We don't have to make all that big of a deal over it except the parts that were suppost to be backwards. :'D

People hear what they want to hear. If you want to believe that there is a hidden message on it, there will be, as if you don't there won't be. And anyways, the lyrics you have heard doesn't reveal anything, just the obvious playing the first three games.

This is an interesting find. I'm positive we are definitely over examining some parts but who knows?

 

From what I read so far if this is truly a subliminal message than we can expect a lot more KH games and major twist or two as well.

 

Usually when lyrics are played backward you get complete gibberish. Honestly if those lyrics weren't there I probably wouldn't hear anything except for the actual reverse parts.

Well, I get it, but I don't think there was any secret message. I've seen a million of these, but everyone translates it differently, and there are some VERY different/translations of the exact same thing. It just depends on how you screw with the audio.
